I just bought that exact bike last week. My last 2 bikes were a F4i and a 600rr. It's night and day between the 1000 and 600 how awesome this bike is. And you are right the color scheme is bad ass and every time I go out someone tells how bad ass my bike is.
The whole integrated taillight assembly is a BIG decision factor on getting a GSXR 1000.
Such a clean look.
Sadly Suzuki no longer has integrated turn signals on the rear nor on the side mirrors for 2017. I love my 2012 GSXR1000
OSUBuckeyes1 Haven't seen any 2017 pics yet...but minor details like that don't detract from a Suzuki, for me anyways.
CRF Rider Im a GSXR fan. Only model sportbike Ive ever owned but I definitely would have liked if they left perfect alone...
OSUBuckeyes1 Right...I'm a GSXR fan myself. my first bike after I passed the endorsement test on a 250cc standard... was a Hayabusa.
2005 was said to be the best combo of engine, chassis/suspension and looks.
But I'm not brand loyal either, mainly because they ( all the companies ) keep changing stuff.
I'm a Honda rider for now.
Still like suzukis though.
GSXR RIDER Hyabusa isn't part of the GSX-R lineup. It's part of the GSX lineup, like the Katana.
I was searching for some baby gixxer (155 cc) review videos and came across this one. ^_^ Beautiful bike, awesome video. I do not know why, I found this video much more satisfying than other review videos of the GSXR 1000. Maybe the beautiful morning weather made the bike's color look so much more glossy and pleasant to watch :)
Hey man im loving these test rides. Also nice to see a liter bike rider test other similar bikes. Cuz otherwise all you get is " holy shit its fast. Theres power every where, no one needs this much power" lol

Just a tip, might want to look into getting a gyroscope camera mount for more professional clips showing off the motorcycle at the beginning as well as slowing down these said clips. Other than that, love the videos!

This 1000cc bike has the fattest midrange of all the 1000s on the market, because it's bore to stroke ratio is the most torque-biased. Very good feeling on the street at liveable speeds. I tested the 2016 GSX-R1000 and then the Hayabusa. I felt like the 1000 was quicker below about 80. Looking forward to the new 2017 variable cam timing engine.

The headlight on the 1000 is so much better than the 750 and I really like the angry goose sound which seems more prominent on the 750 the 1000 had a lot of whine to it and didn't seem to sound as good when I rode it. You made the deer run when you were close to them which amuses me because my bike makes animals run when I'm like a quarter of a mile+ from them or at least it feels like a quarter of a mile. I don't see many animals when I'm riding my bike even birds will fly away if they are near me.
What is with the goofy music in the Intro ?? Did someone die ??? LOL Otherwise, another great video from the AK man. Always enjoy the humour.
I have a 2014 Suzuki gsxr 600 and I love it so much
glad they changed the front end finally i hated that cyclops rounded nose they had for awhile.. alot of peps hate on the gsxr's but they are great bikes. easy to work on, lots of parts around, and pretty rock solid. I have a 09 gsxr 600 and over 20k miles on her and ive had to do nothing but regular maintenance and tires. Thumbs up!

The stock pipes sound pretty good. GSXR are just known to be very comfortable Sportbikes. .

I've been wanting to trade my Harley and get into a sport bike. I think I've found the one. Except the red/black is more my color. BTW great video!

I love the GSX-R, it's comfy comfy with a lot of extras for your money, it's well suited for short riders like myself and there's mods out there like crazy! Plus they have the BEST color schemes out there, my only complaint is that the front end is horrendous and the 600 looks even worse I think. Only thing I think this bike needs is an actual fuel gauge and a steering damper.
it has an electric steering damper, so it isn't visible
We laugh about 'gixxer squids' and make jokes for people who have a gsxr . But the truth is theres never been made a more reliable 1000 supersport bike since 2005. And that clean cut bulky looks are really sexy. This model is the most beautiful spec ever made along with the blue red white and gold black schemes k7 in matters of gixxers in my book same goes for the 1100 92

I am with you on Gixxers mate, I love them. Thank GOD they are bringing the souped up version with all the toys our this year so MCN & Co. can shut up about it being outdated!
alls I know is that a No is that if you have to ask any motovlogger, what bike should I get or what sport bike should I get what do you think would be the best bike I should get, the best bike you should get is the best bike that fits you or you should know because it would be the bike that you always wanted to know about what anybody else would like its what you like yourself! just like me I like Suzuki I'm a GSXR guy or in RM guy you know as for dirt bikes that's why I said RM but for people who don't know what I was talking about when I said rm! but anyway just like for supermoto I will get the DR Z400! because I'm Suzuki all the way just like quads I wouldn't get, the quad racer 400! basically if nobody doesn't get it by now then you won't get it so that's that but I love your videos man and keep it up!
You might want to remove the key fob before it wears the anodization off of the upper clamp. Nice ride, BTW.

