HEY HOW R U
Are you guys Hawaiian?
First time there soon with the family, I don’t get tired of all your videos, soon I have to start doing reservations for tours, Pearl Harbor etc... butterflies in my stomach just to think about it.
Hawaii is one of those destinations you dream about it thinking you’ll never be there😅, plus first time for my 11 years old daughter to travel by plane and my 1 year old. Leaving the cold weather of Wisconsin for Hawaii is going to be epic.
Have a wonderful trip for the first time! Enjoy the long flight and the warm weather!
I’ve been watching your videos to prepare for our upcoming trip in May. Can you do a quick updates of the island? As far as increasing tourists, what’s open, how to handle reservations, cars and everything we need to know comes May! Love the little guy!!
The number of likes you got means we need to do an update! We will get it done in the next week or so. Also, we share open updates and Hawaii travel tips on our bi-weekly newsletter. If you are interested, you can sign up here! thehawaiivacationguide.com/openupdates/
Great video! We are heading over in June to stay in Maui and have booked a flight to tour Pearl Harbor. We will be spending the entire day on the island (7:00 am-7:00 pm) After our Pearl Harbor tour I was wondering what else would be great to do for the remainder of our day. This is helpful, thank you. Also, are you aware of any covid testing requirements flying from Maui to Oahu? Thank you!!
Right there with you, we're going in a week. We can not wait !!!
How was your trip!!?
I’m going in may as well!!
I'm finally going to get serious to plan for a vacay to Hawaii next Spring/Summer. If it weren't for the pandemic, I would've gone there already. Thanks for sharing!
We just came back from our 13 day vacation to Oahu the Big Island. We have continuously watched your videos, purchased your guides, etc. All of your information made our planning so easy.
Thanks so much for watching and grabbing the guides! It is great to hear that we helped with your planning. That is what we strive for! Mahalo
Kayaking to the Mokes is so much fun and so peaceful.
Can’t WAIT to visit for the 3rd time. What a great vacation! Not many people know how beautiful it is.
I've been watching these videos because my husband and I have been considering moving to Hawaii since some of our family lives there now. These videos have been super helpful and informative! 😁👍🏻🌴🌅✨
Brings back so many memories, I LOVE IT!!
I love you guys and your videos! I live in Oahu for 38 years and you inspire me to get out more and explore all the islands
Thanks so much! That means a lot from a local resident. Have fun exploring!
Kuhio Park Terrace is a must see! #1 on top places to visit on Oahu.
If you like hiking, Oahu is also amazing. There are dozens of trails with waterfalls, craters or ridges.
Thanks for sharing the tip! Fully agree, O'ahu is the best Hawaiian island for hiking.
Thanks again for the extremely informative tips. We’ve been to the islands many times over the years, but your videos never fail to show us something we didn’t know or some other cool place to hang out. We also always get a big kick out of watching young Mr. Henry enjoy himself. That kid is way too cute and manages to upstage his mom and dad quite a bit whether they know it or not.
This is great! I’m so excited to visit Oahu for the first time this July!
We were in Hawaii for the spring break recently and have to tell you your vlogs were really helpful to plan things ! Keep them coming...
Thanks for watching them and glad to hear they helped!
Im going in April 2022! So this was so good for me to see! I’ll def. show my parents!
We are not at Hawaii yet but I’ve been watching your shows since we were waiting I watch your shows over and over the last one I think is this one I love watching your shows😊 :)
Our wedding is in a couple of weeks at Waimea Valley.
We’ve been sharing all your videos with our family so they get excited about all the activities we’ll be doing.
Thank YOU for sharing!!❤️

I’m going to Oahu for my birthday next month and also to visit family. This is my first time being in Hawaii and I’m super excited!!
Heading there the end of May!! Thank you for the great ideas on things to do!! North shore is my favorite place... I also love the windward side of the island and will be staying near Kailua/Kaneohe!! :)
So glad I stumbled across your videos. I am headed to Oahu at the end of the month (first time visiting Hawaii) and so appreciate some fun ideas for the week!
Glad to hear it! have a great trip!
This is an amazing video. Must for every traveler
That was a very good job. Thanks!
I can't believe you didn't include the Polynesian Cultural Center. This was a highlight of our trip!
