The way he smiles when he watches Shinichi and Satoshi tuck in… Frank knows exactly what the two gents are smelling, tasting, feeling and experiencing. Ramen bond only ramen enthusiasts will understand.
I love 5am Ramen big love for both of you! And that ramen place was super modernized for us coming from abroad, im glad more and more traditional shops are adjusting and making them accesible to others easily!

@@NamaJapan I do now. It was nice to watch chef prepare the ramen to get an idea of how it should be done authentically. Some of the ingredients might be hard for American's to get but even making your own basic broth would be a big improvement. I'm always upset when i see what people here think is good ramen.

Are there any popular ramen shops in Japan that offer meatless ramen? I eat fish and seafood, but not meat. Shops like Danbo have vegan options outside of Japan..not in Japan sadly :( also, Frank is great at critiquing food. He really has a way with words

My country lifted mask wearing requirements about a month ago… but most people still wearing them most of the time….probably people got used to it and will take time to adjust when I visited Istanbul about 2mths ago where measures were pretty relaxed ..many were still wearing mask
