Mahalo for watching our Ritz-Carlton tour! Check out our other videos on places to stay in Waikiki, for all different budgets. Our itineraries are the best on the islands! Check them out here: thehawaiivacationguide.com/oahu
Anyone watching trying to figure out their first trip to Hawaii Trust this channel!! Thank you so much Jordan and Erica for all your videos. Planned my entire trip to Maui based off your videos and it paid off big time from the itinerary’s to the recommendation on rentals/ activities everything has been so much easier and cost efficient using the advise I’ve learned from all your videos. My honeymoon ran so smooth with the help of your videos. Thanks for everything!!
Mahalo Anthony for the comment!! Erica and I are happy your honeymoon went so well. A great way to start the marriage with an epic trip to Hawaii. Come back for the 1 year anniversary!
I always enjoy your videos. I stumbled onto this one and was happy to see your smiling face when the video opened! We’re considering going there for a couple days in May so I appreciate the review!
When did you go? Did the Ritz give you the plush lion as a gift? What tower and floor were you on? Awesome tour you guys have done! We stayed there, had 1bedroom 2bed suite! We would definitely go back there and also stay at Hilton Hawaiian village too!! Very, very nice vid!! No one ever did this RC
Thanks for the comment! We stayed in the tower closer to Diamond Head, above the kids pool. The Ritz gave the lion to Henry as a gift and he loved it. We still have it (good marketing). The Ritz was a fun and luxurious place to stay!
hey! if you were planning on staying in hawaii a little more long term (~6-ish months) where would you recommend staying? Hotels would be a little expensive for that length of time. Also, how do you avoid centipedes and spider in your airbnb? What do you look for in one? Thank you!
look on craiglist or property management sites for long term rentals. long term starts at over 6 months. Spiders are rare and leave doors shut for centipedes. Most places have pest control measures. see our website for vaca rental info: thehawaiivacationguide.com/category/planning/where-to-stay/
Hi! You mention in your video that you stayed in their smallest room, but I see that the room had a sliding partition. Was it actually a suite instead? Thanks!
You can see the room we stayed at The Hale Koa in 2019 from your deck.......I know I've asked before.....a return look at the "New" Turtle Bay coming soon?
Do you guys have any tips for the best way to inter-island travel while on vacation? I would love to visit more than one island, but I don't want to lose an entire vacation day spent at the airport, checking in/out of hotel rooms, returning/picking-up car rentals. If you think it is a topic worth making a video of, it would be greatly appreciated! Mahalo! 😎🤙
that is a great idea for a video! Added to our list. You are right, it is 5-hour journey for a 20-minute flight. We treat them as full travel days. They are worth it if staying over a week, in my opinion.
Stayed there this past May, there was no lion on my bed. I was actually a little disappointed. The furniture was kind of dated, as a matter of fact the table was broken and there was a stain on the floor. Bathroom is the nicest part but my bidet didn't work. I didn't see those chairs in the pool. The best part was the view of the beach which is about a 10 minute walk. Also luxury row which had great shopping. Staff was very attentive. Wish it was a bit closer to beach but it's doable. No shuttles were running so that sucked and uber were expensive. I was lucky I booked before the rush back so my plane ticket was super cheap and my room cheaper than what it is now.

I'm glad you found it! We enjoyed that stay. It was so quiet as the islands hadn't opened up yet during COVID. Have a great stay!

It was not! They are residences so all good sized rooms. The divider was a nice touch for the sleeper sofa.
The Pacific Monarch has its pool at the very top floor...??

no plans yet for going back to Turtle Bay but hopefully in the fall. Dreaming that they will return our emails and give us a discount for a room.
