"Let`s do now something else" is what Nathan says :) Dimash paused, listened to what Nathan is playing, and changes his vocalise. This is another short video from Dimash`s channel, where he sings a bit of Brahms, because "Sometimes you want to sing so much that you don`t care what time you do it :))) It`s 3 AM and it`s a little cloudy outside the window. It`s time to sing Brahms" : ua-cam.com/users/shortsx9Iey84UCIo
On Nathan Wang’s Instagram feed, he titles this same video clip: “Improvising with Dimash. He’s soooooooo talented!”. So there’s your answer, they were improvising :)
Dimash was in LA for a lot of last year working with various people. I think this was just them messing around tbh, but Dimash's voice is stunning as usual 😊
On Dimash's YT channel, the shorts are 45 seconds long, signed:"Sometimes you want to sing so much that you don't care what time you do it))) It's 3 am and it's a little cloudy outside the window. It's time to sing Brahms" You might be interested in hearing this.
It was....it was so Dimash. I remembered his mother saying he could start singing in the middle of the night in full voice, and when they ran to see what's happening, he asked them what was wrong.
He said "let's do now something ours". I guess he meant "let's do our own thing". It was posted by Nathan Wang as "Improvising with Dimash". Thank you Sir.
Dear Sir Professor, your amazing musical explanations are increasingly making me wish I could fully understand the formal language of music… I thank you very much for your masterclass on this wonderful melody spontaneously performed by two grand instruments: the piano and Dimash’s voice❣
Nathan Wang composed the main musical theme of the "Golden Panda" award ceremony. Dimash sang "Join Hands" with Chinese singer Wei Wei on the occasion of the event. It took place on September 20th, 2023 in China. That was probably one of the reasons for the collaboration. ua-cam.com/video/8VLgUhHuiYk/v-deo.htmlsi=Y-jELH9wXvCsTEYC

So interesting to me that Dimash is teaching the world so much about music such a deep and wonderful world..reactors like you and the Bangkok Voice Coach play an important role in explaining what Dimash is doing musically..a good example is the Flower Sellers duet from Lakmae by Leo Delibes, a 19th century operatic piece used in the form of an old recording in When I've Got You Dimash's latest MV..thanks for teaching us about music! Greetings from Cape Town South Africa
Maestro Sir Hairless que placer es ver estas master class que nos regala. Gracias por ponernos la piel de gallina y lagrimas en los ojos con este bello tema. Un fuerte abrazo de madre como siempre.
To get more of Dimash improvising(which I'm pretty sure he's doing here, perhaps as a break in-between what they're really working on together?) I recommend the vocalise version of "Know"(aka. "Ascolta La Voce") from his Arnau Concert in Kiev. Ps. If you want to hear more of Dimash singing without a mic there's an almost hour long compilation by Dia Linwen of him doing just that throughout the years(from childhood to more recently) that you might find interesting.
Gosh, I enjoy your musical analyses of Dimash. I have Schindler's List in my playlist - the BBC version, conducted by Keith Lockhart with violin soloist Chloe Hanslip. Chloe's emotional interpretation is reminiscent of how Dimash uses his soprano register, in general. Today, from you I learned about the interval John Williams uses in multiple compositions - I didn't know that! I really enjoyed Nathan Wang's choices in this piece; he and Dimash have great synergy. I hope they do more together beyond Nathan's composition "Join Hands" at the Golden Panda Awards. I think this raw video was just two great musicians relaxing and getting to know each other.
Gracias por tu reacción,aquí estaban jugando,es una grabación casera.Para que vean que Dimash ni necesita micrófono 😊Saludos para ti y todos los Dears desde Argentina!!!🤗❤🇦🇷

Dear Sir Hairless, I just watched your reaction of Ikanaide and Autumn Strong and really want to recommend something. Seeing how you enjoyed exploring the comparisons between different version of songs ( original vs Dimash versions) I believe you woukd absolutely enjoy reacting to „Love is like a Dream”. A bit of background: this song was written by Igor Krutoy 30 years ago for a legendary russian singer Alla Pugachova. It became very popular and was covered by several other artists - most notably Lara Fabian, who you might know of, and who has a long history of collaborating and friendship with Igor Krutoy. Now, Dimash performed his version of this song - rearranged for him by Igor - in a tribute concert dedicated to the original legendary Alla Pugachova. What he did with the original song , how he transformed it into sth else entirely, is incredible and made for one of the absolutely best performances of his. It is simply stunning. To appreciate Dimash’s take you need to check the original by A. Pugachova and maybe Lara Fabian’s cover. Both great in their own rights, but Dimash’ s version is just an experience. The said performance is one of the top videos on his channel ( the one with burgundy suit😉). You will not regret, enjoy🙂
Thanks for the recommendation and information! This one is already in my list 👌🏽 I’ve also done a reaction to Adagio, first Lara’s performance and then the next reaction to Dimash’s. I very well may do this with songs sung by both artists
Thank you for this reaction. It amazes me these little gems keep popping up. Dimash has done so much work. I wonder often, there are only 24 hrs. in 15:05 a day however, he seems to extend that. His talent and dedication never sieze to amaze. Also you’re reactions. Thank you.
If I had to guess about the opening to the Schindler‘s List theme, I’d say the major ending of the intro, mirrors the normal optimism we tend to feel in real life tragedies. Hoping things are nearing the end, getting better. We often take moments of joy when we can. It’s only later we find that things have actually gotten much worse. But those moments of optimism can help us to cope in the moment. Maybe it’s not as deep as that. But that’s what I got out of it.
It is interesting to see Dimash in rehearsal. The performance is not perfect but you can see how Dimash prepares for what would be a rich perfect performance.
