Just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos, the builds are just as fun to watch as the sound tests :)
Thank-you Tchiks guitar sbest playing music
Small update. I have my left arm in a cast so the test is going to have to wait another 6 weeks !
@@tchiksguitars oh nooo get well soon!
How much did this guitar build cost?! It sounds better than some of the Gibson I’ve heard!
damn this is good, from your calm composure I thought it was going to be some smooth chords and jazzy stuff, but that higher gain stuff was impressive!
Thank you !
holy moly, this is an absolute masterpiece, it sounds like heaven!!!! congratz!!!
Mid-clean sound so mellow. Thank you for sharing your work and keep it coming man. Can"t wait for your up coming project.
Sounds pretty good, as good as it looks and it looks gorgeous. You truly amaze me with your wood skills, you really have a great touch. oh yeah, I almost forgot to tell you that you sound to be a pretty good guitar player, so many skills in one human being, Thanksman, keeping my eye open for your next post.
Thank you !! I'd like to be a better player though, lots of bad habits to break :)
It sounds as good as it looks. That is one awesome guitar right there. Those "custom" knobs are totally SWEET!!!
So great man! The custom wood knobs and even wood toggle switch. Very cool. Killer work!
Those Lollars sound amazing. Nice tones, brother.
TEST THE SHELF ;)
My left arm is in a plaster cast !
Hell yeah! Those P90's sound sooooo good. My favorite PUPs!
the guitar looks amazing
Stunning!!!
Nice guitar. How about a headless guitar for your next project. Something compact travel friendly yet still full sounding guitar.
I call that a success, well done!
That's a bright neck pick up. Sounds great.
Isn't alive!!! And she wants to run , great job!
SuperX 1000! Great Work!

Cool man!
How to crank your DIY Guitar...
Awesome, Dude
Hey that's a good idea. Technically it is a DIY guitar !
Awesome! I somehow missed this build so i’ll have to go back and watch it later today after kid home school stuff. Will we get a sound demo from #3 built from the shelf?
yes ! I had only 2 things left to do: record this one, and n° 3 :) so it's going to be very soon
tchiks guitars and furniture yay!
Well, it looks nice.
Nice!

Thanks ! Those are all personal riffs :)
Nice
nice sound but also great technique
Thanks !
Ficou excelente!
I just found your build video for this one. I’ve been brainstorming a similar build for a couple years. This is very helpful!! What pickups did you use?
(P-90’s obviously, but which ones?)
Lollar's
The Phat Cats sound phenomenal too
Sounds freakin' awesome, congratulations, mate.
Please, build a bass
Edit: sorry, I already saw that build a bass
:) yes ! I literally learned how to play the bass for that build
Me and my family love your videos I’ve recently got into building to guitars (been playing 14 years and setting them up for 7 years or so.)
I like your hand tools so I got a planer
And setting up my work station sort of like yours
Sounds good can’t wait for more builds
thank you so much !
tchiks guitars and furniture you’re welcome!
@@tchiksguitars Cool! Merci de ta réponse.
Nice. Lollar make a mean P90.
I have the Egnater Tweaker 40 combo and i always hated it until i played single coils through it. Do u like your Tweaker? And is it the 15w head version? Loving the tones your getting with that beautiful build
It's the 15w yes. I really like it but it's my first valve amp so I'm still exploring :)
tchiks guitars and furniture nice man. What cab are u using with it? I like the dirty tones u were getting with it and the tube screamer. The Tweaker 40w combo is my first valve guitar amp as well. When i first got mine i was playing a Schecter Diamond series Banshee 7 String with EMG humbuckers and i couldnt get a good tone out of it to save my life, but i ended up getting a G&L Tribute S-500 and now i love that amp. The single coils really make it sing. I not much of a dirty player though, so i never push it to break, up but i like the clean tones i can get from it.
