I love that they're giving her more personality in Bayonetta 3. Look at her expression when her attacks weren't working.
Ikr, I love how demons are displayed as poweful but not invincible, since you have to be careful with them not taking too much damage.
@@salvadoresquivelnavarro8768 if we think about it, demons are prolly the same as in power level with angels. Since they are just opposite of each other. But the main reasons demons appear stronger is due to their pacts with witches granting both as we can see
@@jeshuarestituyo284 we also control the witches and demons, and barely seen much of how Lumen Sages fight with angels.
She always had personality 🤦♀️ and bayonetta 2 did it better than piece of trash bayo 3
@@idontsm0ke really. Name 1 time Madama B, interacted with Bayonetta like this?
Such nice new model. Her redesign nailed peak perfection.
But it's kinda strange, her name is Madama Butterfly but she's... A bat???
@@priscillaayusrirezeki6901 yeah i see your point, the color palette and pointy edges quite resembles more to a bat. It's kind of a tricky design since they probably needed to cut her dress and hide her wings for better visual orientation, wich inevitably leans 2 this result.
But i cant help myself, like this design way to much. She looks so fresh, the animations are super clean and satisfiying to look at. There is still some butterfly elements there and here, she is just dressed up as a demonic madame.
I am now curious if Jeanne's summons like Madama Styx will have diferent designs
@@Teybort I think Madama Styx will look very fancy 🥰
I still wish I could see Madama Khepri (Rosa's Madama) though :(
@@priscillaayusrirezeki6901 Well in Bayonetta 2's lore books it is explained that even Rosa herself cannot summon Madama Khepri in her entirety because she is too powerful, but I would've loved to see her entire model too because the design we've got from the lore books is badass.
@@math9172 It doesn't say that......
Madama Khepri couldn't be summoned because of time constraints so they didn't have a full model rendered for her
madama butterfly's punches look smooth in 3. also in some animation she does palm strikes instead of punching which is kinda classy
For the ones wondering why Bayonetta got a new incantation for Madama Butterfly, I have a pretty plausible theory, in my humble opinion! Due to Demon Slave's grammatical logic, where it uses "simpler" or synonymic words in comparison to the regular full summons, "pdi barma" sadly can't really be shortened since both words are names for two different demons.
With that said, the new chant, "ciaofi balzarg" which would mean something like "steward of terror" (a lot more fitting than some random demons), her Demon Slave summon is just "balzarg," aka "steward."
For the curious folk out there, Gomorrah's Demon Slave summon is "coraxo," which is a direct synonym to "avavago!"
Interesting, Thank you for the explanation 😁
So, what language is she actually using?
Enochian, if I'm not wrong
Pdi Barma means first elder if i remember correctly
You're right
The first lumen sage boss in bayonetta 2 will always be my favorite because it feels a lot more “heaven vs hell” to me for some reason lmao
Fun fact: Madama Butterfly was based on an opera with its namesake as its title. It about a Japanese woman named Madam Butterfly, who fall in love on American navy guy named Pinkerton and died because of her love.
what if according this her soul who went to Jahada (place in hell for those who committed suicide)and became a demon contrancted with Bayonetta to help her for hating the human race
@@ladycroftbayonetta7908 Probably not
More than likely, after she died, she went to the Johnson Forest region in Inferno and became a demon there.
If she hated humans, she wouldn't form a pact to help aid one and give her power 😂
This is why I headcannon that she sings mysterious destiny in the first game
And there isn't even mention of Madam Butterfly's ultimate form, Queen Butterfly.
Enemy literally has 1 hp.
Cereza: *Do et*
I love Madama Butterfly’s new design so much! But I am going to miss her *“PDEE BARMA!”* Summon.
EDIT - And I’ll also miss Helena Taylor voicing Bayonetta 😞. But I know that Jennifer Hale will do an AMAZING job.
EDIT - I hear Chalil Borma 😂
Bayonetta doesn't say Pdee Barma to summon Madama Butterfly in the third game?
@@user-paul34 Not that I’m aware of. I couldn’t hear her say it in the trailers but I could be wrong
@@user-paul34 it’s because Bayonetta had gotten so powerful she doesn’t need to say incantations to summon the demons
@@Gemini053 yeah she doesn’t chant anymore because she now has the demon slave ability
@@scarletsage6267 She does still have incantations, they've just changed the one to summon Butterfly.
Her new one sounds like she's saying "CALCRIE BORSA" or something like that
Edit: CIAOFI BALZARG
Bayonetta 1: only seen in cinematics.
Bayonetta 2: only seen in cinematics and controllable during Temperantia Boss Fight.
Bayonetta 3: can merge with her and fight as Madama Butterfly in normal battles (Hideki Kamiya knows what we want).
Actually in Bayonetta 1 she is not seen at all. Even the lore books only showcase her limbs but not herself entirely.
The only place you can see her in her entirety is in a concept art in the extras section of the game (went to check there), ans it's just a drawing, not a 3d model.
@@math9172 Actually she's summoned for a couple Umbran Climaxs during certain boss fights.
