I don’t know why, but I get more and more anxious everytime I hear “Hard DK.” It just doesn’t sound right. It was a one time joke that became a running gag but now it just feels passive aggressive, stressful, and intimidating.

If you're spiked hard enough on the stage you go through the clouds (they slow your decent a bit though)
Keep in mind, spiking them while grounded actually won't send them through, they have to be in the air when they're spiked

Donkey kong is actually the most threatening, since you can't be spiked while standing on the clouds
But at higher percents im pretty sure in the air his down B will knock you into the air and then because you're not on the ground, it spikes you through
The clouds slow em down alot though, so it won't kill heavies until like- 200%