I don't have a proper cab yet, so I'm hooking it to the speaker of my Orange combo, does the job for now but I'm planning on either buying an Egnater cab OR building my own cab :p The tricky thing with my current setting is that the possibilities of the Egnater head are infinite, and the P90's with independent volume and tone knobs makes it even more infinite, it's kind of overwhelming
tchiks guitars and furniture building a cab would be really cool. I wish i was handy with electronics, i would love to be able to make a cab and also modify my guitar electronics. I want to get a cab extension for mine. And yea I hear you on the endless possibilities part. Its hard committing to a tone when u have so many options. I have that same problem. I spend more time tweaking tone then i do actually playing. Im definitely in the category of tone chaser. Lol. I always wanted to try P90s. I like how they still have that single coil tone but have more body to it and have a more mid focused punch. At least the ones ive heard people play.
Sweet! Sub'd!
thanks !
Super.
Wow this Guitar sounds amazing. How much if you built one got me ?! :) absolutely amazing sound. I really enjoyed it
Thanks ! I don't sell unfortunately :)
tchiks guitars and furniture yes I know. So sad :)
Salut,
&& Push blue !
Beautiful instrument, what would be your price if you would make a copy of it for sale?
I was wondering the same thing. I want one like this and also a twin with humbuckers.
I think P90 pickups are not for hi-gain, but the guitar is awesome!
Thanks ! P90's are good for everything, they have their own sound and make everything far and greasy :) i prefer humbuckers for hi gain too though !
Does It chug ?
I think so
next challenge: a seven string fano~fretted guitar?
Maybe :)
Great work! However, sounds like the octave has out of tune after 12th fret.
It's not the octave, I just got carried away when playing that part and was digging way too hard with my right hand :p also it's all 7th chords and for some reason I have a weird grip when playing those. The note by note intonation seemed fine when I set the guitar, but it's true that it sounded sometimes off in this video, maybe I'll shoot another one when I can play again:)
What's the song at 1:19 and 2:09? Loved it!
it's not a song, just a lick I've been playing for a month now :p
Please make Sketercaster from Rock dog 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
How much prices for that guitars sir ? Cause your guitar i love the caracters of sound ... im from indonesian
I do not sell :)
Pretty Guitar, But am I the only one who noticed how it was going in and out of tune during the first distorted sample?
It is ! Light string gauge and heavy strumming :) it's fine now
How mush for you to make me one ?
I didn't not sell guitars sorry !
hey tchiks when will you do a bass I wanna see that shit in 4k 😳👉🏼👈🏼
I'll only shoot in 4k from now on :)
@@tchiksguitars lets goo 😎
Does anyone know what song is he playing at 1:20?
I wrote it :)
I normally think that boutique guitars are ew but this is beautiful and would fit in anywhere looks and soundwise. Awesome and stay safe
Thanks !
@@tchiksguitars You are welcome - if you don’t mind me asking how did you get into guitar building ? 😊
Three years ago I was getting into bike repair. Then I needed a cart to store my tools. So I got into woodworking. Then I figured guitars were made out of wood. So I started building guitars:)
Next can you make some bass with designs like this one??? Please....
I will send the wood if you are going to make me one just saying
That's a mean piece, sounds good on cucktube, but they don't give it enough justice.
Tam's other half
Sound nice but out of tune, so sad
I went back and listened again and I really don't know what you're talking about. I can almost always tell if a guitar is out of tune (especially if it's sharp) but I'm not hearing it in this video.
It's your ears that are out of tune.
Something in the distorted section sounded off to me as well, but the rest sounded fine. Maybe it was because he was hitting the strings hard, I don't know.
@@sahamal_savu sorry dude, it's DEFINITELY out of tune.
bischtein john I hear it out too, more near the nut, seems okay higher up the neck.
What do you hear?
I'd like to see a tuner hooked up to test the open and fretted notes for accuracy.
Some builders play with the nut position to compensate for the otherwise mathematically correct placement.
