Try Quaragym-ai. It’s one of my favourites. No vocal acrobatics, but just emotional and beautiful. Thank you. I tried to find out a little more about you, but couldn’t see. Can you give us a bit of your background.?
There are two different performances (actually there are more--see below for the ones I am referring to.) of Qaragym Ai that it would be interesting for you to hear and perhaps analyze. One he sang in 2016--the composer, Kenes Duisekeev was one of Dimash's teachers, and a close mentor for him. Duisekeev was reluctant to let him sing it in concert because he didn't know if a young person could do justice to the song. Dimash sang it for him per Duisekeev's request, and he was impressed enough to give Dimash permission to perform it. Duisekeev died of CoVid (or during the CoVid epidemic, at least, in 2020), and Dimash later sang the song as a memorial/tribute to Duisekeev, accompanied by a sole pianist who was also a student of Duisekeev. The versions are quite different in terms of tone and emotion. His tribute version is especially poignant and emotional--very moving. (I'd listen to the 2016 version first.) There's a backstory to the composition and lyrics of the song--it has a very nice write-up on this page (which goes into the meaning of the lyrics and motivations of the composer) but I don't think it would really have any spoilers for you in terms of the actual music's structure or Dimash's singing--it doesn't go into details about Dimash's performance other than to say that Duisekeev really appreciated the way Dimash sang the piece. From Dimash fandom website: dimash.fandom.com/wiki/My_Dear The video from Dimash's website of the 2020 version also has a synopsis of the origin of the song (not in as much detail as the fandom site), and the lyrics in English in the description for the song. 1. I don't know if there is a truly official version of it though. 2. Performance on Dimash's website from 2020.

Thank you, @SirHairless! I agree 100% that it is odd hearing much of the same skill of current Dimash coming from this figure who looks like a mere teenager. The technique he had already learned at that young age is really impressive to me. With the first words, I was stunned at how completely he had mastered the soft, intimate, breathy approach that he still does so very well. That's not the way most teenagers would like to be heard singing, but it is fantastic to my ear -- and pulls at my heart strings. And that's the other thing that really floors me. How can a teenager empathize with the emotions of others so well that he can covey it through song to others who don't even know the words? I suspect that's a gift, but one he has deliberately developed.
I would love to hear Dimash sing this song in his now mature voice. Having only the piano as accompaniment is lovely, but, with his more mature voice, a full orchestra would be fantastic. I also think a cello would have been beautiful with the piano, and perhaps violins. Maybe because I love the sound of sting instruments.
Bellissima canzone.

Tks. Beijos do Brasil 😘❤️🇧🇷
I listen to this on Spotify all the time. It sounds more mature on the Spotify and it’s one of my favorites. Listen to that for a slightly different version than this one when he is younger. Beautiful song sung by the best singer of all time.
This video is Dimash in 2012 during the contest "Жас Қанат" (Zhas Qanat, ENG: Young Waves) Dimash was 18. So definitely the youngest version you've seen yet. There is another video on his youtube page, when he was 14/15 years old, singing: The Song of Kebek Batyr. The MV version from G Wu's page is a recording done, during his University days, and he added a few tweaks to his voice, there's a bit of autotuning done for effect. (Obviously not for corrective tuning) And only at the end. I do love this song.
@hitomiochiai8787 Why you give wrong information. This is not Zhas Qanat setting at all. On the stage it is clear says EKI EZU, therefore, message above is correct @avictoriangirl This performance was from March 7, 2013 at the Palace of Students in Aktobe, Kazakhstan for the Entertainment program "Eki Ezu", so he would have been 18, almost 19 when he sang this. (Info is from here: ua-cam.com/video/qlI55mLr2r4/v-deo.html) I wish he could sing it again, I can only imagine what it would sound like now.
This gives me "the feels." How beautiful! Sometimes simple is more impactful. With his voice he always manages to move me. He always surprises me. I love the pianist too! I agree that if I were not looking at him I would think that he was older. 💖R/A🎼
Oh that is Beautiful. I hope there is another video of him singing. Yes he sounds young. We have seen the changes in his voice, as he gets older. So beautiful ! Thanks for understanding what Dimash does with his vocals, if that's possible, lol
To me the main thing about this performance is not whether he sounds young, but the fact that one recognizes that it is Dimas performing and singing in his glorious voice.😊❤😊
Once again, a big thank you for reviewing Dimash.🤗 Allow me to suggest, perhaps more from a female rather than a musical perspective, that what you're referring to as a weaker voice I hear as a soft, tender address to the one he loves. The comparative way seems almost like an insistent salesman more than a gentle statement from the heart. I think Dimash imparts the perfect feeling and intent of the song. So, I listen as as a woman. It's a love song and it's perfect🤗😊
Ah yes, please don't take my use of word 'weaker' as anything other than intentional for emotive purposes! I mean that is it, objectively, a weaker sound in terms of volume and vocal strength. I believe it is more powerful in terms of emotional capacity
I hadn't heard this one before! Beautiful, but would LOVE to hear how he would sing it now! The maturity would even more amazing.. Thank you Sir for you time and analysis, always outstanding!
Maybe you want to hear Dimash singing the song "I love you to tears" also a beautiful love song by the composer Igor Krutoy. If you type on UA-cam "Dimash and song I love you to tears" you will get several versions
This was one of those hidden gems. Dimash young or older is phenomenal. It brings joy to my heart and soul. He knows just how to fill them both. Thanks. You too are one of a kind. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💥
Could you please explain what makes people cry when they hear him sing? It couldn't be the technique, or high notes, or what? What is it about him that drive us crazy? He is like fallen angel, but still an angel.
What stands out to me is seeing how much a very young Dimash loved to sing! His love of singing was obvious even at such a young age! Also he was so slight for such power. Interesting! 🙏🙏❤️ I thought I had heard it all but this is new to me!
Mi ricorda IKANAIDE BELLISSIMA QUANDO L ASCOLTO LE LACRIME SCENDONO NON RIESCO A FERMARLE ❤❤ ❤ DIMASH LA SUA VOCE E LE INTERPRETAZIONI LA PASSIONE ❤ CHE METTE NELLE CANZONI A ME SEMBRA DI VIVERLE PERSONALMENTE grazie sei bravissimo a spiegare ❤👏👏👏👏🇮🇪❤🎵🇰🇿
It's an absolutely beautiful song. If you watch the one with the movie clips he sings it at a little faster tempo. I love it and I hope you watch it, even if you don't react to it.
I absolutely love this song it is so beautiful. I wonder how more mature Dimash would sing this today. Dimash is probably still in school and in music studies. But honestly, I don’t know if Dimash will ever stop studying, trying out new things. Thank you for your reaction, I have been trying to find this song to put on my playlist.

