Brush Clearing with a Bad Boy Maverick

- I took the Bad Boy Maverick over to a small piece of property and got to work clearing the area around the pond. There was a lot of tall grass, briars, and small brush that I was able to mow over with the Maverick. The Copperhead blades ate everything I could throw at them. Brush clearing is definitely not recommended with a zero turn mower, but it is possible. Click the thumbs up and subscribe!

I have a Maverick, had a Magnum last year, ran it like a 560 Farmall.
They are tough for sure!

Had my Maverick for a while now. Ive cleared brush with it a lot. Cuts like a brush hog. Burriwd the rear wheel in a boggy area and lost it into a ditch a couple of times. Had my wife pull me out with out tractor. We regularly mow our 8 open acres with it. Does a great job and cits it fast. Our property is hilly so i fabed up a wheelie bar to fit the hitch socket. It saved me a couple of times when the ROPS caught tree branches
They can definitely take a beating. I have some other trails that need clearing but they are in a river bottom and I’m scared ti get the mower stuck down there. No tractor to rescue me.
I've learned my lesson. Keep it out of soft ground. It will bury itself real quick..
I have a ZT Elite and did the same this. Brush to 4' and Saplings to about 2". I ALMOST bought a Brush Hog, but Sharpened Blades and had at it.. Thanks for the Video
Yeah these mowers do surprisingly well in brush like that. Not saying it’s a great idea, but impressive none the less.
