How did the dislike youtube experiment work out? sorry if you'd discussed already, i watch most on mute with subititles passively
I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad but essentially it proved my hypothesis: the like and dislike button do the same thing for a videos performance
@@BrightWorksTV Yes, but not for viewers looking at the like to dislike ratio.
@@BrightWorksTV But in the long run, if all the people would dislike it, it would vanish from their front page and you would lose a lot of viewers. For one Video i may have no impact.
@@uberwaffe9766 how do you see the ration? for me it is not visible since their update a few years back. I can only see the like-count - not the downvotes
@@tobali9650 "Return UA-cam Dislike" is a browser plugin that shows the downvotes number again.

It was really some of the most fun I've had with BAR, such a back and forth game with pretty even teams. Kiwi_Thug played very well, and I knew towards the end that even if I somehow stopped the temporary flood of units and porc'd up or something, he was doing a good job with his resbots on our turf eating up metal and was in any case way ahead on eco when my base had been destroyed twice (confirmed seeing this now, 2 afus lol) and it would just be a matter of time to lose anyways, which is why I went for the long shot :)
I had a great time, GGs to everyone, like you said it's rare that 3v3s go the distance like this so it was a rare treat to get to play a match like this.
That was one of the most epic BAR matches ever. And that end. Beautiful.

I was shocked he didnt lose it earlier when he was chilling with it near their rezzed t2 lab with so much enemy t2 around.

Kiwi thug here. Thanks for covering the game. Awesome to make it to “Bright Works” when the 2nd Nuke hit I knew we had it in the bag. Pretty proud of the nuke eat but ended up celebrating too early and never rebuilt air. man what a fun game! We all said after. Gota send this one in to the man.

@@3komma141592653 Total annihilation? Not really. There are few people who still play it mostly out of dedication.
But considering that games like BAR, Planetary annihilation, Supreme commander 1 and 2 and few others exist, there is not much reason to play it outside of nostalgia. Between all these games, whatever it was that hooked you up on TA, they have it covered
The smaller Matches need a lot more reputation and coverage. Many people who come from Command and Conquer or Age of Empires Backgrounds are not familiar with the highly competitive 8V8 where every player has a particular role to fullfill in the team. But BAR has a great potential for fun even in smaller size matches. It´s a whole different game almost.
That is so true. While you can have special units in AoE 2, most of your eco and infrastructure are the same on everyone.
In BAR it changes a lot with role and map. Also the casual playerbase is quite small compared to AoE.
What the actual duck. I've seen Pros doing the nuclear bomber snipe but lower os players doing its a blast. Keep the good work Brightworks!

What a fantastic ending. Also very strong plays during the game from both teams. I did not expect someone eating the nuclear silo at this skill level.
It feels like the average skill of player in game is steadily slowly increasing because I agree, 6 months ago and that silo would've launched 3 more nukes and been forgotten about it the backline lol

Holy shit that was a crazy ending.
I feel for blue. You're doing well on your side and first to teach up with the advantage. 10 Min later you have 1\10th the eco of Teal who is just sitting back not pushing any advantage. Always a tough spot when the player with all the economy has no idea how to use it.
Awesome game. Feels bad to see it basically play out as a 2v3 for more than half the match.

I think if I was playing this map I'd go for an early mine layer rush. Push mines out to the choke point in the middle and try to advance from there. Even light mines will 1 shot T1s and they take what? half a second to make? Easy investment and massive advantage for anyone not paying attention. From there you and your team can push for a quick victory after they've been lured through the minefield and slaughtered.
Remember early armies are a huge investment and that loss is your gain! >:)

Proof that eco doesn't always win games, at least when you don't have spare commanders
Fiends seem like a poor choice to paste over a defensive wall, mammoths soak up defensive fire and allow the squishier units to bring their firepower to bear. If you were to pick one unit to support your ally's spam againt a fortified base, then mammoths fits the bill better than fiends.
I truly don't understand why OJ was porc'ing his side with no resistance, rather than building LLT's at least within range of the other sides metal extractors. Like, even knowing nothing about the game, basic logic would say "more is better," and denying your opponents is better than not.
Poorly done aggression is better than poorly done defense.

why pinpointers for starlights? I thought PP's were for indirect non-commital rounds?
Every radar dot is slightly inaccurate. Pinpointers increase the accuracy of the dots.
Pinpointers are really important for starlights because their firing range is higher than their vision range, and their shots are lasers, meaning they need to hit right on target.
