I’m surprised there aren’t more people here prepping for Scream 2022! I’m seeing it tonight, and although I’ve watched this video at least two times, wanted to rewatch
They did a great job making the character for Neve, Sidney, be smart and resourceful in the most difficult situations. Sidney’s character was awesome in the movie. She is the blueprint for girls and women in movies who persevere in horror movies. Characters that we root for on screen. In Scream 5, Sidney said this while on the phone again with Ghostface, “I’m bored” then hangs up. It was so funny! Sis was really over it. 🤣💀
At 14:50 seems like a @nightwish song “dead to the world” the part that said “(...) its not the monster under your bed, it is the man next door (...)” I love it 💜
I bet this would have been AMAZING to see in the theater. I was barely 10 at the time, so obviously, that wasn't happening 😭 Anybody remember their experience?...I'd love to hear about it in the comments below...
I hated Dewey so much for wearing the Ghostface mask and waited outside the door for Sidney! OMFG! THAT WAS SO MEAN! 💀💀💀 Then I just laughed afterwards.

What makes it brilliant and effective is that it's so simple yet terrifying as hell as audiences are viewing this sweet and innocent victim that's terrified for her life as she is getting pursued by this psychotic and vicious killer. 😞😭🥺 Drew Barrymore absolutely and positivity made a brilliant and excellent choice to portrayed Casey Becker as she did a phenomenal and spectacular job as she put tons of emotion and depth into her role. Drew's intention was to play with the audiences expectations as they're we're under the impression that she will be the main character but no the tables are turned as she was killed off at that moment the audiences knew that anything could happen as they are for a fun rollercoaster thrill ride as it kept them on the edge of their seats. 😍😎💯👍
Man….the 90s ruled. Rent your movies from blockbuster “be kind, rewind” lol good times
LOL IMAGINE IF DAVID WAS BILLY I LITERALLY CANNOT IMAGINE IM HAPPY HE SAID HE WANTED TO CAST AS DEWEY
Hi Ghost face 😈
I am so grateful to have seen Scream in theaters.
Gosh I can only imagine the live reactions to Drew’s character! So lucky you were able to have that experience.
It doesn’t seem scary now, but man... when I watched this at 4 years old, nightmares for a while!
at 4? where were your parents?
Wow 4 😆 that was not good
The realism makes it scary. This isn’t a made up boogeyman but a psychopath.
My dad taught art classes for teenagers and he brought me to work with him so I would sit in the corner or on the floor and watch bits of the shining and the clockwork orange at three years old. And people ask why I'm so fucking dark...
thats why its an 18-
Great cast, great script, great director...the trifecta!
I really miss blockbuster.
I have seen Scream a million times and it is a Great movie
And to just know that Scream 5 is in the making.
I love the opening, Drew is full-tilt AWESOME as Casey Becker in the opening sequence, excellent performance her immense fear is so palpable . . .

Great Series it made Horror Slasher Movies A Thing Again.
Funny to think of Courtney had never done the movie she probably wouldn't have met David
Yes she would have. He appeared on friends.
And Scream 2 as well
Alice David Arquette was on friends!! They just never had a scene together
@Jenny Lee people dont divorce outside of hollywood? shut up jenny
They ended up divorced anyway. Everything goes to shit
SCREAM is one of the best movies ever made in the slasher-genre. R.I.P. Wes Craven who made this happen.
Scream (1996) is one of my favorite and greatest slasher movies of all time. It was something new, fresh, unique, inventive, stylish, cool, edgy, hip, and updated such as the concept and theme. It is credit for reinventing and revitalizing the slasher and horror genre which we're considered dead, repetitive, and boring at the time. It was decent. To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old.😍😎💯👍
Scream 1 and Scream 2 will always ALWAYS be AMAZING horror films to me. So beautifully made ugh
I miss Wes Craven..and my childhood.