Excellent reaction as always to the amazing Dimash. Please consider reacting to the version with film clips, it is a different performance and the ending in particular is absolutely fantastic. 😊
I can’t stand looking at the Anna Karenina movie clips (or more accurately Keira Knightley) so I prefer the fan made video with the same audio but just different photos of Dimash on the RD KD channel.
The only singing contest didn't win 1st place in was the 2017 contest in China. He came in 2nd because a foreigner wasn't allowed to win 1st place. I did read that they changed the rules for 2018. That said, Dimash said he wasn't worried about "numbers", only that the audience like what he does as a vocalist.

Right about being young. In 2017 he was invited to compete in China in The Singer. At that time I think he was early 20's. Worth watching!!! Thanks for incredible reactions😊
Crazy how smooth & light his voice was at this age. I've seen TV shows from back then where he sounds autotuned or with an effect added (not that he would ever need it lol) , but here it's clear that it's just him 😍
I appreciate that you are honest when so many other reactors merely “wow” everything he does-you explain. You are giving extra value to his musical choices.
Thank you for posting this video. I thought that I had heard Dimash’s entire repertoire. It turned out that I was wrong. He is very young here and, as you noted, his voice sounds young too. Great review as always. Thanks a lot.

I think we would all be a sobbing mess if he were to perform it today.
Dimash❤❤❤❤
DIMASH,es único ❤❤️
Thank you for the reaction. I had not seen this one. I always appreciate seeing new Dimash videos.
Bellissima canzone. Veramente bella . 🙏 please reaction. Love Dimash 🇮🇹❤️🇰🇿
Please please react to the live performance of "Story of one sky"....❤
Love you Sir hairless....come in Greece to visit us !!!!!
I will react to it in the future, don't worry
Greetings to you in Greece 🇬🇷
He brings beauty to every song
Thank you for reaction to such a beautiful Ukrainian song. Ukrainian language so melodic and soft. Chernobrivzci is also Ukrainian song. 🌎❤️🇺🇦
Yes! I mention both these Ukrainian songs in this video Love them both
Thank you for this! It is thrilling to hear how well Dimash already sang at that young age, and your excellent musical analysis adds so much to my enjoyment of his performances. The time and effort you put into your reactions is apparent - it is much appreciated!
Tks. Beijos do Brasil 😘❤️🇧🇷
I listen to this on Spotify all the time. It sounds more mature on the Spotify and it’s one of my favorites. Listen to that for a slightly different version than this one when he is younger. Beautiful song sung by the best singer of all time.
Yes, I have it on Spotify and love it. Especially the ending gets me every time❤❤
Yes, totallt agree, it's on my favoourite list of Dimash songs on Spotify.
I love young Dimash performances. Have them all in my playlist.
Where did you get them?
@@anahills3836 from you tube.
On the stage it is clear says EKI EZU, therefore, message above is correct @avictoriangirl
This performance was from March 7, 2013 at the Palace of Students in Aktobe, Kazakhstan for the Entertainment program "Eki Ezu", so he would have been 18, almost 19 when he sang this. (Info is from here: ua-cam.com/video/qlI55mLr2r4/v-deo.html)
I wish he could sing it again, I can only imagine what it would sound like now.
Dimash is unique ❤❤❤❤❤
Wow, a rare one. I was listening to this yesterday! And hearing young Dimash is special. ❤ from Aussie dear
I've heard Dimash sing this song before, but not this version.
This gives me "the feels." How beautiful! Sometimes simple is more impactful.
With his voice he always manages to move me.
He always surprises me. I love the pianist too!
I agree that if I were not looking at him I would think that he was older.
💖R/A🎼
For sure, I've definitely found a style of Dimash's that I find the most moving
Very beautiful and so young. Such control just born with this gift. Amazing so much emotions in his voice.
Amazing, isn't it
Oh that is Beautiful.
Once again, a big thank you for reviewing Dimash.🤗