It will be in our sequel video! thanks for watching
Checking out this video just to get a glimpse if I ever get the chance to be stationed there. Fingers crossed!🤞🏽
Hope to become apart of the 25th Infantry Division🇺🇸
You guys have me so excited! 😂
Great video! Lived on Oahu as a kid for 3 years while father was in the Navy and didn't get to see 90% of this stuff.
Now as an adult 30 plus years later, the wife and I will be visiting in December and cannot wait!
have a wonderful trip exploring the island! glad you can make it back
I’m at Honolulu right now for a month and I cant wait to explore 🌴🌺🤙

Thanks for watching!
I’m going in late July and this video helped so much !!! Didn’t even know the Jurassic Park movie was filmed there 😲 You video helped me know what to do when being there
have a great trip in July. So many movies have been filmed here!
I have been wanting to go to Hawaii for years like most people. I am finaly getting closer to that goal ❤ planning on this island for sure. I have to go see all the pineapples!
Very nice video, once again guys! The rain in some of your footage gave me an idea for a potential video. "Things to do on Oahu/Maui when it rains". I've seen hundreds of Hawaii videos, but I don't think I have ever seen one focused on what to do when it rains. Mahalo for the excellent job you did on this one!
haha, we have that one in our plan! We had a lot of rain during our last O'ahu trip so we had plenty of opportunities for rainy day things to do!
Im going to hawaii this summer for the first time! I like in Hong Kong so I need to plan early ahhaha
have a great trip and enjoy the planning!
You guys have been so helpful. My fiancée and I are going on the 12th to the 20th and I’ve been watching your videos for almost a month now 😂
thanks for watching! You will be here in no time.
Lots of great recommendations. I think at least 2 must dos are missing though. Polynesian Cultural Center and Hanauma Bay.
Yaaa!!! Gonna be going soon
have a great trip!
We were just there and loved the recommendations! Lanikai Beach was our absolute favorite by far!
I'm so happy to found this channel! We're planning our trip for September (it's June now) and I greatly appreciate all the tips and resources you shared! How long was this trip you showed? We're only there for a week and I don't think we'll be able to do everything on the list, so I want to have a realistic expectation of how much can be done over a short course in time. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching. We live in Hawaii so we visit Oahu frequently. Eight days is a common stay length. You can see a lot. We have itineraries (free and $27 ones) on our website that will help you out lan.
I really enjoyed watching this! We have been to all of the islands over the years, and this video brings back lots of memories. Do you have similar videos of Kauai and Maui? Our last visit to Hawaii but just before the pandemic started last year, 2020....now we are so anxious to get back to any of the islands, we are fully vaccinated, just watching the news to see when we will feel safe traveling again.
here is our 21 Things to Do on Maui video: ua-cam.com/video/L9TotD-MC4E/v-deo.html We were just talking yesterday on doing the Kauai one from our July 2020 trip footage but it deserves another trip back.
I believe its called the USS Bowfin instead of Bowfish. Greatideas and tips on where to go plus details on what to expect. Lanikai does have parking especially near the right side of the beach. You can also go paddleboarding inward to the enchanted lake
Thanks for the correction on the USS Bowfin! Thanks for watching
Whoa this guy’s voice changes. In their 21 Things To Do In Maui video he sounds just like Roman Balkanov on UA-cam. In this video he sounds just like Chip Gaines of Fixer Upper. That’s cool!
Awesome video
Thanks!
多麼美麗的錄像帶 隨處享受旅行
We’re going in the summer of august I’m trying to educate myself as much as I can
you are doing it right as there is a lot of great content on Oahu and Hawaii on UA-cam so enjoy the videos! Check out our website too for information: thehawaiivacationguide.com/
That was great, trying to decide between Oahu and Kauai . Ugh. Big decision
Best of luck! We have playlists for both islands. See what speaks to you the most!
Cuteness overload
You have a beautiful family
Thank you for sharing your adventures and tips with us
We'll be there next month and we'll be downloading your guides and itineraries
Thanks so much for watching and the comment! Let us know if you have questions on the itineraries!
Hi. Thank you for making this video. Interesting, beautiful, not boring, but mostly: VERY HELPFUL! Selforganizing other travel keeps more weeks for me, you help a lot, in 15 minutes. :) I miss only one thing. Telling how long was your journey. Or just displaying "day 1, day 2". As I see, you captured the video by taking really a circular journey. Right? Big thanks again! Peter
Thanks for watching Pettt! This video is a list, not an itinerary. We did these 21 and more in multiple days over a few trips. We are showing our favorites based on location on the island. Watch our other videos for more things to do and see our website for itineraries. Have a great trip!
