Everyone's missing the point. They're all so good and so close in performance you can't go wrong. So get the bike your heart is set on. The specs really don't matter.
Lol Bike doesn't make the rider... Rider makes the bike... I'd pick any of them over the Honda..... They continually dish out nonsense for a ridiculous price. It's as if they're trying to be the Ducati of Japanese bikes, but they never deliver the European Flair.
Texarmageddon What do you mean this bike weighs alot less than most of these bikes here plus with 10 more hp and electronics how is honda wrong? And euro flair? When most of my bros saw the front end they thought it was a ducati.
Carlitox b Well there are a lot of good things with the new CBR. Can't really say they were paid... they were just saying all the things Honda improved upon.
Instead of arguing like complete and total idiots, take a moment to appreciate the fact that there are 7 brands putting in 100% of their engineering resources into building masterpieces as we've seen here.
Liam Ryan I was thinking the same thing. The sound was previously so bad on these vids. Now it's perfect. Thanks so much for sorting that out. Really appreciate the effort.
Steve C the suzuki on average has 10 to 15% more tq and hp throughout the entire midrange compared to the rest of the bikes because of its vvt, mcn has there dyno overlay out if youbare curious
I bet no one on here could push any of these bikes near to there limits, go out test ride the ones you fancy then make ya choice, they are all great bikes
James Unwin do a few track days and you'll push all of these to their limits. Pick a short track to get lots of laps in and get a good rhythm. You'll use maximum power, lean angle, brakes etc.
you guys are the first who make the shootout for the latest superbike, and this video is really good. *edited : the fireblade comes as a winner of this year superbike shootout really surprise me. really. I think the R1M, S1000RR or RSV4-RF gonna be the winner
MCN, if you want to keep your UA-cam channel growing keep up this good work. the sound is better, everyone's getting a lot more comfortable in front if the camera with more planning behind what they're saying. if you keep it up there is no reason you can't be the number 1 source of motorbike vids. I want to see MCN continue to thrive and this is part of its future so keep it up!
When I was watching this and they said their second place was Ducati, my jaw dropped and then I screamed out load! I said "CycleCruza is gonna go crazy that the Fireblade is back!" LOL
Def the cheapest.....but has some painfully awkward and ugly styling. The fire extinguisher exhaust canister strapped to the side is the perfect cherry on time of this sh!t Sunday. Why can't they get decent looking headlight. Looks like a mini 06 gsxr600 headlight. Just doesn't fit.
+sickboy3636 The good thing is, if the exhaust is the worst feature it's easy to swap it for a different better looking one. There's probably also a little weight saving and power gain as well :)
all bikes are bad ass but bmw still the best for the road. love the cruse control and heated grips. they just can't keep picking it to be #1 all the time lol
In 2005 at a track day with Whit and Haydon I asked what is the best bike for me to buy next after my ZX9R , They said Honda makes average riders do good lap times cos theyre very easy to ride , GSXR is a great bike everywhere inc price, 1098R was exceptional if your a VERY experienced and capable rider with lots of money, but in the end they're all good and you will go best on the bike that YOU like best as they are all better than or more capable than most track day riders are gong to get out of them, In all that time my opinion hasn't changed so guys whatever bike you like the style of , the colour of , muted howl from the exhaust, favourite bsb or wsb rider rides, just get that one, you know you will change Brakes, Suspension, Exhaust, Tyres, and fairings /colours , so just Go with what you like best and you will get the most enjoyment on it, Have fun and stay safe , The Great Boldini #42
Thanks for the video, I've been waiting anxiously for this one for quite a bit! I'm still surprised the gsxr didn't do so good. I just sat on a gsxr and a fireblade, even though I'm a short guy, the fireblade felt cramped. The gsxr just felt perfect to me. I can't wait to test ride them and give my own veredict on which one will be my next superbike. Thanks for your point of view anyways, good job!