Allow me to suggest, perhaps more from a female rather than a musical perspective, that what you're referring to as a weaker voice I hear as a soft, tender address to the one he loves.
I wish Dimash could sing this. It is incredibly beautiful. ❤
Thank you, dear Sir, for the musical analysis. A very little one is still our Master here...
Hi!, this song, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful love songs. And the Dimash's voice takes it to another level. Wow! 👏👋
Could you please explain what makes people cry when they hear him sing? It couldn't be the technique, or high notes, or what? What is it about him that drive us crazy? He is like fallen angel, but still an angel.
Some things are beyond our ability to explain them using words Dimash's singing is one such thing
@@SirHairless Thank you, you are the only person analysing Dimash who came very close to explaining it. I'm very grateful.
I do agree that he sounds young yet experienced. Interesting glimpse into his early days.
I agree with you. His voice sounds younger. Thank you for your wonderful videos. I watch every day...wouldn't miss it.😊
No la había escuchado, que dulzura!!💖💖🇨🇺
Hermosa canción, saludos desde Las Tunas
It's an absolutely beautiful song. If you watch the one with the movie clips he sings it at a little faster tempo. I love it and I hope you watch it, even if you don't react to it.
Love this song! 💖💖💖
I absolutely love this song it is so beautiful.
I wonder how more mature Dimash would sing this today.
Dimash is probably still in school and in music studies.
But honestly, I don’t know if Dimash will ever stop studying, trying out new things.
Thank you for your reaction,
I have been trying to find this song to put on my playlist.
Gracias. Me encanta tu canal. Thank you. I love your channel.
Cudowna piosenka. No i zakonczenie urywa banie😊. Pozdrawiam i dziekuje za Twoja reakcje. Zawsze czekam na nie. Jestes mistrzem w pokazywaniu niuansow nam maluczkim😊
OMG he is sooooo young here!!! Young voice❤
Beautiful song ❤
2013. március 7.-én énekelte ezt a dalt Dimash, vagyis 18 éves korában. Tetszik az elemzésed. Greetings from Hungary!💖
Hello again please do your analysis on love is like a dream in Russia
Yes, I think there is a lot to go over in a reaction to Love is Like a Dream, beautiful song.
Thanks you for the lovely reaction. Ihave never seen this version before and I thought I have seen it all😊 Very pleasant discovery indeed❤
THANKS. DIMASH IS SO LOVELY, AMAZING, UNIQUE, BEAUTIFUL.¡¡¡¡ GREETINGS FROM MEXICO. I LIKE THE WAY YOU DESCRIBED THIS VIDEO.
Just amazing!!! Singing truly eases our pain! Such a God given gift for release of every emotion!
Right about being young. In 2017 he was invited to compete in China in The Singer. At that time I think he was early 20's. Worth watching!!! Thanks for incredible reactions😊
cant belive only one guy reacted to this
🫡
That is a wonderful way to end an exhausting day, to calm down and left the day behind with a Smile
I love this performance and watch it all the time. It's such a pretty song. Thanks for the breakdown.
Thank you for your reactions. STill waiting for more of your Dimash reactions.
One of my abdolute fav.Dimash songs. So clean and beautiful.
Thank you for posting this video. I thought that I had heard Dimash’s entire repertoire. It turned out that I was wrong. He is very young here and, as you noted, his voice sounds young too. Great review as always. Thanks a lot.
Have you heard Karatorai Ay? ( I think that's the correct spelling). He sang it at a younger age and its also beautiful.
@@barbarasaracini1271 If you mean Karatorgai, yes. It's an amazing composition! I love it! I only heard the version he performed five years ago. I have never heard of an earlier performance. Please send me a link to an early performance of this composition. Thank you so much for your attention and participation.
Dimash's version is on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, UA-cam Music, etc under the Ukranian name.
What a pleasant surprise to find you reacting to this song! It’s a really beatitudes song indeed.
May I suggest you check out the other version of this song as he’s added a new spin to it?
Looking forward to seeing more Dimash analysis from you!
Thank you!
❤❤❤have always loved him singing this song. ❤❤❤
