      @colinmorsink9685 Рік тому +36

      Well, I have watched several documentaries and he very well might be innocent! Any family where de patriarch is called 'Big Daddy' and the son abuses his sister has some very dangerous skeletons in their closet! In one of the documentaries it was stated that Big Daddy made sure (even made a schedule) that the whole courtroom was filled with 'his' people. The handwriting was confirmed by one specialist but rebutted by another one, the one from Big Daddy! The company CEO that sold the arsenic poison was a joke, "I only write my invoices by hand" and "This invoice is fake"...Which company writes invoices by hand since the 80'ties, really? To me it seems that the family had a very big skeleton (the abusive, alcoholic and drug addict son!) and had the money, power, connections to make it so the husband did it as he was no family after all!!

      @@colinmorsink9685 My god there are so many problems with your statement that it borders on conspiracy theory. The forensic document examiner was brought in by the prosecution (Hartford Kittle) and the "diary" was absolutely a forgery. And what does the co. (it's not an "arsenic" company but rather a co. that buys carpet pad and furniture foam scraps to make chemicals, NOT arsenic) writing their invoices on a handwritten invoice have anything to do with some big conspiracy of the brother and the family poisoning Nancy?? It was proven that Richard not only obtained the arsenic as he had it sent to a PO Box that belonged to him on the fake invoice where he forged Nancy's name as the purchaser, he moved in with Nancy during the last two weeks the poisoning was highest in her bloodstream causing her death. Nancy also told her doctor (who testified) that she became sick after Richard gave her a drink at the movies that had white powder in it and that he was giving her pills that he said were "vitamins" and she would become sick and stopped taking them. Forensics retrieved ALL pills in her house and found two with barium carbonate. Do yourself a favor and read the actual court transcripts. Forensic Files even made a document on the case. Richard Lyons is exactly where he needs to be. I just hope the family doesn't read comments like yours. It's inexcusable.

      Generally no. But I think she was so messed up that she could have done this. The sicker she got the more attention she would finally have gotten from her family (who completely ignored her abuse by her brother), and her husband came back and looked after her. A horrible way to go, but it would have fulfilled a purpose. Then on top of it, she got to have her revenge against her husband (and the incest and her father’s attitude towards her all came out). Mission accomplished.

      @@wendischofield352 This is why there tends to be a double standard about adultery. Men can compartmentalize sex and make it totally separate from love or even emotion. It can be basically recreational. So they can still love their wife and family but separate their fun and games on the side. Women are generally different and usually sexual relations are entered into only when they are emotionally involved as well. So a women's infidelity would be a sign of an even more dysfunctional marriage than when a man does it. Of course from a Christian perspective ANY adultery is sin. I am just pointing out that men and women have some basic differences in how they think. Some wives even have the attitude that "when the bull goes over to the next field, it just gives the cow a chance to get a rest!" Men would never have such a casual attitude like that about their wife. In most Latin countries married men with a mistress is just par for the course. I am not condoning it because I believe what the word of God teaches about it being sin.

    Richard Thomas played some bad ass characters after the Walton's! He must have wanted to play the bad guy after years of a good guy! 😅