Been riding my 04 Fireblade for ten years now, 40K miles on it in Colorado, and have loved every minute of it. Getting ready to pull the trigger on a new one but am also considering the R1. I like the reasons why the CBR won this. It is a "do everything good" bike and I like that. Weight, cornering, and braking are just as important where I ride as the power, so this is a helpful review ... Just wish the R1 got a little more review on this because it's really the only other one I'd consider out of this bunch.
This wins the most comprehensive review on earth award. Incredible detail. You guys are the best. As a Honda rider I had my fingers crossed for the Fireblade. It delivered. Well done Honda. The quality factor really does go a long way. More riding, less headaches.
Great work MCN..! Great to see a real world test. It's not about peak power, it has never been. They are all extremely powerful. Lightness, looks, character, quality of build and most importantly how these machines makes you feel is where it's at...
I was definitely expecting the Ducati to win because it's such a amazing motorcycle and by far the fastest and the lightest and electronics is nothing you can compare to the competition it's definitely on an another level
This is a great video MCN! So glad you achieved once again the quality we expected from you, and the audio is pretty much up to standard, including the music
I can't understand how is it that the ZX10RR comes last... This is a bike that has been dominating the last few seasons of WSBK championship, and is also pretty much up there in the other classes of the WSBK championship... Obviously it very much restricted and de-tuned to meet Emission Restrictions, but still... Kawasaki rules!!!!!!!
now this is by far the best shootout ive ever seen. great job. i want to see more of these two or this style of shootouts. others on here and other channels normally have one or two special editions in against normal supersports. so this shootout to me was by far the fairest and also seemed like they literally tested every dimension of the bikes. good job
Great video, I've been looking forward to this. Honestly tho, all these bikes are fantastic . Unless your a racer or at the sharp end of an advanced track group, I don't think the differences in power will matter.
Best motorcycle review channel anywhere! Superb sound editing and clarity, just the right mix of onboard shots and rider/action shots. Good job MCN Best Litre Bike Comparo ever!
Kudos to you MCN team. Remember 3 years ago when you still had the Potato Camera from 2008? You've come very far with your equipment this time around. Very well summed up test there too. Kudos to Neeves and team :) If I may point out a tip, when you flash the numbers at the end of the video, please do consider listing the kerb weight alongside the Dyno HP/TQ numbers so people can get a better understanding of the difference :)
Purchased my base Duc 1299 in 2016 new. After much instruction and about 12 trackdays (no crashes) my speed has gone up and up. I never thought I would be passing everyone in the intermediate group... .almost A level rider now. Bike is so easy to turn, so light and just stupid power from bottom to the top. Honestly see myself keeping this bike forever.
The thing with rating the bikes according to their performance on a single track is it's very limiting on the indications of the bikes actual potential. But then again, such reviews are also necessary in order to have a baseline reference of what one should expect from a bike. I'd still get that Gixxer though. It seems to be a sweet package with lots of potential waiting to be unlocked.
The standard FireBlade with the quick shifter is looking good to me. Spoiled for choice i am still resisting all the bells and whistles hanging onto my 2011 fireblade.
blip98 I thought the oil burning issue was for 08-09. your the first person the I heard that had an oil burn issue for the 11. I'm so glad my 2012 doesn't burn oil and I beat the shit out of it.
Yep i almost got caught out big time did back to back ride days just after 6,000 km work shop service dropped the oil the following day to find it black as tar and only had just over a liter left.
blip98 Thanks for sharing the story bro. I'm looking to upgrade from an old Honda VFR750. I was entertaining the 08-11 gen CBR1000rr but after hearing your experiences and "1000rr" experiences, I may look at the 12+ gen CBR1000rr.
Can't understand how you can criticise the R1M & RSV4 RF for being too track focused when that is exactly what they are ! It's what they are all supposed to be - if you want a sports tourer or adventure bike non of these should be on the list ! The Honda is just a re-jigged version of a near 10 year old model. My personal choice would be RSV4 rf & R1M joint 1st Gsxr 3rd beemer 4th Zx10r 5th pannigale 6th & old blade with new dash 7th ! Ps this has nothing to do with me having an RSV4 & wanting an R1M - honest 😂🍻
Maybe learn to read the title of this video before you vape. Its a Road bike evaluation not Track. Still the new Blade was faster than everything non Ducati/BMW. So yeah.. 10 year old Blade beating the crap out of 2015 all new models around a track. How Embarrassing.
