I just got an XTool S1 and this was the tutorial that got me up and running and actually doing stuff. Thank you for the clear explanation and step by step. 👍
Thank you so much for this. I've had mine for a couple of weeks and have been trying to figure out how to get started. After a few hours today I stumbled across this tutorial. Now, I can begin learning my machine.
Brilliant... the perfect video to get my head around the software. Just invested in an F1 and the software was a little much to get my head into. Thanks.
This is the best video on xcs I have watched. Thank you for putting it together and keeping it current. Xtool keeps updating XCS which is nice but each time you almost have to relearn where they moved things to. In your video I didn't see how to change the dithering, grayscale, jarvis, etc. Can you use the software to run2 machines at the same time? If I am doing a challenge coin on my F1ultra it may take a couple hours and I may want to use my S1 on a simple engrave for example.
I'm so glad to hear this was helpful! I did a separate video on image engraving, it was a deep topic and it needed it's own space. ua-cam.com/video/K0F1m1Y8Uvg/v-deo.html Yes, you can run 2 machines at once. You may have to play around with how they are hooked up. I know some people ran into issues running 2 machines on USB. But the software is set up to multiple machines! Just minimize the processing, open a new tab and connect your S1.
hi.can you tell me why some layouts are not fully visible in the programm with creative space,in the program inskape everything is visible, but in creative space only part, thanks
I have a S1 and in the processing area I can’t figure out how to delete the marked area and start again. Your M1 has a drop down arrow and says delete marked area. This new update is tricky to navigate.
I misspoke! Good catch. The layer order is reflected in the top box where the colors are listed, the objects underneath are the vectors within each color. When the project did cut I had moved the layers accordingly so it engraved then cut.

Wow. Very detailed and easy to follow along. Impressive. Thank you very much.

You are so very welcome! 😄

Thank you so, so much for this tutorial! Amazing!
This was awesome, really explained things. I am gonna try & upgrade my CS software. When I tried doing it once it just gave me a black screen.
Thanks for a great video lesson explained really informative and simple to understand.
Fantastic, your lesson was what I have been looking for. Great job explaining this software. Thank you, Thank you
Very nice review. Thank you! Where did XCS move the invert for dark material. Thank you for your time
It's in the area where you adjust the grey scale, at the base. Am not near to confirm the name.
Yes, when you have an image on the canvas use the adjust button on the top and invert is a check box at the very bottom.
Great! Thank you.
Great video . Makes it easier for a novice like me , cheers .👌
Thank you for this video, it was so helpful.
Thank you so much!!!😊
So excited for this!

How do you setup multiple layers?
I have a S1 and in the processing area I can’t figure out how to delete the marked area and start again. Your M1 has a drop down arrow and says delete marked area. This new update is tricky to navigate.
There is a flag on the top bar, once you have marked the area go to that button again and an option to delete the marked area will pop up.

At the 17:38 mark the layer shows green blue red, but you said the order is blue green red? I am confused 🤔

@@SarahVanderkooy Not trying to point out your mistake, I am just confused how the layers work? The top and bottom show different things?
How does trace work?
If you import and image (PNG or jpeg) you can trace it to turn it into an SVG that can be easily cut.
el programa no reconoce mi maquina algolaser 10 w
XCS solo funciona con láseres xTool