I 💯% agree with you! An absolute CLASSIC!
best cast in any scream was the first imo
Scream is my Life i love it so much
Thank you for uploading this!!
Arguably the greatest casting of all time for a horror movie or movie period.
Scream will forever be the only horror franchise I will watch. To me, nothing else comes close or compares.
I love all the Scream movies. First one was the best! :)
I loved the meta references of Scream and the other films in the slasher horror genre 😍
Same here. I wish I wrote a horror film like this
Or should I say, I want to write a horror film like this
I went to the theater many times to watch this movie and I rented it more times then I can count!
DREW: Hello??
KILLER: Hello??
DREW: Yes??
KILLER: Who is this??
DREW: Mmmm who ya trying to reach??
KILLER: What number is this??
DREW: What number are you trying to reach??
KILLER: I don't know!!
DREW: Well I think you have the wrong number!!
KILLER: Do I??
DREW: It happens take it easy!!
DREW: Hangs up!!
lmao
Hello?
I'm sorry I guess I dialled the wrong number
To apologize
Wait, don't hang up
I wanna talk to you for a sec
14:43 Everybody, let's scream together: "Fucker!"
Scream 1 was the best
Producer: "It was always supposed to be a trilogy."
Me: Waiting for Scream 5 to come out in January. 😂
And six just came out. But I saw on ET a bTS video and Neve said that she didn’t want a scream 4, 5 and 6 and I was like haha so ironic
U can’t beat OG! But can’t wait for 5 to come out 👌🏼🤘🏼😎
Forgot how funny these films were. There were more laughs at the cinema than The Full Monty
The UTTER BRILLIANCE OF WES CRAVEN. HE IS SO MISSED. YOU CAN'T REPLACE BRILLIANCE. HE WAS & STILL IS A GENIUS. THE MASTER OF HORROR & SUSPENSE. I STILL LOVE HIS CAMEO AS FRED THE JANITOR IN FULL FREDDY KRUEGER GARB. THIS FILM JUST NEVER GETS OLD. IT WAS INNOVATIVE AND HIP. AND STILL IS TO THIS DAY!!!
I feel like Deweys fake out death in the original Scream was a real death but they loved David Arquette so much that they added a scene at the end of him surviving
Im pretty sure that they filmed both versions (him dying and him surviving) and test audiences liked the character sp much they kept him surviving in the movie. I don’t remember where i read that tho so could be wrong!!
I loved watching this documentary on the making of the Scream movies, Rip Wes Craven.

The atmosphere in scream 1996 is perfect.. I love it! Can't stop watching, then scream 3 is good re-watch aswell
Love this movie and all the sequels, to lesser and varying degrees, but still love them all. That shows how well the first one set it up and cast the OG characters
I’m surprised there aren’t more people here prepping for Scream 2022!
I’m seeing it tonight, and although I’ve watched this video at least two times, wanted to rewatch
RIP Wes Craven🙏🏻🕊
Neve Campell was the best(Sidney Prescot)
She's the only Sidney Prescott
They need to update this with scream 4 and TV series
"Gale Weathers"
😆Still gets me.
I find it funny that everyone wanted to play a different character, but in the end it turned out perfectly.
Man I remeber those days
I WAS WAITING TO SEE JAMIE, AND WHEN I DID I GOT OVERLY EXCITED AND HIT A DIFFERENT VIDEO, AND NOW I HAVE TO SKIP THROUGH THIS AGAIN 😂
Drew Barrymore gutted hanging from a tree scene will always make anybody lose their appetite to a good meal 😩
Someone must've hated Drew to do that scene 😅
Classic.
RIP WES
The only persistent problem I’ve had with the movies took place in part 3… *Gale’s bangs.*
Love this movie take me back to this years 💖
I love friends omg it’s my favorite show and then I saw her and scream and I’m like oh my God that’s one of my favorite movies
Best slasher movie ever made. Even tho we only see 5 people die besides the killers lol
This is by far my favorite horror franchise.
Neve Campbell did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Sidney Prescott as she put tons of emotion and depth into her role. 😍😎💯👍
I really think all the Scream movie was totally great and outstanding.......in horror.
At 14:50 seems like a @nightwish song “dead to the world” the part that said “(...) its not the monster under your bed, it is the man next door (...)” I love it 💜
I love love love this movie
My favorite movie of all time ♥️
Ghostface and SCREAM is my all time favorite slasher and horror franchise 💯
David Arquette is adorable af!
I bet this would have been AMAZING to see in the theater. I was barely 10 at the time, so obviously, that wasn't happening 😭
Anybody remember their experience?...I'd love to hear about it in the comments below...
I saw it when I was 18...and it was scary for real! Hadn't seen a real smart, slasher in over a decade and it really blew my sister and I away.
Not one interview with Rose McGowan or about her character Tatum... I liked Tatum
This isn't a full documentary, dumbass. Watch the full docs, idiot.
@@MrParkerman6 why are you so mad? Lmao weirdo
Love the Scream franchise!
I'm a screamjunkie i watched the Whole Films and Series like 5 times
Iman Shine I've watched them way more than that lol but that's probably bc I was a preteen when the first one came out lol
5 times, pump those numbers up those are rookie numbers.
I hated Dewey so much for wearing the Ghostface mask and waited outside the door for Sidney! OMFG! THAT WAS SO MEAN! 💀💀💀 Then I just laughed afterwards.