It would be helpful if you did a more strategic video about good places to park especially for public beach access at the resorts. Do walk from really far away? I'd be interested in getting some logistical tips that go along with these highlights because I'm sure a lot of people watching (like myself) have no experience with any of it.
Thanks for the tip! I believe you are referring to Ko Olina Resorts. Watch our Ko Olina Guide video for details on parking: ua-cam.com/video/YAjEDdMBgAM/v-deo.html. We also share the details like parking in our $27 itineraries as we know how important it is to know the logistics and be comfortable exploring an island: thehawaiivacationguide.com/hawaii-recommendations/best-hawaii-itineraries/
Sub'd. Great job
Thank you!
We love and appreciate your Hawaii videos. On this video which tour did you take at Kualoa Ranch with the Jurassic World stuff? Thank you 😊
The Jeep Expedition tour. See our Windward Oahu blog for more details.
I've been to Oahu a handful of times and still didn't know about some of these places! A really great compilation you've put together! 🍍🍕
thanks so much!
great video going to Oahu Aug 16-24 - in 2024. your videos have helped. do you still live in Maui I thought you mentioned that in one of your videos
We no longer live on Maui. Headed back to the mainland to be closer to family but we go back to Hawaii numerous times a year.
Great video!!! We miss Hawaii so much that we resort watching videos like this and try to go there every year!!! We choose to stay around Kaneohe and love it.
Thanks for watching! Enjoy your next trip here soon!
I’ve been watching all your oahu videos to prepare for our trip in June. I’ve been told to go to the sandbar can you make a video on that please???
Just came bck loved it the only thing that sucked was my drone wasn't working
bummer about the drone! i know that feeling.
You guys are the sweetest and I love your videos. Only thing, I was disappointed seeing your comment about 'Iolani Palace being the only palace in America. That's because Hawaii was it's own kingdom with Queen Lili'uokalani reigning until the illegal overthrow from America. Though "officially" Hawaii is a state of America, it really isn't. Just helping with some history for those who don't know this.
The illegal overthrow and the resulting decision to make into a territory was a dark time in Hawaiian history. President Clinton apologized 100 years later. Thanks for mentioning this. We have it on our about page on our website too.
Great video! It's exactly what my husband and I needed to plan our trip later this month! I'm glad that all of the places you featured are kid/family friendly, because we always worry that our two young children will enjoy themselves as well.
Do you recommend a particular car rental company to get around the island? Thank you in advance!
thanks for watching! We share a discount booking site and local car rental companies here: thehawaiivacationguide.com/rental-car/
Thank you so much for your videos! my friends and I are planning a trip to visit some of the islands in June (we will be vaccinated) -- currently can't pick which two islands to go to for about 9 days -- out of the big island, oahu, and maui-- half of us don't swim so we will be doing less water activities-- but a lot of exploring and hopefully eat good food! recommendations on which two islands would highly be appreciated!!
Have the group watch this video ua-cam.com/video/niOXH1AgJ2s/v-deo.html and this video ua-cam.com/video/2mIYF41vnhw/v-deo.html. We always recommend Maui for your first island! But if less swimming, perhaps Oahu's nightlife and restaurants would be better for you all.
Since you cover a good foodie location. Yogur Story and UBAE cant be a miss!
thanks for sharing!
Thank you for your review
I got back from Oahu a day ago and for the surfing I was only able to stand up and brace twice and I have never surfed without lessons.
Nice job! Time to come back and keep practicing
We need probably a week for doing all that activity but I only go for 4 days hahaha
I missed Oahu Waikki beach....so much. I'm came there with my sisters and mom last November of 2019....We mostly rides Uber and rental car for two day only. Just Wonder since the covid19 restriction is there still uber driver. I'm want to be back for a visit again with my kids and husband.
I agree. Waikiki has its haters but I love it. Know what to expect and enjoy the wonderful beach and great location. Uber and Lyft are still operating. Waikiki rental car shops are open too
Hello! I’ll be taking a trip to Hawaii really soon, and I was wondering if you have any places you would recommend that can take you swimming with sharks?
