I agree! Scripture says we must love our neighbor as we love ourselves. We are all made in the image of God, no matter what you believe. Since that is the case we are coming down on Gods creation when we come down on ourselves as well as others. Being kind starts at home. You do lovely work and making these videos isn’t an easy task. Give credit where credit is due. And that means you too! ❤

Cute idea! Might work to attach the paper on the outside seam after you staple the papers into the booklet, too, to cover the staples on the outside.

Or put the washi tape vertical instead of horizontal.

Or sew in the pages and make a feature of the stitching!
You could also sew the seam rather than use staples..just an idea but I love what you created , so pretty 💞

I love making journals, but don’t really have time or use for them. This will satisfy my need & also be gift-able.
They’d be great to give as a ‘to-do list’ or ‘doodle’ pads, or even for kids to draw in when you are out & need them to sit quietly.
I am making Prayer Bibles for Christmas gifts & these would be perfect to slip inside as a place to write notes & prayer requests.

Hi. What are prayer Bibles?
Prayer Bibles are small, compact Bibles where you tab verses per prayer subject, in order to pray sripture back to God, instead of just your own thots, when someone asks you to pray for them. (Or for your own prayer time.)
There have always been prayer Bibles, but this lady, Jessica? (Sisterita Club on uTube), reinvented them this way. If you’re a crafter, you can add art, stamping etc. to the pages & make it beautiful! The idea has really taken off & is a wonderful way to pray the Word!

Once again Cathy you've come up trumps with these unusual little booklets. Think putting the torn washi tape over the staples was a clever little touch. It added another dimension. I don’t make journals or scrapbooks. I do make cards, so I have many of the items you used. But I watched this video because I have many index cards that are getting old, so sort of yelloed on the edges, and I knew I wanted to make some booklets to hold notes on my various crafting projects, ie the heel of sox for knitting and other things I just wanted to keep track of helpful hints. I do so many different crafts so this was perfect for me
Just went to the supply section in Walmart and stocked up on index cards in multiple sizes, will make a few of these mini journals tonight!! Thanks!

Such a fantastic idea!!! They can be massed made in a snap!! Have you ever thought to fold your cardstock over before punching out our tabs? If you slide the paper down so there is a little space where the paper is folded before you punch the tab comes out in one piece.

These are so cute to make and hand out as a favor for a wedding shower. You can also use different themes to create them for your own needs--a baby shower--anywhere where you want to give the Ladies a little favor for coming and celebrating. I have given many little parties like that in my day, House Warming party for a new house, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Pantry Showers for the new Bride. I am showing my age (married 30 years myself). I always made an economical party favor for the guests to take home. This fits the bill.

Staple the pages then cover with the strip of paper to cover the staple,,,, still use washie on the inside.... I'll add a paper clip use them as hidden paper clip book mark... Thank you for the ideas .
Hi, Cathy. First time viewer here and I wanted to say how much I enjoyed watching....and listening....to you. Cute idea, which as a card maker my thoughts wondered how I could use this sort of project in a card making class. At the very least this might be fun for a group of people to write notes on the pages to the receiver in a "from the gang" or "from all of us" occasion. I too thought about adding the outside seam cover after stapling which would be the thing to do if you didn't want or like the added layer so either way would work. And as a life-long seamstress I love the stitching! Between my sewing hoard and card making hoard, yes it's actually hoarding because it's way too much to be considered "stuff", I shouldn't have to buy anything to make these cute booklets!

As I was watching this lovely video, I thought a little envelope would make a cute pocket. Thank you for the unique ideas.
First time here! I absolutely love your project. Your index cards are huge compared to mine… if I fold mine, booklets may be quite small. So I’ll cut cardstock to your index card size and use them. I might use washi tape for the spine and doing it after stapling first would be two for one 😊. Can’t wait to make these. Could you please show how you use them in your journals? Tfs! You’re a wonderful teacher who sounds so kind and humble 🫶
Put them into pockets, tuck spots, tie them on the top of a small journal, place one in your satchel, give them as little thank you gift. Send out in happy mail. 💐🥰
