    Thanks for sharing, never really thought so much about how the weight can effectively increase difficulty of more “regressed” versions of the push-up in different angles. Fitness and calisthenics UA-cam seems to point you in the weighted calisthenics direction once you’re working at a certain level of a push-up rather than incorporating it into the other angles

    Cool vid about the angles. However I disagree a bit about progressive overload. True PO only comes from increasing weight, for the same movement.
    If you add sets, reps or frequency you mainly are increasing endurance and much less so strength. Same goes for reducing interset rest intervals.
    For increased ROM yes, it makes the exercise harder, but you have to decrease weight, and the only way to truly get stronger is to climb back up to the original weight used but with the new, greater ROM.
    For execution speed, increased speed would be called explosivness or power generation, but not absolute strength.
    All those above are valuable, speed, endurance, strength (relative and absolute), power, explosiveness, etc. But the only one that truly gives you absolute strength is increased load.

      @@tratd6816honestly in my opinion it really depends on what you want, in other words, it doesnt matter. if you wear it on the front it could maybe have less of a chance of falling, but it would probably be harder to balance. i would just go for on your back, but hey thats my opinion. dont let me stop you from seeking further

    I don’t have a weight vest but I do have a bag and I fill it with weights and heavy objects and I use it to work out while doing push-ups or dips or pull ups basically most calisthenic work outs

      Usually if you have imbalances on other muscles you would isolate each and do the same repetition for one and the other. The same principle should be applied here. Such as v kicks on the ground/bar each side.

      Focus on your form and make sure you pull with both sides of your back this could also be due to an imbalance of the arm leaving reliance on one side rather than the other

    Is the voice in this video AI? I ask because @0:38, the pronunciation of the word "tears (in the muscle fiber)" is pronounced "tears"as in from crying, rather than "tears" as in from ripping. AI speech programs haven't mastered homography. But good video, nonetheless.

    i can't u pull up or push up so i do easier version of this 2. one thing i wanna know is that should i do exercise daily or should i do one day & take rest the next day?

    • @yellowdude_co
      @yellowdude_co  Місяць тому +1

      Great question! For beginners, exercising every other day is a good start. It allows for muscle recovery. As you progress, you might handle more frequent workouts. Listen to your body and find a schedule that works for you. Consistency is key! Keep up the great work! 💪

    isnt adding more reps bad for strength gain its like 4-6reps and then u progress

    • @yellowdude_co
      @yellowdude_co  Місяць тому

      While 4-6 reps is indeed a common range for strength training, remember that fitness is highly individual. The best approach is to experiment and find what works best for your body and goals. Keep up the great work 🙂
