I grabbed a lady who stepped in front of the light rail train in Denver. She had ear buds in and was crossing the tracks at the appropriate place, just wasn't aware of the incoming train. I didn't say something normal like "you should be more careful! Or watch what your doing....no, I looked her dead in the eyes as the 35 mh train whipped her hair as it blew past...and said "haha, saved your life!" Like I was a twelve year old 🤦🤣 just another day of being overly aware of everyone around me and mitigating danger. Hyper functioning anxiety has a few perks.

I have a story: one time I was really young. I was playing outside with my sister until I started hearing weird noises from inside the house. I went inside to see horror. My stepmother was wedged underneath 2 bookshelves. My scrawny body was to unstable to help her out so I had to wait for my uncle Hayden to lift the bookshelves.
Edit: If I had stayed outside any longer, she would've died.

The Alaska tow truck one was huge for a while here and everyone was like “oh my gosh did that really happen?” And then even more shocked when it appeared on a tv show I don’t remember which show but I believe it might’ve been an a&e show but I’m not sure. Also he pronounced Seward wrong it’s Soo-ward.

I've had more than my fair share of idiots almost running me over. I'm always checking my surroundings no matter where I go but it seems to me that ppl just don't care and think everywhere they go is a freeway. Slow the f down ppl otherwise someone going to get seriously injured or worse. I've even been a moment where a lady was 'parked' but on her phone and I was going to cross but she starts driving without noticing wtf she was doing and starts pushing me onto oncoming traffic. If you're in a car but going to be on the phone it's best to keep keys out of the ignition and if you're going to start to drive then put your phone out of reach, look up and where you're going in all directions, and frickin just be alert of your surroundings regardless of your role as drivers or pedestrian.

second clip: he got sideswiped by the glass pane because of where he was standing. he would’ve been hit if he was standing a little further to his left. had he looked at his shoe for a second longer or a second less (or not at all), he would’ve been completely missed by it

The pane of glass was absolutely scary. I’m not a physics major so I can’t confirm this but I feel like any other angle and that pane would’ve done some serious damage to that man. His shoe basically saved his life. One step to the left and he would’ve had a bad day or even worse, his last day.

3:55 I can relate to this. I walked into a nearby Dollar Tree a year or two back. As I walked up the primary aisle, I heard something behind me; but I was not sure what. I don't remember whether I noticed the shelves to my left (as I faced the front of the store) were moved; but as I walked back toward the front of the store noticing something was amiss, there was a car; clearly stopped by the store's side wall. Something apparently happened to the driver; she seemed shaken, but alright. If I had walked through those doors a second later... God clearly had His hand on me that day.

The car fire was so incredibly lucky that I'd have to imagine this being the luckiest these folks will ever get again. For that reason alone, if I knew them, I'd tell them to steer clear of all garbage trucks and septic tank trucks.

The one with the tow truck, I'm pretty sure that the driver of the car was attempting to have a fun time drifting on the snow not knowing that they were putting a civilian's life at risk
