"By the year 2040 there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and large erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them." - LMAO! Thank you SO much for saying there is a connection between estrogen and Alzheimers along with early menopause. My mom had a hysterectomy in her early 50's and had early on-set Alzheimers in her late 50's/early 60's. So sad. She was the smartest most brilliant woman diminished to a vegetable. I have always suspected the hysterectomy and the lack of knowledge regarding HRT from the medical professionals she was trusting. Your valuable work making these videos can save a ton of women including me!

Finally! I found a gynecologist who will allow me to go back to .05 dose of estradiol patch. He didn’t lecture me as others have done in the past. Hoping this approach continues.
Not only that but the new twice-weekly patch he prescribed is very small and clear - almost invisible when stuck on. That’s a big change from the large round, bulky and itchy patches I’ve been wearing for the last three years. Has Mylan changed their patch formulation or has this less-intrusive option been there all the time? My previous prescription was also with Mylan but was once-a-week.
Been watching you from the beginning and am always grateful for the information.

I'm so happy that you are getting what you want for managing your menopause.
There are a variety of patches of different sizes. Some are weekly; others are twice a week.

I absolutely adore you and found you at the exact time I needed it. I had a cyst on my ovary that was producing large amounts of estrogen. They removed the cyst and ovary. I had one ovary left, but apparently that ovary “went into shock” and stopped producing. Therefore, I went into full on surgical menopause. Thanks to watching ALL of your videos I had to guide my gynecologist on how to treat me. It’s true they want to start us at such a low dose that doesn’t fight the big 3. After expressing my desires and how awful my symptoms were she put me on the highest dose patch. It was wonderful, until I started getting a rash. Now I’m on estrogel. However, I think she lowered my dose. I’ve been trying to find the video from way back that told us how much we need to be on to fight the big 3. Could you please guide me back to that video? Thank you for all you do. You are truly a life saver!

This helps give me some understanding as to why my insurance doesn't cover hrt for menopause. They are confused by scientisim. (Theories taught as facts) and of course there's no money for them in a relatively healthy population. I so appreciate all this information and the alternative options that work really well for me. This is the FIRST time I've heard of how poorly conducted the studies have been!
I can only guess that it is intentional. Why keep women healthy when there is more profit in pushing pills for all the various symptoms that menopause creates.
Thank you for this information. I believe there needs to be a separate branch of journalism where journalists are specially trained to read the studies carefully and figure out why a study is concluding what it is BEFORE reporting on it! Of course, this isn't going to happen. Integrity in journalism is long dead. Journalism is now propaganda for politicians and big pharma.
Thank you for highlighting the fact that there is a lot of misinformation that is, unfortunately, still scaring women and doctors off from hrt.
Medicine is in a very sad state. Women deserve far better. I'm grateful there are knowledgeable people out there who can break it all down without biases.

I stopped my periods at age 41 and kick started them again my eating loads of soya beans but I think I ate too many as started to get all kinds of wierd symptoms so I stopped eating so many. The difficultly with any hrt treatment is that most Doctors give a standard dose and the women in these studies would have all needed a unique dose and for the impact to be monitored. I'm talking about the UK though.

LOL we're are unique and one off's. We'll be our own lab rats with medication.
I've learned that every study out there you need to not take seriously.
More women's health research needs to happen. When results are in they need to give different stats, like 8/10k had this/that happen. This helps us decide if the risk is worth the benefit.
Logic and reasoning is how I live life....
