- Clancy Miller (Christina Fougnie) is an abused 12 year-old who runs away to escape social workers who threaten to take her from her drug-addicted mother. Out on the streets, she meets up with Nick (Jefferson Moore), an ill-tempered, homeless vet. A plot concocted by a corrupt mayor throws the two lives into turmoil as they are forced to rely on one another, forming an unlikely bond in the process.

The girl saw a father in Nick. Nick saw a daughter in Clancy. What a gentleman Nick is in the story. Wish every stranger treats small helpless girl like this.

I watched hard-core men with opioid additions that were so affected by this movie when it was played at the methadone clinic.. They ran outta the room all choked up... Good flick that can reach the hearts of the lost..
Touching movie. A little child will lead them. I cried while watching this movie.

@Geree Rowe if you notice the emphasis is on the word RATHER in verse 8. Paul is simply saying that he would like to be with the LORD now instead of continuing to live on this planet.
Verse 8 also goes along with Philippines 1:20-24, which says: According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be maginified in my body, whether it be by life, or death.
For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
This has nothing to do with when you die you go straight to heaven. If you notice before you even get into the kingdom of God, in verse 10 of 2 Corinthians it says that must all appear before the judgment seat to give an account for what we have done while alive on this planet.
Before Jesus came to planet earth, there Elijah who went to heaven without seeing death, Moses was raised from the dead and God took him to heaven. The Bible also speaks of graves opening durning the earthquake of those who died in Christ during his death on the cross and who ascended into heaven when Jesus ascended into heaven. These were the firstfruits who believed and lived by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of GOD.

Oh my!! I've experienced every feeling God gave us to feel, just in watching this movie. The actors that played Clancy and Nick should get Academy Awards. They were amazing. I ended up wiping my tears as it ended. I hope everyone watches this. God blesses us all and is always here for us.

Doing pills is always real bad. The fact that you're justifying the behavior and making light of it is awful. You have a responsibility to protect those kids and you're not. You have no idea what they're really going through. Why isn't anyone doing anything for those kids? 😥💔 You're enabling the parents to use pills.
Unfortunately the truth sad truth is you only ever see %10 of what goes on in other people's houses even our families. It would honestly be in your grandkids best interest to go get them.
I have been binge watching Jefferson Moore’s movies this weekend. I was touched to tears by some scenes, and I have to say all of the movies are informative and inspiring, and all the actors’ performances in the movies are mind blowing. These are the movies this world needs, not the so-called Hollywood blockbusters. May God bless these movies and let them reach more viewers hearts. May God remember the good work every one has put into the movies, particularly Mr. Jefferson Moore! Thank you!!! And God bless you!!!❤️
Alvy I started watching Jefferson when he first came out and for some reason, I lost track. I watch movies with my Sister and we text back & forth different comments etc about what we're watching. I came across him again & was very happy & I too for the last couple of days have been binge-watching him. I told a couple of Church members about him & sent the link to his movie. I going to d/l them & binge-watch them on my TV. Currently, I'm watching via UA-cam. I couldn't wait to get home today to pick up where I'd left off. I'm proud of this lil one's attitude. Even though it's a movie her attitude is believable because she's a young child. Everything she's said has been taught by Jesus & it's too bad adults don't listen to children more than they currently do. I"m at a loss though because I've seen her in something else but just can't put my finger on it. Maybe soon but till then I've another great movie to watch.... Clancy 1&2 :)

I'm with you! Whenever I need something uplifting I watch Jeffersin Moore's Perfect Stranger Series, The Perfect Gift trilogy he did and Clancy and Clancy Once again. So very well written, acted and produced . I don't watch any TV anymore, just garbage and filth on it . I so wish Jefferson Moore would do more, it's been several years .....too long, the word I d needs his Gospel inspired writing again!
I was in tears watching this movie..
I thought I had seen some great Christian movies, but Jefferson Moore makes the best ones out there anywhere. He knows how to write a touching story and turn it into an inspiring, memorable film. I have just discovered his movies and all I can say is I wish that I had found them years ago. I am glad to have discovered them now and be inspired and blessed by them.

