@@jamiekennedycomedy loved you on criminal minds
@Being Scared hey man. Fancy seeing you here. Big fan of the channel.
@@jamiekennedycomedy I really want to become an actor. But live all the way in northern California. I know I can act(drama class in high school) but never took any acting classes. How hard is it making it as an actor, while sustaining being successful? Thank you sir.
Jamie Kennedy love you Jamie! Every time I see you in Scream 3, I always cry. You are such an amazing actor and when I become the next Wes Craven and Hitchcock, I would love to work with you. It’d be an honor. Maybe I can be the one to get you an Oscar nomination. 😎stay safe! And by the way, why weren’t you Ian the last tremors movie?
Scream wouldn’t be what it is without you
thank u, means a lot
No it wouldn't
Facts
This is a fact, I’d really go as far to say that the legacy of scream would have completely changed. Jamie, you were probably everyone’s favorite character hands down. I know I’m not speaking for myself when I say that. With that being said, I’m curious if they’ve ever reached out to you for any type of involvement in the scream franchise since then?
Fuccn facts 💯🎯
"I'm telling you, the Dad's a red herring. It's Billy.
-Randy Meeks, Scream, 1996
Was genuinely correct aswell haha
Randy knew...
How do we know you're not the killer, huh?
I learned at an early age what this meant and I've used it all my life. It's amazing how a piece of cinema can have so many impacts across millions.
It’s really sweet to hear Wes Craven fought for talent that he truly believed in, even if they weren’t well known. Shows you the kind of guy he was, May he Rest In Peace.
Yeah. That was a really nice thing to hear
Bro I've never related to a character like I related to randy. Thanks for bringing that nerdy horror fan to life
Me and you both mate
I like your videos and and they're clearly different formats..... but don't you think it's crazy that you have over 10× the amount of subscribers that Jamie Kennedy has?
ya trailer park boys is good. but idk how you relate to randy bo bandy. thats odd
You related you that character more than anything else in the history of films that you've seen? lol
The original Scream literally brought the horror genre back from the dead! I paid to see it at least 10 times and brought a different person each time. This is great to see.
Wow, that's a true fan haha. thanks for watching pete
I always called Scream the beginning of the "New Wave Slasher Movement".
Right?! And the “everybody’s a suspect” line.. man I STILL get goosebumps to this day just hearing him talk about auditioning!! That line and Jamie’s acting in that scene were what originally reeled me into the entire Scream franchise before I’d ever even actually seen the movie in full! I knew from that scene alone that this movie was going to be different than other horror movies at the time! I loved this!!
Scream gets alot of hate from horror gatekeepers. Unfortunately i think it was also the death rattle for the horror genre. After scream,it was endless shaky cam found footage or creepy demon kid movies. I can count on my hand all the decent horrors(besides scream) put out since 1995.
Randy's death traumatised me as a kid. I was always wary, even to this day, when walking past cars lol especially vans 😂
😂😂😂 lmaoo for real!! If I’m smoking in a parking lot I always make sure I’m no where near any other cars
Well that was a nice surprise. Dude’s a natural storyteller.

A VERY! SIMPLE! FORMULA!!
My favorite character, and also my favorite meta joke in the film when you're on the couch watching Halloween when Ghostface is behind you and you're saying "Jaime please....don't turn around Jaime...don't turn around!!" lmao
When Randy ends up being one of the strongest male characters in the whole franchise! #skeetwho
and i was pissed when he died in scream 2 because he was one of my favorite characters next to sidney.
He is the best character in the franchise to me, Billy and Stu as well.
Wow, Wes Craven was one of my favorite horror directors and I heard all these stories about how nice a guy he was. It's so nice to hear this. RIP Wes.
"You can never make it in this business, unless someone gives you a break" Very impactful words.
you just need a break
@@jamiekennedycomedy You can just tell that Wes Craven was a good man! I’m sorry that Bob & Harvey not only fuck with all of your heads made it so you couldn’t talk about it. Wes is at peace now, & if you believe it to be true he’s looking down on you smiling ☀️ - Joe
I was literally thinking that same thing as i grind out a few things.
Randy is one of my personal favourite characters on Scream. I was very sad when he died. Incredible story. Thank you for sharing. I feel like you added so much life and charisma to that movie. And that’s why it’s my favourite movie of all time. ❤️
Whaat? You've had this channel for 10 years?? How is it possible that the UA-cam algorythm is recommending it to me just now?? Great vid man!!!!

The fact that this whole video is a love letter to Wes, just makes my whole fucking day. What a legend of Hollywood that will never be forgotten, I’m glad one of his many great decisions was picking you for such a perfectly iconic role.
Jason Lee is cool, but you were and are Randy Meeks. End of story.
I appreciate that. I love randy

I got chills hearing you retell your phone call with Wes Craven when he offered you the part.
Still hard to watch your death scene man, wish Randy would've got the girl. When I seen Derek kiss Sid I was like get away from Randys girl! When I was in High School I did a monologue and it was recorded in my English class. I did your entire monologue from Scream 3 where you explained the trilogy rules in the tape from Martha! I still have my vhs tape recording from that class in 2005!

"There's always some stupid bullshit reason to kill your girlfriend." is still one of the best lines in any horror film ever.

That Halloween scene wouldn't work with ANY other actor. Maybe that's a partial 5% reason Wes thought you were perfect for the role. Certain names do pay off I guess.

That’s an incredible story how you got the part of Randy, I definitely can’t see anyone else playing the role than Jamie. As well of the brilliant direction of Wes Craven and the writing of Kevin Williamson You definitely made Scream so unique!
This is awesome! Remember seeing Scream on opening night. I was 15 and it changed my life. I literally told everyone who would listen about it. Including my three neighbor friends up the street who had there mom take us to see it the following weekend. Thank you for being apart of that amazing time in my life Jamie.

Just absolutely love your performances in the Scream films man. Such a memorable character, Randy and Stu are the two characters that always stuck with me when I watched the first film as a kid. So many great lines.
I can't wait to see what they do in Scream 5 with Wes not attached I'm kind of iffy about it.
I was sceptical too until I saw that the guy who wrote Scream 1, 2, & 4 is attached to this one, and everyone else loved the script & said they wouldn't come back if it wasn't a solid script. So I'm positive about this one
Scream 4 was god awful.