@@deathbykonami5487 There is no Umbran Climax in Bayonetta 1. I'm guessing you meant the "serious mode" that Bayo unleashes against cardinal virtues and Jubileus?
She never summons Madama Butterfly(in her entirety), it's only her limbs, you must be misremembering. Trust me I'm 99% sure and I even went to check in the game before posting my first reply, and the simple fact that in the 3D model gallery Madama Butterfly only appears as the wicked weaves while all the other summons appear in their full form proves it.
Bayonetta 2 is the first time she appears entirely in the story. Before that there is only a sketch in the concept art part of the bonuses of Bayonetta 1.
@@math9172 That still counts as summoning her ☠️
She just doesn't need her whole body there at that time
@@lepidlover0557 That... Was not my point.
You're a bit slow aren't you?
OP comment said "Bayonetta 1 : Only seen in cutscenes".
Which is absolutely false, we DON'T see Madama Butterfly in her entirety in any cutscene. And we do see her limbs, but we see them in basically every minute of gameplay, not only in cutscenes.
I never said "madama butterfly is not summoned in Bayonetta 1"
i love madama butterfly
😍
I’m excited for her new design and mechanics in bayonetta 3. The game looks so good!
@@umbruhhh yes its amazing
Same ❤️🦋
Ok but can we talk about the opening of this video from 0:00-0:21 the music, the strut and as the music drop starts demonstrating Madamas limbs and the taunt at the end ugh I'm srry but that was ❤️BEAUTIFUL❤️
thank you!
She's such a queen 😻
Anything for madama Butterfly 🦋✨
I like that you can see the demons in Bayonetta 3 like they have color and different forms
Did I just see Mistress Madama Butterfly 🦋 do a Rider Kick towards the end of the video 😦😱😍🔥👌!!!!!
Sad she no longer says Pdee Barma to summon Madama Butterfly.
Yeah it's a shame. 3 seems to have removed the Enochian language that was used in the previous two games. I'll chalk it up to "different universe Bayonetta" but I would guess its because the guy who did the translations doesn't work at Platinum anymore.
@@dedded101 Yea, I hoped it would also be an on purpose thing with different universes but then I remember she still says Avavago for Gomorrah
@RevivaOkami The thing is, though inconsistent, it seems that the chants for Demon Slave differ from regular Climax Summons; Bayo uses ‘Avavaago’ to summon Gommorah for Climax, but when using Demon Slave she says ‘Coronzon’(?) instead. Of course, we haven’t seen an instance of where she WOULD have Climax Summoned Madama Butterfly with the good ol’ ‘Pdee Varma’, but this is what I’ve observed so far!
@@dedded101 Not all is removed tho. It's not much, but she still says "AVAVAGO" to summon Gomorrah
Lol I thought she was saying "Crumble!" 😂😂 I find it a bit sad that we don't have clear lyrics of what Helena was saying when she was speaking Enochian
Nicely done, really looking forward to bayonetta 3 : D
Same! Replaying bayo 2 now :D
@@umbruhhh Just completed a new game on infinite climax myself!
Me too 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩. It’s gonna be phenomenal GOTY candidate
Little time for Bayonetta 3. It looks awesome.
Still can't believe they never gave her any speaking scenes
Actions speak louder than words 🤭🦋
it's a little weird that in 3, Bayonetta doesn't say Pdee Barma (or whatever it's spelled) when she summons madamma butterfly
Yeah she says something completely different.
it will be missed :(
Yup your spelling is correct
Your spelling of the chant is correct
Her powers evolved through the games and now she is so strong she can summon without the chant
They seem to be evolving for every game of Bayonetta 😂 in first game we can use Madama during wicked weave, in 2nd game we can see her during umbran climax, now in the 3rd game we can control them as they fight with us. Don't tell me we're gonna be able to play as Madama herself on the 4th game if there is 😂
I miss the original summon spells pedee barma shit was so iconic
I like Madama Butterfly she's my favorite demon
Madama butterfly is the best partner in bayonetta. They should make it to where you can summon her. A once you summon her. She can fight on her own alongside you
There's an accessory for that in the 3rd game
@@lepidlover0557What is it called?
Even the summon for her is a different incantation in the third game.
Wow 8 years we had to wait
I love Madama Butterfly
I love this video
My got bayonetta 3 looking amazing tbh
Mommy Butterfly
Do this again but include Queen Butterfly
I never realized we never saw Madame Butterfly face in Bayonetta 1 except for her hands and legs only
Plus her wings and shadow
First Bayonetta originally came on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in 2009 !
2:41 seems like Madama Butterfly lost her wings making her name a little absurd.
Madama Butterfly also doesn’t have wings in 2 (when she was summoned to headbut the meteor) unless she magically conjure them (in the balder fight)
They aren't always manifested on her back. She can make them appear or go away whenever she pleases
Yeah but when you control her and you jump you can actually male her wings appear by gliding
Awesome compilation! I gotta ask, though, where is the first clip for Bayonetta 3 from?! It's not from any of the main trailers!