I don't Vape ! I can read fine - with my glasses on !! 🤓 I am saying these bikes RSV4 & R1M are MEANT for the TRACK - don't you agree ?? I have never seen either with panniers on ! Oh and it's 2017 - I think !! Peace ✌️
This shootout is for the best bike you can buy right now for the money that is going to be an everyday motorbike for the Road. Therefore the heading says "Road Test". Sure the RSV4 and the R1M are dedicated track bikes, but so are the other bikes on this list. Except for the Suzuki, these bikes all compete in super modified avatar in WSBK. Suzuki competes in Moto America and other events. The winner was the 3rd fastest motorcycle on the track but the most adoptable motorcycle for the road regardless of the conditions. There's a reason Ohlins charges $3k for those semi-active 100times/second adjustable on the fly suspension.
I agree they are going to be ridden on the road, but these are essentially the race / track focused versions, they are all available in more standard / lower spec form. I know 95% of them will be used on the road, they come road legal for sales & WSB homologation. But they are the R/RR/RF/S/M/SP/Sport versions aimed at the track - hence I don't see it as a valid criticism to say they are 'too track focused' an observation maybe but not a criticism !
test rode the gsxr and the cbr sp. the honda was horrible. suzuki is a lovely bike for the track and the road and feels substantially faster and more fun. didn't buy either as felt I needed something less track orientated.
Fair? The zx10r is the fastest in sbk... its been the fastest since its release... now in 2019 the v4 has been taking the crown but the zx10r still holds up...
You guys are really amazing to get all the premium bikes and to put a shootout and spending lot of time on the bike and just to give the analysis so great I hope u guys had a great time riding that bike..
IJS everyone... S1000RR revision made it the most comfortable bike and they even said it does everything right and it's one of the fastest in everything, but lacks character... Yet, CBR wins... I'm an R1 fan, but come on guys... CLEARLY... I MEAN CLEARLY... The S1000 should have won this comparison.... Hell you guys did the 1299 the same way... Let's tell viewers it does everything right.... and how easy they are to ride.. but because the CBR is the easiest we'll give it first... Bike deserved 3rd... not first.
Agreed. I own a 2016 S1000RR that I canyon and track with. I've ridden the other bikes and there's no debate on which bike is best all around for people that are going to ride on the street. If you want the best track-only bike, the R1 reigns supreme.
BMW is a very good bike, sure. But active suspensions are not as good as good standard suspensions. No doubt about that. Try to change spring on these electronics suspensions... Change your stock electronic suspensions for some good parts, then you ll have a beast. S1000RR still tiring on tracks. You need a very good physical condition to exploit it.
The GSXR was designed to be better still on the road and track than the s1k, don't be so quick to assume the BMW should win. I agree that they basically judged this test by determining which liter bike was most like a 600 though.
Same here seems like they did a good job on the engine. I thought it would place higher than 5th. At the same time it is a new bike unlike the rest except the CBR. So maybe next year after some more R&D they will improve the bike. Hopefully we finally get a newer Hayabusa to compete with the ZX-14r also lol.
Thoughtful, considered comments - a breath of fresh air. Well done! Now if only we could get that type of in-depth reporting done on this side of the pond...
The Lap times of the bikes as well as their overall position: 2) Ducati 1299 Panigale S--------1:29.91 3) BMW S1000RR Sport-------------1:30.23 1) Honda Fireblade SP*-----------1:31.03 (only this available at time of test and not SP2) 5) Suzuki GSX-R1000R-------------1:31.36 4) Yamaha R1M--------------------1:31.51 no auto blipper on downshift 6) Aprilia RSV4 RF---------------1:31.51 7) Kawasaki ZX-10RR--------------1:31.88
they always have the strong engine shame they cant hire a designer for looking of their because they hire so many good enginers to make a perfect engine hahahah
Call my crazy, but the zx10r is BY FAR the best looking imao. No bike besides the Aprilia looks bad in my opinion, but the zx10r just looks so refined and simple, yet elegant
Good god. The Welsh bit on this clip is my old home town of Llandrindod Wells !!! This is probably the most exciting thing that's happened there in years.
