22:24 I think Japanese buses are nice because they are clean. 22:29 This food looks so delicious. I want to eat it, too. 日本のバスはきれいでいいようですね。 22:29この料理はとてもおいしそうです。 私も食べたいですね。
I just want to say that I appreciate that you sometimes choose the more affordable option when you take trips. I only ever see people taking either the most expensive option or the cheapest and there is a rarely an in between. I understand why content creators do this, but I do like seeing what it would be like in those middle rows, even if the view isn't as open as the very front.
That was quite the journey! Although affordable, bus travel is a hard way to go. Thank you for pushing through it and now that you marked it off your list, you don't have to do it again 🙂
Solo, That was a wonderful video, I visited Japan many times from England in the last 20 years, 58 times my passport tells me, I wished it was just once and I was still there, I ❤️ Japan
What totally baffles me as a European, is that you can eat amazingly good food at a fair price at the train station in Japan! Totally unheard of over here. Massively overpriced supermarkets and Fast Food is all you can get at our stations.
I have been thoroughly enjoying your videos, and as a Londoner, I am jealous of the quality of your mouth wateringly excellent food. No wonder the Japanese have a great reputation regarding the quality of their food and your public transport system appears to be second to none, though from the UK we do appear to share one thing and that is the weather :-) Thanks for sharing.
So much LOL at dinner when solo travel said he's just having cold soba with vegetable tempura, when clearly curry rice is right there beside it. Hahaha. I love solo travel's love for curry.🥺
Thank you very much for sharing that with us. Great content as always. And the food you showed made me start feeling hungry again, even though I’d literally just finished dinner!
Solo travel, you are brave...that was a long trip. At my age, it would take me a week to rest up from that trip!😂 The pork dish at the beginning made my mouth water all the way over here in the US!! Thanks for taking us along with you❤
“5/ 100 HP remaining” 🤣 I enjoy your videos and am also amazed at the quality of the food you find at terminals, convenience stores and vending machines
The second episode is here, yay! Can't wait for the others. You manage to combine funny anecdotes and useful information with great video material ans cutting skills! 💪💪
Every time I see someone ordering food in Japan it always looks so pretty. Almost like it was done for a magazine article. In the US restaurants usually don’t care and will slop it on the plate. I wish the visual aspect was more appreciated here. Lovely videos as always! ☺️
Thank you for making these videos Those laws requiring breaks and sleep are here too. Some semi-truck drivers are paid by loads delivered. in order to pay their bills, some would drive non-stop before those laws were around. Drivers fall asleep while driving was one of the reasons those laws exist. The logbooks are checked at the weigh stations. The sleeper semi-trucks can be lived in. They cost about the same as a house.
All the food looked amazing as always! (Especially the invisible curry rice you had with the soba). I never manage to sleep on buses, even private ones that are supposed to be safer (you don't want to sleep in public buses here, unless you want to wake up missing belongnings). But taking into account that I neve manage to sleep on cars or planes either, I think I'm just unable to sleep in moving vehicles. Ferrys/cruise ships are fine tough, I can sleep on those with no issue.
It was fun to see so much of the countryside! And that's the first time I saw you ride a ferry without getting a room. The view seat was a different perspective. Looks like this was a nice trip. (Even though your buttocks ran completely out of life! 😂)
Yay second episode is here finally,I like your Apple juice,Pork rice for breakfast,Budon for lunch and curry rice also for lunch and The shop usually open at 11amish time daily
I appreciate your sacrifce, because I am finding it very hard to justify taking a bus unless I want to make the cheapest trip possible, as amazing as these buses look.
I really enjoyed watching your trip. It’s much more pleasant to watch your video with just highlights than to actually endure such a long bus ride! That miso pork katsu in Nagoya looked so delicious that now I want to go there to get it, 😍
Thank you Solo Travel Japan-son. This was a very interesting trip and I commend you for it. It’s amazing what a difference in travel time there is between bus and Shinkansen. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This is exactly what I’m going to do the next time I visit Japan. I love the train and bus ride. Relax, enjoy the scenery and I don’t have to drive. Thank you for telling me where to purchase tickets.
Okay let's be honest, 🤔 I've being watching your videos for a long time now and I know you were already planning on ordering that rice chicken curry dish the moment you saw it on the menu. 😁 I've watched you eat an industrial amount of rice curry over time: if there ever is a global curry shortage, I'm blaming you! 🤣
I've been enjoying your videos a lot lately. Usually, I prepare some food and then sit down and watch your journey. Thank you for always taking us with you and keep up the great work! Greetings from Germany :)
Thank you so much Solo T. for taking us with you , I really love to follow you on your trips in Japan. We learn so much about japan ' life, with your good humor too. Your meals ??? Great ! The food is wonderfull at a very good price. ... so I can't wait till your next trip. Aligato.
That was a tough trip! Spending so much time sitting! Well, at least you accomplished your objective. 🙂 I enjoy watching you eating. The Miso pork looked delicious! 😋 Also the apple juice. I hope you found a nice lodging in Sapporo, to regain your strength. You made the trip enjoyable. Thank you! 🤗
At least you have break in between the bus journey. Many years ago, my grandfather took a bus from Singapore to Thailand that lasted between 2 to 4 days straight.
This was such an interesting couple of videos! A real torture, it seems, but just the sort of thing I would do myself just out of curiosity, to see what it's like. As a side remark, it would be cool to see some of East Hokkaido one day. I feel like this is a part of Japan that's seldom explored.
I hope you treated yourself to a nice comfy hotel bed after this leg of the journey. That miso katsu looked great. Even though I'm not much of a meat eater, I'd definitely give that a try.
The journey is finally completed. An interesting way to travel but appears very tiring. It's great you get to break up the trip with delicious food. I hope you got a well deserved rest after this long trip and recharged your HP.
Great to see the journey completed. You must have been very tired when you reached the end. The amazing foods would help get through the tough parts of the journey. Hope you got some rest time after that to recover your HP.
Thank you for your videos and sharing your experiences with humor and geographic knowledges! I like very much your trips on roads, seas, railroads and… curry rice! Finally I found someone who 💚 curry like me, hehehe! Peace&Love and be happy with much curry 🍛
I am so jealous! JK - I am fascinated by your travel. During each trip (such as this one), I enjoy the amazing scenery and the information you often provide about the locations/sites you visit. Oh, and the food - love that each area/region has its own specialties to offer. Thanks for sharing, as always. BTW - the "Well done, my buttocks" comment at the beginning . . .😄👍
I sometimes do overnight buses in England and it's not too bad but they are only about 5 to 8 hours.I think that the longest I've done was in New Zealand Aukland to Wellington 11 hours but a beautiful views of the bay and mountains coming in and the excitement of the ferry ⛴️ to Picton on the South Island ahead.
Tremendous trip (literally lol). I think it's nice to be able to take the time to explore, to get to know (and in your case, to eat delicious things!), thank you very much for sharing your trips, I like your channel :), greetings from Chile!
I think I would rather ride a plane or shinkansen, I rode an overnight bus in Japan and I felt so tired when we arrived but that was quite an experience you had.
Wow, great achievement unlocked there! 👏🎉 Not anyone can do what you have dared tried -that kind of travelling. Its worth all the hardships u had (HP loss and all😅) but yeah, very thankful u shared it to all of us. Till next video, i hope no HP losses next time eh?😅
22:24 I think Japanese buses are nice because they are clean. 22:29 This food looks so delicious. I want to eat it, too.
日本のバスはきれいでいいようですね。 22:29この料理はとてもおいしそうです。 私も食べたいですね。
Ah that glorious old ship, "Toughened Glass."

