Before death kisses on my lips, I want to hear at least a hiss from these sort of Hifi systems. My life without a passion for music is like a graveyard littered with bones. Bro, enjoy your life. I am happy to be a mute spectator. I cannot afford a Hifi system like this. 👍👍

Nice! What’s the small device between the streamer and amplifier? And what type of cable connection between streamer and amp?
The small device is a Samsung SSD disk, I store my music there. The cable I use is AN brown PALLAS II. Thank you!
I noticed that the Cobra is setup on a wooden cabinet.
A few months ago I had the pleasure of testing a Cobra in my house where I had is on a wooden cabinet too.
The sound of the amp was delightful. However I noticed mechanical hum from the transformer was amplified by the wooden cabinet. Just wondering whether you have a similar experience and how to deal with this.
Yes, the hum of the transformer is heard more strongly on the thin wooden surface of an old wooden dresser. But the amplifier sounds much better on this surface. This noise doesn't bother me at all. It is the same as on my Oto Phono Signature amplifier. On a hifi rack, the hum is less noticeable, but the sound of the amplifier is more sterile. There is even less rumble on the marble slab, but the sound becomes completely unacceptable for me ...
@@Audio-Salon Um.. hum from a transformer 'manufacturer" (audio note)? Not what I'd accept!
@@nickk6109 yes I'm surprised, would have thought at this price range they would have dampened and isolated the transformer sufficiently. Have to admit, british built doesn't mean high quality.. I've had similar issues with hum from REGA products.

Thanks for the video. How would u compare the sound of AN Cobra vs OTO se signature vs Soro se signature.
My listening music is almost everything (jazz, rock, electronic etc) but not much opera or symphony orchestra.
The remote and built in dac on the cobra is a huge huge plus.
A little later I will try to post a comparison video between Oto SE Sign. and Cobra. Oto SE Signature has a more refined and delicate sound. Classical music, jazz, solo instrumental sounds better on Oto SE. Rock music in my opinion is better on Cobra amplifier. Oto also has a fairly high-level built-in phono amplifier, if that matters to you. But having two amplifiers in one room, for some reason I listen to Cobra more .. a very convenient amplifier to use :) Thank you!
@@Audio-Salon thank you. Look forward to it. Dealer in my country also mentioned cobra as an real alternative to the OTO line se sig as I have non audio note speakers. Coincident pure reference speakers and lampizator L4 dac.
I had an instinctive thought that the Soro Se Sig Line using 6l6 tubes would be great for my application but soro sig is not as popular as the rest, hence few opinions. But it was mentioned strongly as the sleeper in the AN range in another article. Thanks

This or OTO SE Signature?
It's hard to give a definite answer. They are different, but each has its own advantages. For home use, I use Cobra. Within a month, I will make a comparative video. Thanks!

Full body but dry sound. Very agricultural look even for an entry level amp from AN. With competitions from likes of Line Magnetic and Cary, AN needs to raise the bar a bit.
Title promises first impressions, but where is your opinion? there is only sound demo.
Elecrtro Harmonix in an AN? I just threw up in my mouth. It’s like putting $100 all-weather radials on a Ferrari.
The Cobra amplifier is positioned by Audio Note as an entry level. I don't think it's appropriate to compare it to a Ferrari. Besides, Audio Note has never supplied NOS valves for output stages of amplifiers of this level. If desired, of course, you can buy a matched quartet of EL34 NOS valves. (although for about 10% of the cost of the amplifier itself)

@@grzechu0108 Trochę za ostro, ok. Lampy mają swój charakter, minimum nawet dla tranzystorów to kolumna z trzema przetwornikami. Tak na marginesie proponuje zacząć od źródła dźwięku przewodów z posrebrzanej miedzi i najkrótszych połączeń pomiędzy sprzętem i kolumnami.
