I'm really glad that MCM2 decided to make real edited episodes from Drag week. Like most people watching the series, I had drag week on all week in some kind of live or daily recap format. The wait is worth it! The storyline, commentary, quality of the edits... I never feel like the MCM2 content is background noise, something to watch. These videos are an event, a worthwhile activity, precious time well spent. Thanks for being awesome!
Lex Gso Yessir. I don't mind some rock or rap, I just prefer something upbeat. I had family from Australia over and they liked the kind of music we listen to, but everyone is different.
Mech Stiggy has an incredible butt/bum dyno. His ability to guess his ET within. 0.10 seconds in repeated videos is amazing. With all the crap going on and through your mind at that ET/trap speed makes it all the more impressive! Full send boys!
Moog music perfect ,Benny talks informative, ALS jokes effortless, Woody film and editing top notch to everyone involved in CRESTA DRAG courtesy of MCM2 thank you all
Drag week car, coin pocket full of parking money, phone charger still connected and that badass beard poking out the bottom of the helmet. Bennie, Al and the team are legends.
The cresta build is in the top 3 favorite build series and seeing it progress more and more after its original series is so amazing. This series honestly deserves to be on the main channel. Following this adventure has been wonderful, so thanks so much for everyone that put in time to make it happen! 💕
I'm loving that you guys have done this massive adventure, not only with an Aussie power plant, but recorded the trip too! Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see the next installment.
Those guys... So much respect for them. Different country, driving in the other side of the road, hard drag days and still keepping cool, helping people and having fun. They deserve all the good things they achieved.
This is my current favourite series on youtube/TV at the moment. Love the content and how it stays so fresh week on week. It should be more mainstream but part of me is glad that it's not. Massive well done to all involved and a special mention to Woody for capturing it all in such a professional way, that camera must have been glued to your hand the entire time! Keep up the amazing work boys, lots of love from Scotland 🏴
Al is frickin hilarious!!!!! Benny -"what do you think about this storm" Al- "How fast is it moving?" Benny- "140mph" Al-"Dont you do 149, you'll be all good. Just send it"
You blokes are killing it, this trip your normal episodes are amongst the best in the world atm..... your projects and general attitude are everything great about the Australian enthusiast sean,
Thank you for this series! You guys are absolute legends. I look forward to this so much every week. Makes me so happy to see the notification on my phone for new episode. Alan's love for wrenching and his personality is so inspiring also Woody and Benny add to the show very much, love them both as well. It was so unfortunate for me that I didn't get to meet you guys when you were here in the USA. Thank you once again for all the happiness you give us car enthusiasts!
Yes! So good! What a blast you guys must be having - all together, meeting new friends, surrounded by like-minded people and their wild and inspired cars! The build quality on the Cresta is proving that not all trips between tracks must include wrenching roadside, covered in diff oil, while 18-wheelers blow by.
The way you guys run your operation, it's laid back and chilled but you blokes are so articulate, precise and well planned. I couldn't imagine how stressful this expedition would be
God fucking damn that intro song is perfect. Every time I hear it, I feel like I am travelling back in time. So much love for this series, it's fantastic.
Watching you guys from day dot, this is the first comment I’ve posted... incredible filming/editing/music. But by far the best bit of the whole thing is the opening credits!! Being a 80’s teenager, that music and those filters are a trip back to childhood. Thank you!!
That theme music makes we want to go out & do everything I never do but should. I could happily go for a freezing morning before sunrise jog in the rain if I could just listen to that on a loop on some headphones!
My response to that storm was to drive 500 miles to South Carolina with a friend to prepare the sailboat they had bought a week before it hit for the hurricane. I had never been on a sailboat before.
this has to be one of the best things MCM and the guys have ever done. I hate i have to wait a week to see more of it lol. but it is so awesome. Love Benny Al and Woody. bloody awesome
Wow, MCM this is amazing, the MCM family is amazing. Your hearts are in the right place, I love the growth of these channels it is so organic. Beloved personalities, great chemistry, amazing work ethic and skills. Keep it going and can't wait for more episodes and more series.
This is hands down the best production you guys have made yet. I could Watch these everyday! Woody, thanks for all the Hard work I'm sure it was Filming all this footage. I'm sure it was hard to not be like Al, the whole time attached to a cold beer! You Guys are legends! Cheers!
WooHoo, back again ! This is truly the best MCM has ever given us, for real. I'm gonna crack a can and enjoy this awesome show. Please keep it coming fellas, this is ACE mate...
You guys must still have some western european blood running through your veins; so well prepared. Very enjoyable to watch as a Dutchie. It only strengthens the feeling of needing to do Dragweek into a must do bucketlist item. Quality content!
that was a damn good run. you could even hear benny say "whoa" right after the launch. great hole-shot, the old bara has been proving itself to be as good as the legends say
"Don't you do 149" "Yeah, we'll be sweet" "Sweet, just send it." Turbo Yoda knows what's up. God Bless him and Benny and Woody. This series is something else, and I love it! :)
ahhhhh... Hurricane Florence. Here in Charleston SC it was the much-hyped storm that never was. A bit of rain and some wind. Nice video series btw, I'm enjoying it!
It's amazing how accurate Benny's estimates are as soon as he finishes a run. That's experience right there. Drag racing is my least favorite way of Motorsport, but I can't help to fully admire this team, the car, and all the others who committed to drag week, and even more so, finished it. It's amazing that cars that can do under 10 seconds, can do it consistently, on different tracks, and travelling miles and miles each day. Blows my mind.
Every drag week episode me and my mates all stop working on our cars and all squad around a laptop and a watch before we carry on more motivated. Thank you guys for all the motivation from all the lads at the shrews units.
I had a '69 Malibu way back when. Red with a black vinyl top. It didn't have two turbos sticking out of the hood (bonnet). Glad you guys had an epic adventure in the States. Good on ya.
This has been the best storyline since the build of the Double Unicorn. 👍 Woody smashed the filming out of the park this series.
Yes he did!
2019: double unicorn goes to drag week?
@@spdrcr1010 would definitely watch
Just thought the same. The filming, soundtrack, everything is just spot on. Also it does help to have the best and funniest dudes on youtube.
@@spdrcr1010 I would think it would be hard enough to find parts for that driveline in Australia/Japan let alone America!
Don’t you do 149?
Just send it bwhahahahahhaha funniest thing I’ve heard this year.
al is always good for a laugh
He was being serious though...
That was absolute Gold!
Fuckin' genius tbh.
Thanks for sharing this adventure, a bloody good series.
I'm really glad that MCM2 decided to make real edited episodes from Drag week. Like most people watching the series, I had drag week on all week in some kind of live or daily recap format.