I owned a 2015 Yamaha R1 last year. I traded it for a 2017 Harley Davidson street glide special. I like my Harley but damn I miss my R1!!! I don't know how much longer I can stand it. I've owned a 2012 CBR 1000RR before the R1 so I might get the latest gen CBR, or buy another R1.... I wish I could have these dudes job. Its not fair. lolSweet video guys. Keep it coming.
That is the SP model in the video. The SP2 is for race teams only and not available for public sale. It weighs as much as the standard blade at 195 kilos.
Lifted_Above : to me that really doesn't matter. For me it's about the balance and the suspension of the bike. Even the electronics still weren't necessary if it were up to me. As always, Honda go for durability figures, not horsepower figures. Indeed a little bit more top end was necessary, but they've adressed that now.
0-60, the old Blade was already doing 2.6 seconds. This might be a tad quicker with the lower weight and power bump. Here's a chart showing you the 2013 Fireblade SP's performance against the 2015 rivals. www.cycleworld.com/g00/2_d3d3LmN5Y2xld29ybGQuY29t_/TU9SRVBIRVVTMTMkaHR0cDovL3d3dy5jeWNsZXdvcmxkLmNvbS9zaXRlcy9jeWNsZXdvcmxkLmNvbS9maWxlcy9zdHlsZXMvbGFyZ2VfMXhfL3B1YmxpYy9pbXBvcnQvZW1iZWRkZWQvd3AtY29udGVudC91cGxvYWRzLzIwMTUvMDYvQlktVEhFLU5VTUJFUlMtQ0hBUlQtV0VCLVVTRS5qcGc%2FaXRvaz0zLXV1N1FKRSZpMTBjLm1hcmsuaW1hZ2UudHlwZQ%3D%3D_$/$/$/$/$/$/$/$/$/$/$/$/$/$
I want to say - great video, I normally shy away from long review videos on youtube but this was really good. Great footage, great audio, and thought-out chat. Really well done, I hope this is a sign of things to come on MCN's youtube channel. My opinion is that a GSXR with an aftermarket slip-on or even better a full system would be transformed and give the other bikes a better contest and still very much in the ballpark on price.
Repsol!
Ian Jacob it seems like Honda paid every body because everybody is talking good things about the new Honda CBR 1000RR
Yeah, right.
Gsx r :l
Fkn well said mate 👏👏👏 as a non biker but someone looking to learn and get one….ALL of these blow my mind…and I’d take anyone of them in a heartbeat 😂
start on a 600
not anymore lmao
"Can you make the GSXR-1000 exhaust look like we bolted on a mini keg to the back?"
Suzuki: "Say no more fam."
My Dream Schedule ...
Monday - Suzuki GSXR1000R
Tuesday - Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE
Wednesday - Aprilia RSV4 RF
Thursday - Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade
Friday - Ducati Panigale V4
Saturday - BMW S1000RR
Sunday - MV Agusta F4 RC
& of course KTM Superduke R owns the Night !!
The sound and quality of your vids has improved massively
Liam Ryan I was thinking the same thing. The sound was previously so bad on these vids. Now it's perfect. Thanks so much for sorting that out. Really appreciate the effort.
A dyno grapph overlay would be nice to show what's stronger in the bottom end and midrange.
For real, they pretty much never touched on that
All this stuff will come out in time, for now it's just nice to see the first comparison test personally
The Ducati, BMW and the Aprilia have a wicked midrange. Not sure about the new 'zuki.
Steve C the suzuki on average has 10 to 15% more tq and hp throughout the entire midrange compared to the rest of the bikes because of its vvt, mcn has there dyno overlay out if youbare curious
Well the Suzuki is certainly the ugliest. They're styling is painfully bad. Thats not even taking the laughable enormous exhaust into account.
