its been a month since im working at starbucks, i did really well on the interview.. good luck everyone u got this!
I had my interview a few weeks ago. It was super quick and got a call back in half an hour that they want to hire me:) Some tips that I would recommend are to BE YOURSELF, and do not stress too much about the interview! While interviewing, make sure that you answer questions clearly and express that you are customer-oriented to always be able to make the customers happy. Starbucks is a very customer-oriented store, so it is important to make sure that every person is treated with respect and great service. While interviewing, you should also know your responses to “why do you want to work here”, “how you would benefit the company/store by working there”, “how would you be of assistance/help to customers” and a question that I received was “run me through a scenario of taking a customer’s order/making it”. @@Teddy-rh8vl i’m assuming that they hold the interview in the back rooms of the cafe, likely not where drinks are made. perhaps a break room or something? it would very likely be away from other people and distractions ;)
Just finished my Interview! Although it was terrifying to do being an introvert, at least the organizer (store manager) acted nice. “Why Starbucks?” was the first question I was asked. I didn’t really say all what I rehearsed accurately but I said it based on the answers I got from here. There were 3 Starbucks-based questions that were asked though, not word for word but they’re similar to these lines: “Tell me a time when you helped your company”, “Walk me through a time you have helped a customer”, and “What is a time when you helped your colleague”. Very long and specific questions and I tried to base my answers to what I have written on my own and from question I saw from the comments here, and it sort of helped! If you’re the type who is not entirely good at talking, become prepared with your questions and answers related to what have you done in your experience! Also be yourself, be kind, and don’t interrupt when the interviewer speaks (there were a few times when we both laughed when I say things like “my pleasure” when he’s still talking maybe due to lag connection). So please be aware of that too! I hope this helps my fellow interviewees, especially those who get nervous and are introverted! Best wishes :) (UPDATE: Didn’t get the job, probably due to not being the candidate to work for early mornings and late nights.)

This video REALLY helped me prepare and really helped me get an idea of what questions and expectations to expect for my interview! My first interview with Starbucks went so well and my interviewer said I did amazing and really wow'd them with my answers all thanks to you! I really studied these questions and answers and used my past experiences to make the answers more unique to me. My first interview went so well that I got a second interview and got offered the job after that! I start my first week of training Monday, August 1st & am sooo excited to start with the company! I just want to share my experience when I tried to attend my interview at Starbucks last 2019, I got 2 interviews with different district managers, and I failed to be a part of their teams. And now I am going to make another application and interview on Monday, Praying that I pass the interview 🙏🙏

in my starbucks interview they asked at the end "what is your favorite drink and how would you recommend it to someone" which threw me off guard but at the end i asked the interviewer some questions and was able to flip it around and i landed the job! so keep that in mind, if the interview goes south ask them some questions at the end and turn it around

@@itoshiterumaki at the end when she said do you have any questions for me i said something along the lines of "what traits make your best employee stand out above the rest" which i got from literally one of the videos off this channel
@@itoshiterumaki you could even use that question if u want it's a good one, whoever is asking questions is in control of a conversation, but wait til it's your turn, they're gonna ask availability, your favorite drink, how you would pitch that drink to someone, how to handle upset customers and then one or two more and even if it goes great still use that question to show you're interested. let me know if you get the job i'll give you some more tips as i've been working a few months now

LOLLLLL I've been watching your videos for an interview videos for call centers, I did not get the one I wanted for progressive (my own fault, I crumbled under pressure and went blank in the final interview as all my friends worked there and they knew I was applying. My mind went blank when that final interview happened). I then interviewed at spectrum, using your tips, I got an offer!!! I'm waiting on a criminal background that IIII had to fill out and I'm scared I missed info, therefore making me disqualified. Will update if so, but at aleast got an offer! I also applied to spectrum at the same time as Starbucks, and have my Starbucks inverview tomorrow. I'm praying I get to choose between the two :)