I have the same exact bike planning on changing the sprocket what gear ratio is best for street as i want to increase torque and lower the RPM any recommendation
Like the video test ride. I had a 05 didn't like the others after that but now looking to buy a 15. I see you road both 05 & 15 i would like to know your opinion in the difference between the two I myself still feel the 05 was the best Gsxr but I'm liking that the 15 looks a lot like the old 05. do you think this 15 with the powerband mold have the exact same power if not more or less than the 05?.

L2 to L5 gixxer are the best to me,engine feel stronger than the k5,and had better top end for sur
handling and brake there's no match

hi TheAK47s,how does the power delivery of the '15 gsxr1000 with more emission controls, compare with the raw power delivery of the '05 you reviewed.Just about to purchase a new 2016 GSXR1000.
Great review of a great bike. I just bought a 2015 GSRX600 in the same colour scheme, but will upgrade to a 1000 by the end of the year. This review just reaffirmed why i should. Thanks mate :)

Thanks man, it's the RHOK Lycan helmet. They don't make them anymore because the company stopped producing things. But thank you. It's a nice helmet for sure

i bought a k6 last year.love the power.compare to the 2015 it as no switch a b c.like he said the k5-k6 where the cream of the crop.i wouldve bought a 2015-2016 but it was out of my budget.one day.but for now if you wanta bike without the electronic a b c things get a k5-k6.
I had 06 gsxr1000 luv it rode the shyt outa of it put 70000 miles on it and never had any problems unfortunately I sold it cause of personal issues :/ suxxx miss it .
the 05 - 06 gsxr 1000 or the 15 ? im looking for comfort and power

+Omar Mohamed I would stay away from a 1000, espeially coming from a 125. I would say you could upgrade to a 600 from a 125, but id recommend something like a CBR500 or something of the such for a little and then upgrading again after getting used to a bigger bike
By any chance have you gotten a chance to test ride the gsxr 750. I was wondering if you can maybe get your hands on it and make a video on it and maybe compare it to the 600 and 1000 gsxr. As far as power usability for street use and highway speeds.
Trying to find out if the 750 is a good balance between the two

I love the GSXR 1000! did they come with the k8 motor this year? cuz I know the 2016 has the k-8 motor back in it! the GSXR 1000 2017 has the K-8 motor again,from what I'm hereing about anyway.
It certainly feels like the old motor but I couldn't tell you for sure
the 2017 gsx-r will have a completely new engine

+BIKES BLADES/GUN'S The 2017 motor will be a huge leap ahead of the current model, it has to be, as its been left eating dust by the other Litre bikes, espc the R1, Aprilia RSVR, Panigale etc....Its a great old school street bike, but well behind now in electronics, power and even looks. It will be similar to the new ZX10, which is a big step up from the current model. I think the biggest difference will be with the electronics with regards to going fast around bends or on the track.

Sarunas Survila have a k61000 and a k12 basically same with k15 . k6 is the real ride. the problem is most of em left are fucked up. mine thank god got it as a second owner from an old dude.like new only 2000km when i got mine now she has 21.000 so still like new
k6 is playstation full power from 3000rpm
k9+ is like a minor upgrated k7 750 feeling
but ergonomics and handling k12 k15 is much better and much more comfortable for the wrists
but if.you want a real 1000. old school k5 k6 my cup of tea also k9+ weird handlebars vibration after 100km touring paste

I only ask this again because I remember you mentioning how you wanted to get a brand new bike, you being the only owner, the one that knows all the bikes history. I personally think that after hearing your review, and having heard the history of GSXR's you should pick one up :)

never really liked gixxers. good cool bikes . lighting fast but hideous sound horrible brakes lazy turns and them stock pipes remind of a tourer or a long gone era of bikes exhausts systems.also i cant get over the 90s headlight. is like my daily blackbird 1999 design. they have a really sexy rear and beautiful side fairings desing though