I bet no one on here could push any of these bikes near to there limits, go out test ride the ones you fancy then make ya choice, they are all great bikes
James Unwin Exactly. unless you're going for gold medals on one, you really can't go wrong!
James Unwin do a few track days and you'll push all of these to their limits. Pick a short track to get lots of laps in and get a good rhythm. You'll use maximum power, lean angle, brakes etc.
James Unwin agreed bro
James Unwin no one??? Pretty sure a lot of racers follow MCN
well if you're street racing you will need all the power you can get
GSX-R uses nuclear cooling tower as a muffler.
Yev Zakharov you deserve more likes.
If only there was a way for you to change that...
No I believe the muffler doubles as a glove Department
You could pickup tennis balls with that thing
thanks to bullshit euro4 standarts
That gsxr exhaust is bigger than my future.
Lol 😂
Hahahahahha😂😂
I believe you 😆
Gsxr 1000r is a winner in my book...the fastest 1/4, great price, nice bodywork.
cry somewhere else,kid
@@giorgigiorgitko248 whose crying.
Everyone complains about the size of stock exhaust, there is something know as aftermarket.
That's what pisses me off. If you own a motorcycle, you improve on the imperfections of the motorcycle.
Yes you do, if you own a litre class you must be having money to fill it and personalize it.
aka Travis I don't like to buy an aftermarket one..
That's your choice mate
Take the exhaust away and the Suzuki is still hideously ugly. They desperately need to hire some new styling engineers.
you guys are the first who make the shootout for the latest superbike, and this video is really good.
Love the Roars of the Aprillia RSV4 ! It just gives you the Feelsssss of a True Motorcycle......... Upz
Very impressive testing, I get the feeling that you can't really go wrong with any of those bike, its more of what you like.
Very impressed with the gixxer numbers.
least HP and has better performance than a 1299
let the Suzuki reign it will become the fastest and best believe me
BAM! CBR 1000 DOUBLE R IS BACK ON TOP!!! Haters gonna hate!
CycleCruza yeeeeaayyyy dude
CycleCruza Honda fanboys
CycleCruza Does this change your mind about not getting one? 🙄
When I was watching this and they said their second place was Ducati, my jaw dropped and then I screamed out load! I said "CycleCruza is gonna go crazy that the Fireblade is back!" LOL
RDX GAMING NETWORK
Suzuki GSX-R1000R is the best of value for me.

The throttle on the GSXR is a jerky piece of s**t and dangerous...ride this and the RSV4 back to back
NineGap Thitisak ua-cam.com/video/XnkQgtZQgkc/v-deo.html
NineGap Thitisak Best value cuz you get a nuclear reactors as a muffler...
much better video! everything from editing & sound, about time. Enjoyed the reviews!
I'm so in love with a GSX-R it just a beautiful well made meachine 💘😍 Suzuki take my Money.
all bikes are bad ass but bmw still the best for the road. love the cruse control and heated grips. they just can't keep picking it to be #1 all the time lol

I think all brands are very welcome and each of them has its own adherence!

Finding Neutral were still waiting on your videos as mine
sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy you guys finally got your audio straight!!!
The GSX-R is beautiful and the power is outstanding very light flickable I love my 2017, Suzuki did a great job this year.
If you extend the rear axle about 12-20mm (depends on your overall suspension setup) it'll flop side-to-side and STABLE like it weights 200 lbs.
This wins the most comprehensive review on earth award. Incredible detail. You guys are the best. As a Honda rider I had my fingers crossed for the Fireblade. It delivered. Well done Honda. The quality factor really does go a long way. More riding, less headaches.
Suzuki did great cheapest bike out of the bunch and fastest 1/4 mile
Ive got 4000miles on my
2018 gsxr1000r and everyone has been delightful.
Great work MCN..! Great to see a real world test. It's not about peak power, it has never been. They are all extremely powerful. Lightness, looks, character, quality of build and most importantly how these machines makes you feel is where it's at...