It is because of your videos, that I plan to visit Japan one day!
That was quite the journey! Although affordable, bus travel is a hard way to go. Thank you for pushing through it and now that you marked it off your list, you don't have to do it again 🙂
Oh my lord that katsu dish looks mighty tasty. Not gonna lie, my mouth watered a little when you were showing it off!
Solo, That was a wonderful video, I visited Japan many times from England in the last 20 years, 58 times my passport tells me, I wished it was just once and I was still there, I ❤️ Japan
very good video that show us from eye level point of view. i can see the real Japan !
I think your videos are the best way to chill after a long day :D !
What totally baffles me as a European, is that you can eat amazingly good food at a fair price at the train station in Japan! Totally unheard of over here. Massively overpriced supermarkets and Fast Food is all you can get at our stations.
Same in the USA. Overpriced junk food.
@@takinastabatit the food in an American bus station could kill you as well as being overpriced!
@@takinastabatit I vote we sell all of the restaurant leases to some of these Japanese places. The food certainly looks better.
@@ThePykitty Absolute truth! I have a 12 hour ride on Greyhound coming up this week, and I am packing my food.
@@currentsitguy That gets MY vote :D
A good meal is complete with... Japanese curry 🍛😂
You get the "Iron Tail" Award for going from one end of Japan to the other by bus! It certainly was an interesting journey.

I ❤ your videos especially the small details like the keyboard sound after you finish typing 😄
The best thing about your videos is the humour. Thank you sir.
If I ever buy a yacht, I'll call it "Toughened Glass". Thank you for another wonderful video.
Solo travel, you are brave...that was a long trip. At my age, it would take me a week to rest up from that trip!😂 The pork dish at the beginning made my mouth water all the way over here in the US!! Thanks for taking us along with you❤

What we need is a sunflower bus line :)
Oh no - a bus, with speakers singing out over the countryside, all hours of the night, over and over SUNN FLOOO WEEEERRR SUN FLOOOOOOW WEEERRRRRRR.

Cool. Looking to take one of japan express busses in my next travel.
Thanks, I've been looking forward to part 2.
I have been to this restaurant in Nagoya, specifically for miso katsu. Thanks for sharing!