Ewing Fox totally agree with all of this.
Very well put.
Well said, I actually held off watching this till the evening to give something to look forwards to and it didn't disappoint.
RT to this my friend!!
Awesome comment dude 🤟
awesome vid! it was great hanging out with Benny, Alan and the crew all week long. The Cresta is badass!
13:53 Al and his laid-back repartee does it again. when racing a hurricane.. "don't you do 149?.... just send it" LMFAO that's gold
I'm interested to know if the dude has ever raised his voice.
Love this attitude!
I wouldn't expect nothing less from turbo yoda
Moog nailed the intro music on this. The whole thing is great. I can't believe how the intro gets me in the right mindset for the episode.
Yeah, really digging the faux-Boards of Canada feel. Is Moog selling this track?
@no no rap???
@no no Exactly man. These videos are top-notch, but the music in most of the videos dont match or sound terrible.
@@xvandal24x
I disagree, you would probably prefer some rock music? That's just USA, where most people around Europe prefer Electronic music.
Lex Gso Yessir. I don't mind some rock or rap, I just prefer something upbeat. I had family from Australia over and they liked the kind of music we listen to, but everyone is different.
7:28 "I can't see any cows flying around so it's all good."
Old but gold
Mech Stiggy has an incredible butt/bum dyno. His ability to guess his ET within. 0.10 seconds in repeated videos is amazing. With all the crap going on and through your mind at that ET/trap speed makes it all the more impressive! Full send boys!
also knows his car, so that helps if you know what your machine is able to do
Its not really hard considering he knows for a fact the time will be between 9.2 and 10.0 (with terrible launch)
@@NjoyMoney We'll wait for your video to come out & compare.
Run a 9.29... immediately thank all of the team... fantastic humility shown from Benny, massive respect!!!
Moog music perfect ,Benny talks informative, ALS jokes effortless, Woody film and editing top notch to everyone involved in CRESTA DRAG courtesy of MCM2 thank you all