What a beautiful movie. I just was wishing that the nurse made a mistake and said that she had passed. When Nick came home and called for his dog that Clancy it would have came from behind door. Like how Nick and policeman friendship. Thank God for the love that was shown. 2-16-22

A very touching movie and a great way to share God's word. The ending was sad, but Nick straightens up his life and then took in the word of God .
The mother is so angry and mean to her daughter. I love the daughter ❤️

I normally DO read comments before watching a movie but was very glad I didn't this time... it was important to the impact of the movie for me NOT to know vital details of how it would resolve.
I loved this film... heartfelt, beautiful, insightful, impactful, & inspirational. Also a reminder not to judge... we do not know other people's lives or what may have brought them to the place & circumstance where they are; it could just as easily be us if we'd been dealt the same cards. "There but for the grace of God go I."
What a phenomenally talented actress that little girl, Christina Fougnie was (she's grown now)... so many lines to remember & everything she did was flawless, smooth, & believable... very impressive! Also, 48 hours ago I'd never heard of Jefferson Moore, but I have now watched three of his movies & he rocks! So much talent in all aspects of his work & such a beautiful heart for God & for sharing Him with others. Thank you so much, sir!

My god that was moving i ve had tears in my eyes and couldn't stop its heart touching. This girl was like a gift given to this man she leads him to be in a safe haven. He will never be the same miserable soul again she lightened him.
Eh.. a gift and a burden. She came into his life and then crushed his heart when she died, more than it already was crushed before he met her.
Great movie but extremely sad.

She was a vessel used by God.

God (Jehovah) watches overs us even when we don't know what he is doing. I enjoyed this movie. Makes me think about my situation. I'm reminded to thank God (Jehovah) for being free from the enemy. Thank Jehovah for answering all my prayers and winning me the victory.

Funny thing, I couldn't sleep at 1am, went in to watch TV and saw this awesome movie on POSITIV channel!! I did not know anything about either of these actors, but I do now!! Plus Jefferson Moore directed it! I read somewhere his director style is inspired by Clint Eastwood❤

A great movie...what kindness and love can do, how war destroys, kill and break people. There must be so many Nicks out there. This movie also shows how power can become a very dangerous weapon, corrupts the mind, heartless.
I would have preferred a different ending but I guess the director wanted to give a message...be prepared for whatever happens.

I love the story of this film, Clancy's extraordinary life story about knowing God and the Lord Jesus well. The beautiful Clancy; lived in discomfort but was very precious to the glory of the kingdom of heaven. I had tears in my eyes as Clancy shared her self-made illustrated story about the immense love of God and the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus, then her prayers during a birthday celebration with Nick in a rickety wooden house. This beautiful testimony brought a change to Nick's life.
Clancy had gone to live with Jesus, engraved on the tombstone.
Gods plan for this little girl to share the Gospel to someone who needed hope is just beautiful. All honor and glory to the Lord! Thank you Jesus!💜✝️💜

So sad for a child to hear all that, how because of her she can't live, and now the child must be the parent, what a shame
Great movie, it brought me to tears, especially when Clancy died. Nick was supposed to be the one to rescue and take care of Clancy, but actually Clancy rescued Nick, telling him about God's love. Very inspirational movie. Jefferson Moore writes great stories. I've binged watched his movies today and shared them with my family. God bless everyone involved in making this movie. God bless all that watched it.

WOW!! An EXCELLENT movie with a different take on Christianity!! Nobody gets miraculously saved, but yet the seed is planted in fertile soil, and WILL grow!!! Thanks guys, LOVED IT!!
Fantastic film. Theme, actors, stenography,back grounds, sound, how ever the end is about real life; makes the film more interesting. Child abuse from a mother who has emotional, mental and drugs problems as well. So, the gird doesn’t deserve that insane relative. I am really impress with this unexpected gorgeous film.