Honda fireblade Sound is like spiting fire 💥💥
Probably the best quality MCM vid I've seen to date. Good job boys. Finally had decent sound!
GSXR's exhaust made it look like a garbage truck.
I could not agree more!
The throttle response in A mode is like a rodeo... such a shame, loved the mid corner stability on the L7
Ugliest ever.
Nobody is gonna roll with stock anyways
Its not hard to make a garbage truck look like a garbage truck.
I still like the BMW, I think it's the best looking and most well rounded.
I don't have a clue what you're talking about.
S1k is still the bike to beat...
the rsv4 makes me happy in my pants
I must wholeheartedly agree :)
Yup
Great test despite the great weather! The Honda must be one hell of a bike....nice surprise winner!!!
I was definitely expecting the Ducati to win because it's such a amazing motorcycle and by far the fastest and the lightest and electronics is nothing you can compare to the competition it's definitely on an another level

blip98 did you have the oil burning issues with your generation(08-11) Blade?
Yep i was shocked to discover just how much normal road use it's fine but you have to keep a close eye on your oil level if your going to the track.

I am saying these bikes RSV4 & R1M are MEANT for the TRACK - don't you agree ??
S K The fireblade is actually a new bike. They have changed it a lot after 8 years. Maybe some research would help.
GREAT to see MCN have really stepped up there video Quality.
test rode the gsxr and the cbr sp. the honda was horrible. suzuki is a lovely bike for the track and the road and feels substantially faster and more fun. didn't buy either as felt I needed something less track orientated.
Good review. Disappointed the ZX10RR came last but thought the whole review was pretty balanced and a fair conclusion I suspect
Fair? The zx10r is the fastest in sbk... its been the fastest since its release... now in 2019 the v4 has been taking the crown but the zx10r still holds up...
18:50 main thing start from here
You guys are really amazing to get all the premium bikes and to put a shootout and spending lot of time on the bike and just to give the analysis so great I hope u guys had a great time riding that bike..
BMW always the best all-around bike you can buy since its Inception.
My top 3 dream bike's are
1. BMW S1000RR
2. HONDA CBR 1000RR (Fireblade)
3. SUZUKI GSX-R 1000R
GSX-R1000R
We're living in the golden era of superbikes. What a lineup!
Awsome comparison test ! Adam is so good at describing each bike. Thank you guys for the fantastic work you put into this video.
Your best video to date, really good effort put into this one! :)
Tim Trombley yeah I don't understand this review at all
BMW is a very good bike, sure.
Texarmageddon why don't you make your own review version, rather than just complaining?
The GSXR was designed to be better still on the road and track than the s1k, don't be so quick to assume the BMW should win. I agree that they basically judged this test by determining which liter bike was most like a 600 though.
The best shoot out video I've seen, well produced and great content, well done MCN.
I really like the new Fireblade. That bike is awesome.Great review guys.
Much awaited video, loved it
Their all amazing, but I just bought the Rsv4 and couldn’t be happier 🤗
Thx MCN, been waiting for this test.. BLAAAAAAADE
wow didnt see that coming :=) Suzuki seems to have very strong engine..
Same here seems like they did a good job on the engine. I thought it would place higher than 5th. At the same time it is a new bike unlike the rest except the CBR. So maybe next year after some more R&D they will improve the bike. Hopefully we finally get a newer Hayabusa to compete with the ZX-14r also lol.
because Honda paid them the most.
Strong engine in a motorcycle doesn't mean much, ask Ducati how they are doing in MotoGP.
Easy to ride at the limit is what sets the Honda apart.
Rage Quit87 So ducati wins and they don't pay but when the dull bike wins they paid....tf kind of logic is that?
NinJayMan 😂😂😂😂😂hell yea. Suzuki is my fav!
As a 2018 Honda CBR1000RR owner I have to agree with this video. The quality, conform make me a happy customer
GSXR sounds by far the best to me :-)
Thoughtful, considered comments - a breath of fresh air. Well done!