I believe it was from a 10 minute gameplay preview from the channel "Daily Nintendo" :)
@@umbruhhh Ah, thank you! Funnily enough, did some sleuthing on UA-cam and JUST NOW I found a version of it but with talking over it by Game Informer! Thank you, I was going insane trying to find the version without speaking!
@@HeartOfClod that's how I felt trying to cobble the Bayo 3 segment together lol. Glad you enjoyed it :D
She's beautiful.
She's elegant.
But do do not come for her for she can take you to the streets.
Madama Butterfly had way more sexappeal in her few cutscenes than the Bayo we played as in entirery of 3rd game
She stole Bayo's sexiness 😂
I wander if they gonna do an origin madam butterfly
Bayo 3 SOON :D
Just two more weeks 🎉🎉🎉🎉. It’s gonna be here sooner than you think
Ahh I can’t wait. I just want to try viola already
@@umbruhhh I wanna try both bayo and viola. They both looking awesome and to me the game is gonna be really long with all the multiverse stuff
Tomorrow is Mine was such a banger. Wish they had brought it back for 3.
Did any one notice, Madama Butterfly looks a little like Daniella Biscutti in Bayo 3?
Madame butterfly.
I like bayonetta 3s madams butterfly because she doesn’t have the hair around her and her headpiece is more crystal looking instead of natural
I’m assuming the Madama Butterfly we’re seeing in Bayo 3 is a variant.
nope, its the same, but without the hair
@@killrama2222 not really, she dont have that golden thing on her head, no butterfly on her hands, and different clothes
@@imamagicalpotato the clothes were part of the hair
@@killrama2222 yeah surely
@@imamagicalpotato after finishing bayonetta 3, i need to say, i was wrong
Bayo 2 madam butterfly was her peek in my opinion
She is a demon but a elegant one. In bayo 3 her design is modernized and she acts like a stereotypical humanoid demon
Lies
@@amiwolf1017 no she literally is that’s why it’s so fun playing around with her on demon slave mode. The og madam butterfly needs authority (u to be actually important enough) for her to show up
@@sintia12c She made a pact with Bayonetta and agreed to being summoned whenever needed, regardless of the reason.
I'm actually curious why she did not break the Inferno contract?
Because she's Bayonetta's most loyal demon and the source of most of her power.
Madama Butterfly is based on the story of a woman who killed herself because the man she was in love with, did not love her back or value her and got with another person instead, so it would make sense why LOYALTY would be her best trait
And every time she's summoned, you can actually tell she has fun being called upon to aid Bayonetta and destroy her enemies.
In the 3rd game's description, it's confirmed that Bayo and Butterfly genuinely like each other and are friends .
I really hope bayo 3 has a photomode
pretty sure it does! :D
Is already confirmed that will have a photo mode
bayonetta 2009 is also on pc
By any chance, does anyone know what history Madama Butterfly had with Alraune? In the 2nd game it's just announced by Alruane that she hates Madama Butterfly but didn't say why, might be in the extras but I haven't found anything unless I'm just missing that info entirely. If someone could let me know why they have beef, I would love to hear
Personally I like Bayonetta 2s music the best
Are you planning on do Gomorrah evolution
I might do one for Gomorrah and other summons! Not sure yet! I have a lot of videos planned for once Bayonetta 3 is out :)

Maybe it’s just the city but 3 seems so much less colourful than 2 was
Maybe you've been avoiding other trailers to not be spoiled too much, but a lot more environments have been shown in them, and they are much more colorful and less "gray".
But I do agree that 2 had some insanely beautiful and vibrant color schemes.
The city will probably only be 1 (or 2) levels.
2 is the best looking, third one looks like a bat.
In my opinion, it is a bit sad that the original, original character of Madama Butterfly disappears in the third part. Where is the hair, where is this effect? 👀
Madama Butterfly's character remains the same. The only difference is that she is more vocal now
They just took away the hair being wrapped around the summons so that the switch can process the models easier and the fans can appreciate the demons' new designs better.
Did she just insulted madama butterfly because she can't finish those enemies?
That wasn't an insult, it was an observation.....
That's why the best Bayonetta will always be the one from Playstation, it stopped being the same when it went to Nintendo with its censorship.
Yh but you got to rate her dancing on bayo 3 when madam butterfly is fighting
Not a fan of Bayo 2 or 3 but seeing her play cheerleader for her Kaijus does put a smile on my face.
Bayo 3 isn't even out yet...
@@Elegies22 yep and I don't like it, Hideki Kamiya ain't involved at all (just like Bayo 2), it's button-mash friendly which is bad, and there are extended trailers that show-off everything. So you were saying?
How do you know its button mash friendly??? Not like you couldn't do that in Bayo 1 too
And the trailer has hardly shown the entire game
I guess ppl don't understand what a trailer is, it's a preview of what you're going to be doing. All you have to do is watch the gameplay trailer to see what you'll be doing the entire game. I swear being a consumer requires brain rot🙄
@@melancholyman369 er, he was very much involved in 2(and 3), he was the producer, so everything has to be approved by him
