This brought back some nice memories of my high school years in central NJ, in the early eighties. My dad and I trout fished all over the central and northern part of the state. Our favorites were the Musconetcong, the Pequest, Stony Brook, and Assunpink Creek. Great times. I sure miss fishing with my dad.
That sounds like the dream! Those rivers are some of my favorites too! Nj has so much good fishing to offer and so many pristine streams to enjoy! Thanks for tuning in!
Hey skye love your trout fishing videos and especially love that you are from Jersey like me. I always see you walking up streams and exploring and wanted to do the same but idk if I am allowed to do so if rivers flow through private land. Do you know if it is legal to walk a stream even if it is surrounded by private land. Thx.
I love this inspiration bro! Thank you for keeping the stoke at 100 here all the time! We’ll get there! One send at the time! No rush of course but we’ll be there

I like the simple fisherman’s knot. I make sure to spit on the line to sinch It down better. Also give the line a little pull cus especially with 6lb sometimes you get a bad knot randomly. Hope this helped 👊
Thank you Kenny! This a cool spot! Just found through exploring. Jersey has unlimited potential. Don’t listen to that guy who commented to u already. It’s 100% jersey lol. But that’s how I know I’m fishin the good spots cus people will think it’s somewhere else 😂 just means no one’s seen it or fished it 🤫 those are the best spots
I should give you good tip, when walking into the woods, not looking down for copperheads , bugs before you go out fishing in NJ, take a few dryer sheets with you, but them in your shirt pocket, and wipe 1 sheet down your arms, and around your shirt and neck.. Iam from NJ fishing since I was a kid...
I know EXACTLY where you are in long valley. Good stretch of river there on the south branch however, you didn't go to the BEST spot on that river. You stopped quite a bit before it. It's further down river. I caught my biggest brown and rainbow in that river, the bow was 9.3lbs and the brown was 10.7 lbs. Both are mounted duplicates on my wall
U just inspired me to move it to the usual time! All the senders are most likely sending on a beautiful Saturday morning like we have today 😎 good luck out there bro! Catch Em’ up!
Awesome video man. I moved to NJ a couple of years ago and finally got into the trout game recently. I've caught some nice rainbows in the Ramapo and Musconetcong Rivers. Definitely don't need the exact location, but would be great if you could let me know which river this is. Tight lines my guy!
i know youve fished it but, for the Musconetcong River, how is the river? shallow? deep? holes and shallow rocks? im planning to fish in the Hackettstown area of it and hoping to catch native trout or new trout species since ive only caught rainbows. thanks for the advice
Hi, just as I’m sending this comment, I’m not only realizing it’s called a HIDDEN jem and that I’m probably being annoying but where is this place. I’m on a run with trying to find trout.
Just read through comments. You response was this not NJ. Than you should change your title. If you are looking for sponsorship. The first they look at is honesty. A secret place should have been you heading. Good luck in the future ☮😎

what jig head to u use with 2 inch swimbait ? ty!
What rod and reel do you use for trout?

You got to get back to the Oswego flows are awesome right now
Oh man!!! I’ll be back real soon! Can’t wait to fish it!
@@TheSkyeLife you have to float fish with skein you’ll never bottom bounce again
What stream is this?
last time i took a hike off the beaten path up there i was almost waist deep in mud/quicksand.
Also not the best idea during hunting season
Gotta love it!! All part of the send! Haha
True true. Alwyss gotta watch out you don’t look too much like a deer
What brand of 2” swim baits do you use ?
keitech or bass pro speed shad
I'd love to know where this is?
Hey man what knot do you tie orverall?
I like the simple fisherman’s knot. I make sure to spit on the line to sinch It down better. Also give the line a little pull cus especially with 6lb sometimes you get a bad knot randomly. Hope this helped 👊
Whats the spinning set up that you're using?
Shimano nasci 1000, st. Croix triumph series light
The triumph light was the best rod I’ve ever had until I broke it on my car trunk :(
Ya got me guessing on this one! Pretty big water for Jersey, as per usual nice!
Because its not New Jersey.

Thank you!!! This was a fun day!
Great job! 👍
Thank you!!! Where do you fish? Sweden Norway area? I like your channel name. Sounds really cool. I’ll check out your vids!
@@TheSkyeLife So far I've been fishing in Sweden. Hopefully will try in Norway. There is much more chances to catch salmon over there
Wish I could watch the premiere, but im going fishing myself

It’s pretty shallow overall with nice pockets. U wanna find those good pools that are in the middle of nowhere. That’s where u will find nice fish

Great video! Do you know of any good creeks or rivers in south Jersey?
Forgot to wet your hands first before picking up the trout. 😊
I would not Subscribe to anyone that cannot honestly tell you the stream they are fishing
where are you fishing, I fly fish, catch and release.
Where is their
Hola Pedro. Soy pescador tambien
Gracias mi Amigo!
I would love to fish their
Try switching to fluoro to lose less fish. Trout rods are already very bendy, line should have no stretch.
I grew up there in the 60 and 70’s. You can keep,it. Just dont move up here to alaska
Polarized sunglasses??
Been using them on a off. These are prob my Waterland ones. They’re pretty good!
Flatbrook

Funny how he says this is NJ and I NEVER see a single piece of trash.
Still an Ahole comment after 2 years. No, there isn't trash all over.
