No offense intended. This will be my 1st laser so I am just learning. The glass tumbler that you did looks very streaky and there a re little dots on the blank space. Is this what should be expected when doing glass or have you perfected this some. Personally I would never sell a glass piece that look like the engrave is inconsistent.
You can hoan your engraving to get the results you are looking for. Higher lines per cm will give a cleaner look. You can also lower the power or change the speed. I definitely recommend running a test grid and finding those perfect settings. I wouldn't say that the imperfections are due to this particular laser. You can engrave glass beautifully with a diode and the right settings.
GOOD AS ALWAYS!
Your videos are so well made and informative! Could you, pretty please, show cutting and engraving real leather (not faux) with Vista?
Thank you! Yes, I'll add it to my list. I do have some and so far it's working well.
Please please please could you do a video of a tapper 20 oz and a 40 oz stanley shape on the vista
If you have the risers on but put the tray back in, do you still need to wear the glasses or just if the tray is not in place?
No. I tested it a few times and the base is completely covered when it's set up that way, no light coming through.
