Hi I always follow popo and today I can’t make the cake as I don’t have green peas powder. Can you ask popo what happened if I don’t use it or can I replace it with something approximate because in my country we don’t have it. Thank you and congrats for all popo and your videos👍👏
This morning, I used HappyMoi Pandan Nine-Layer Cake and it was a TOTAL FAILURE. I followed your recipe exactly and during the stirring of the flour, I sensed something was not right because the batter was rather thick. I dared not add extra liquid to the batter for fear of not following the recipe might result in failure. The finished product - the kueh was as HARD as a ROCK! What a cursed recipe and I throw away the kueh. Sigh .... Never ever use this recipe!
@@Silkpoh Hi dear, which brand of flour you used? Do you add the same amount of flour and water? Video had shown the texture of batter, it’s same of not? I tried many recipe, if failed mostly become soften, never try the recipe that make kueh hard as rock.
@@HappyMoi it is the typical rice, tapioca and mung bean flours I used. In S'pore, it cannot go wrong with flour stated in your recipe. I followed the recipe to the "T". During preparation of the batter, I sensed why the batter was so thick and already knew something was not right. However, I continued and went ahead with the measurements in your recipe. To my horror, the kueh was so hard after cooked. Wasting all my effort and money. Haiz, I will run far far away from HappyMoi recipes in future. Haiz!

It must taste extra delicious with fresh pandan! What dialect are you speaking? Some of it sounds like Cantonese.
