I started recently at Starbucks and from my interview experiences with their SM and DM, they really ask questions related to one's attitude and personality. Because skill can be learned, but your attitude and personality are difficult to change since it is developed from your childhood. One of the questions my DM asked I won't forget was "What do you think your parents' traits that you can adapt as a barista," this got me teary-eyed for real! Hahaha! I took a while to answer because I really thought of my parents and looking back, I'm so grateful to them for being my parents. 💖

Hi! It'll take days to weeks, even po. It depends on the branch which you passed po your resume if they are in immediate need of a barista. Good luck!
Hello po, nagsubmit po ako application ko sa careers website ng starbucks last week. And nakalagay po sa application status ko is "For initial interview" at "For SM interview". May idea po ba kayo ilang weeks or how long po bago itxt or i-email for interview? Btw, thanks for this video! Really helps a lot 😇 more videos to come pa po 🤗

-(i was interviewed first in the store) what have you observe in the store habang andon ka? and what do you think SB should improve?
-why should we hire you?
-what will you do if you and your coworker will go out "tagay, tagay" (example lang) and he cant work tapos nag tatanong yung manager kung asan sya. what will you answer?
-why did you leave your previous work?
-most important skills needed to work in customer service.

I would like to work part time at SB but no experience yet, i also have a full time job in sales and marketing (8-5 pm weekdays only). Do they accept this kind of scenarios? May i know the minimum hours per week for part time? Can I be assigned for night shift (preferably 6 pm onwards) since i cant leave my day job?
Hi! It’s 40 hours per week for parttimers. The schedule depends on the shift supervisor/store manager po.

Hi! It depends po if you're a partime or a fulltime barista. We have a required number of hours po per week (if I remember correctly it's 40 hours for parttime and maybe 48 for fulltime). Unfortunately we don't disclose po the rate but I'm sure it depends on which branch you are working Hope these helped! 😊
A quick question, where does Starbucks holds the interview ? Is it in their store where everyone is sitting or they take you to some other place ?
@Teddy i think is in the store where they hold the interview not like a backroom or in the office where you will feel nervous. i have an interview in the morning and its 2.53a.m in SEA. so gl for me im nervous

Hi! It depends po. Some had a week, some 2 weeks din yung iba abot 1 month po, it depends po talaga:( They'll send you the list of requirements po but more on the usual lang lang Philhealth, NBI clearance, Brgy clearance, etc 😊
Is it okay to apply for full-time barista if shs graduate lang po? I did OJT for our Work Immersion class naman po, can that be used as an advantage din po in getting hired?

I hoped they will hired me i remembered still when i used to work at KSA as a coffee maker, i make around 100 cappuccinos 80 Latte, etc and 12 hours a day. 🥴😛😛

Nag-antay ako ng higit 2 buwan sa response nila after I passed my resume through their gmail 😭 Ako'y waiting na lang for final interview with the District Manager 😅 Mas maganda talaga kung magpasa kayo mismo sa gmail ng Starbucks nag-try ako sa website at Indeed kaso waley ang tagal ng response. P'wede naman pala Tagalog sa interview kaloka nag-kabisado pa ako ng English answers, I guess depende pa rin sa interviewer na mapupunta sa inyo HAHAHAHA
So, ayun lang naman kasi kahit papaano nakatulong itong video na itoooo. Thank you Sissyyy!! 🤗💓

Finally, I got the job kahit seasonal partner lang and hopefully ma-absorb. Hahaha Nagaantay na lang for orientation at makapagumpisa na. I was assigned in Twin Lakes Tagaytay kaya goodluck na lang sa mahabang byahe lol 😂

Hindi po ako naglagay ng preferred branch eh. In my case po kasi nag-response sila sa application ko then tsaka lang nila ako sinabihan na mag-apply through their website doon sa branch nila which is sa Twin Lakes.
@@cydenyap Actually natanggap na po ako Hahaha Nagaantay na lang for orientation at makapagumpisa na po. Ang kaso malayo ang branch ang na-assigned po sa'kin pero keri na rin naman, tyaga lang talaga kaysa maging tambay. 🤦 Kaya grateful na rin ako even seasonal partner akes, dagdag experience na lang.

Hi! Welcome to my channel! 😊 Usually po iba iba kada store. It depends po if in demand talaga. Yung ibang kakilala ko is approx. 1 week, in my case naka 3 weeks po, and based sa ibang nagcocomment dito mga 5 days to 2 weeks. Hope this helped! 😊

Hi! I believe okay rin yung hindi super short. Dapat hindi parang ma ponytail na. I had workmates rin na mid-length rin but not too long na like shoulder-length na yung hair. As long as you still look neat and clean, you're okay! 😊

Hi , sa online site nila ako nagapply and madami n aakong application na nakalagay lang ay for initial, SM, & DM Interview kaso wala pang sched and wala pa nagreereach out. Plan ko sana magapply pa dun sa opening na mas malapit sa loc. ko kaso ang sabi you have a pending application. Triny ko iwithdraw yung other application kaso ayaw magfunction nung widtraw button, ganon b atalaga yun?

Hello po, what if part time lng apply ko sa SB and they ask you why part time okay lg po ba sabihin na your planning na mag J1-internship? At hindi ka magtatagal sa SB. Like gusto mo lng ng experience sa coffeeshop. Pwedi po ba yung reason ko? Salamat. I hope you notice this hehe

Hmmmm, in my case the DM told me na part time lang po ako when I asked since I didn't plan on staying for so many years rin po. And yes, they base it rin po from your experience and educational background if ipapa part time or full time barista ka.

I'm graduate of computer science kase and I want to switch a career from call center agent to being barista in coffee shop. hello Ms. Cyden. ask ko lang po if you are already hired na po ba kapag naka-abot sa final interview. nagkaroon po kasi ng open house hiring nung aug 14 sa sb store na near lang samin, and then mostly po hanggang first interview lang po, and barely lang po yung umabot ng final interview and fortunately I'm one of them po. and then nung ako na yung interview for final, I forgot if she said na DM po sya e. then after the interview ang sabi nya, "wait for the text this week". hired na po ba ako nun? pero hanggang ngayon, wala pong text e and nagtanong na rin po about sa pinaka malapit na store and possible sched kasi part time po. thankyou po, sana mapansin. worrying na rin po kasi ako heheh😊😊