Love the intro music and theme. Digging the 80's vibe.
The amount of Volvos you guys keep showing is great. You guys need to build one!
Love this series 😍😍
Never had a car more powerful than a 2.0 turbo caddie, nothing like these sweet machines.
This series makes me smile for some reason.
Great job!
I just yelled "ya benny"when he hit 9.29 everyone just looked at me funny lol
Darn it this dragweek series is so awesome, definitely is one of MCM's top series ever!
I'm loving that you guys have done this massive adventure, not only with an Aussie power plant, but recorded the trip too!

This has been one of the coolest and most unique series I have seen from MCM. This car is running a 9.29 and isn't even hitting full boost yet 😲.
Skid factory and the Dragweek series have been the best thing on UA-cam by far. Even exceeding the content Marty and Moog release.
You blokes are killing it, this trip your normal episodes are amongst the best in the world atm..... your projects and general attitude are everything great about the Australian enthusiast sean,
Best series ever .... Very enjoyable to watch 👍👌
is it just me or is the music theme insane good as well as the content ❤️

You guys need to put out a coffee table book with just turbo yoda quotes
Chris B 😂
I can’t wait till this series is finished so I can go back to the start and binge watch it over again
hey bro, long time no see!
They should do a 2hr doco edit to sell to SBS.
"How fast is the hurricane moving?"
_" 'bout 140MPH"_
"The car does 149MPH, doesn't it? Just send it."
God fucking damn that intro song is perfect. Every time I hear it, I feel like I am travelling back in time. So much love for this series, it's fantastic.
Great series. Best intro MCM has ever done.
That cool air got you to 9.29 good work man I missed you guys when you came to the Carolina's.

Once again, thanks for taking us along. Always happy to see more of this series.

I had never been on a sailboat before.
they didnt cross the world to be scared of by some rainy boi
Good filming Woody. It's cool that you get rolling shots of all the random stuff you guys see along the way.
I know what happened at drag week but I love watching the videos to see your journey throughout drag week

It's funny seeing a drag car that goes 9.29 still having the cell phone charger plugged into the center console.
Love cresta, love you guys.

I f*cking love this series. Benny is just so genuine, Al and Woody are themselves which is awesome in itself.
This seems like an amazing event to volunteer for. Probably one of the best experiences you could probably have!
this is such a great series and the soundtrack is on point. great work guys.

I never get tired of saying that The music is always amazing.

I could watch hour long episodes of this. Hint hint. Fantastic series, I never want it to end.
I really hope you guy do it again next year. Love watching the trip.
I look forward to this every week. Will be sad when it's over.
So sad we have to wait another week for this to continue. Really like this series.
This has been a fantastic series so far. Keep up the good work.
Love this series! Glad to see the boys having a good time in the states
Currently the best series on UA-cam!!!
Keep these great videos coming. Thanks.
Drag week looks like the best thing ever.
You guys in the US are so lucky, we don't have any affordable power here in England.
Goes drag racing with an ashtray full of loose change?
This is such an awesome series. Not the biggest fan of drag racing but this series is next level cool!
I could watch this for hours and hours.
This is so good.
Love that intro and the music.
It's amazing how accurate Benny's estimates are as soon as he finishes a run. That's experience right there.

cool comment man. I keep watching these guys for motivation to get out and do more on my car too!
Awesome chapter. Although I'd love to see the storm I hope it misses you guys so you can carry on with the week's adventures!
"whereabout are we?"

Excellent as ALWAYS! You make great 👍 footage and SPEED! Maybe a ride along from FPPV ?
This intro gets me going every time. Moog!!! Fits perfect bro!

Love this series, the music is amazing as always!
Glad you guys got out of North Carolina when the hurricane came through. I live in North Carolina we got hammered pretty bad.
Bloody hell man ! That's pretty mad that you took the Cresta to the States.
Good work...
