Assalamualaikum akhi, there is a topic that I have not seen most people talk about, and that is hobbies and skills that Muslim men need to learn. This is an important topic I feel, since there is somewhat of a lack of fathers teaching their sons practical life skills that would help them acheive more in life. I myself have found it difficult to find a definitive skill set that us as Muslims should have, and so I kindly ask that you make a video specifically catered towards the Muslim men who have an absence of practical skills and hobbies that are in line with Islam, if possible of course. Jazakallah akhi, in sha allah you have a blessed day.

Assalamualaikum brother I have been very lazy for the past couple months but wanted to start doing all the workout routines you mentioned as thankfully I have equipment available but I wanted to ask as I also have started boxing recently if it clashed with days of exercises will that make an adverse effect happen as I don’t want to go overboard would you have any tips on how I can balance boxing and gym as for me to progress even in boxing I have to go atleast 3-4 days a week so some days will clash with the training and I’d rather not do both and have bad results rather I’d do one but I really want to do both boxing and training I just wanted to have your thoughts if possible brother Jazakallah
Wa alaykum Salam I think boxing is great there is a possible way to train both however depending on your priorities it seems you want boxing more. When I did this last year I did have to be careful cause just one bad week with one less rest day destroyed my sessions in the week so i’d say maybe a 2 days split upper and lower body or even bc your doing boxing you don’t need to do leg day I says pick a time in the schedule where you have 2 days to recover that’s what ruined me and I couldn’t sustain so MTW box F: Upper body Sat: lower body could work if your going 4 times do a Saturday upperbody that’s all I can think of that would assist inshallah it’s beneficial
To be clear the working out won’t be adverse to your training it will just make both trainings much more painful and less efficient if it clashes ie you’ll be training while your shoulders are in faliure from personal experience not a good combo
Yeah also about boxing it's good to learn for self defence but try to avoid sparring as you may hit the head or have your head hit and this can lead to alzeimers or dementia Also from the hadith: Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: When any one of you fights with his brother he should avoid striking at the face.
