I'm well aware of the criticism against my reviews, which is justified, but I'm still going to keep making TSW reviews for the time being because A) it's something I enjoy doing and B) a sizeable number of people still enjoy them.
You have every right to be angry it's ridiculous keep having trains we already have we want new stuff they will rapidly lose customers unless they improve things like not releasing a route with tons of bugs like the mml

@@markcovington4761 these dlcs are made by the gameplay team who have a bit of downtime between each release. It's not really made by a whole loco team to build a fully paid loco dlc.
I agree the BR423 is the only thing anywhere near good on this pack because at least if you don't own HMA you get a new train to your collection. Even so, it's correct that the interior is wrong and also the outside and inside passenger information display is inaccurate. Both would have been easy fixes because both the PIS and the interior is basically identical to the BR422. Arguably, the BR423 should or at least could have been the standard train layering into other route for free once HMA got released, since except the re skin not a lot was changed. So even the BR423 standalone pack is hard to justify for me (although I got the whole thing when it dropped because I wanted the 423, shame on me).
The BR 423 is not the right variant that runs on the S-Bahn Koln. The S-Bahn Koln 423 has an older, unrefiburished interior and not the modern one used in the s-bahn munchen network. DTG just took the HMA 423 and changed the livery.
Just going to comment, gray ghost is the name of the KCS gray scheme (derived from the earlier ghost scheme which was all white), while most people refer to the CSX gray scheme as the “stealth” scheme.
Thanks for the clarification. I'm not too familiar with US liveries. Incidentally I remember hearing a Union Pacific AC4400CW that once had a grey livery with full UP branding.

It was a former Southern Pacific engine, which merged into UP in 1996 and all locos were eventually repainted aside from a few that have managed to stay in SP paint to this day. 6344 was repainted at a non-UP shop, and they didnt have the yellow paint at the time so they just painted it gray. It was very quickly sent to a UP shop and repainted into the full UP colors. That is what I could find from the limited info online about it and the few pictures of it
Credit where it's due, the SD40 probably has the best US horn in the game, and the scenarios were pretty decent, but that's about it, the engine looks horribly out of place. The S livery is from the early years of CSX and didn't last long due to poor visibility, and if it's supposed to a restored heritage unit as the pack suggests, it would need ditchlights, a safety requirement from the FRA since the 1990s. And sadly the numbers are wrong, but that seems to be common on US stock... On a side note, there was a CSX SD40 in YN1 paint (similar to the S livery) in storage in Cumberland yard as of 2021, might still be there.
Because as far as I'm aware the 422 doesn't run on any S-bahn lines through Koln. Interestingly enough the Class 420 did run in the 2010s on the S12 line between Duren and Au (Sieg) via Koln due to a lack of 423s. Maybe something for TSG to look into for their upcoming Class 420
If they ever continue making new journeys expansion packs, they should actually put content that improve/ upgrade or route expansion.🤔😎👍 They should also do content what the community wants to see😎🤔😎!?. When they ever do reskins of locomotive they should be free or be called livery enchantment packs. 🤔😎😎.(DTG should stop being lazy).😡😢

Legit don’t understand why the csx gp40-2 dlc wasn’t added to be used on TSW3 makes zero sense