Now if only we could get that type of in-depth reporting done on this side of the pond...
How they ranked them...
1) Honda CBR 1000RR (Fireblade)
2) Ducati 1299 Panigale S
3) BMW S1000RR
4) Yamaha R1-M
5) Suzuki GSX-R 1000R
6) Aprilia RSV4 RF
7) Kawasaki ZX-10RR
fireblade is the king ...for all time ....
Mv agusta f4 rr
Ktm rc8r
Suzuki,,, man
Suzuki no1😎
I agree. The Yamaha R1 has THE sweetest exhaust note on any superbike at the moment. Beats even the sweet Aprilia.
This is one of the best tests ever seen
The Lap times of the bikes as well as their overall position:
2) Ducati 1299 Panigale S--------1:29.91
3) BMW S1000RR Sport-------------1:30.23
1) Honda Fireblade SP*-----------1:31.03 (only this available at time of test and not SP2)
5) Suzuki GSX-R1000R-------------1:31.36
4) Yamaha R1M--------------------1:31.51 no auto blipper on downshift
6) Aprilia RSV4 RF---------------1:31.51
7) Kawasaki ZX-10RR--------------1:31.88
Suzuki Gixxer seems to have very strong engine..
they always have the strong engine shame they cant hire a designer for looking of their because they hire so many good enginers to make a perfect engine hahahah
Its about that time! Thank you MCN!
So the Suzuki is the Rocket ship, needs better brakes, and needs sharper looks....Best inline 4 sound ?!
Im gonna wacth this every time..this is the best..
how many miles did these have on the clock i have seen the new suzuki make much more power than this one did on a couple of different dynos
Best shootout i ever seen! I dont 100% agree with the results, but honda have really step forward with the new fireblade, and it looks so gorgeous!
I'll have one of each, thank you very much!
Thank you MCN!
Why no MV Agusta???
coz nobody has one :D
TheKamar2, surely less than others, but still not a complete superbike shootout. Not even mentioned..
TheKamar2 lol
It's at the Dealer getting repaired under Warranty
No euro 4 superbike
Gsx and s1000 rr both are winner.true racing machines
The Panigale is the best looking of the class
Canadian Rider R1-M is pretty sexy aswell
Call my crazy, but the zx10r is BY FAR the best looking imao. No bike besides the Aprilia looks bad in my opinion, but the zx10r just looks so refined and simple, yet elegant
I think the zx10r is to bulky at the front... The R1 is the best looking! 🔥🔥
Fireblade looks the best
I think the Ducati’s do look good and sexy but the new r1m is absolutely stunning, same with the Aprilia and zx10
Good god. The Welsh bit on this clip is my old home town of Llandrindod Wells !!! This is probably the most exciting thing that's happened there in years.
The Honda is gorgeous, but it's the GSXR for me!
Finally! a 30 min video ! Thankyou!
A mic being used?? *falls off chair*
Thanks for taking the time with the production 👍
I so look forward to MCN Superbike Group test..great job team
Shame that there is no good footage of dyno and quarter mile runs in the video
I owned a 2015 Yamaha R1 last year. I traded it for a 2017 Harley Davidson street glide special. I like my Harley but damn I miss my R1!!! I don't know how much longer I can stand it. I've owned a 2012 CBR 1000RR before the R1 so I might get the latest gen CBR, or buy another R1.... I wish I could have these dudes job. Its not fair. lolSweet video guys. Keep it coming.
great shoot-out, glad to see honda is back on top of their game. But can i ask how much did the fireblade weigh?
MrWillemdr around 420lbs., but I believe that is the SP2 model bcuz of the forged wheels it comes with
That is the SP model in the video. The SP2 is for race teams only and not available for public sale. It weighs as much as the standard blade at 195 kilos.
On top of something. Certainly not 0-60, 0-100, 1/4 mile, or horsepower.

Belo custo benefício tenho uma Suzuki 1000r a ano 2020 é demais mesmo.
long live the blade
Great test, and suprised about the winner , but I’d be happy with any of them cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
Great review !
