Hello fellow audiophile junkies & welcome to my Hi-Fi youtube channel!
On this channel I will share with you the results of my experiments in selecting the most compatible components when building Hi-Fi systems.
I have over 25 years of experience in various audio salons, working with dealers and manufacturers of Hi-Fi & Hi-End equipment. I have firsthand experience with many different brands and their respective components, and have picked up some useful tips, tricks, and ideas along the way.
But that is all in the past, audio is not my main business anymore. Now I live in a small country house, and continue with my Hi-Fi experiments as a hobby 🙂
I will also feature Hi-Fi systems of my friends as time permits.

This is absolutely fantastic!! It may have been asked already, but is there any way to get a complete song listing? There were at least three tracks that I'd love to find and of course shazam and soundhound were of no help

I have the vinyl version of the drum test track. They purposely tuned one of Ron Tutt’s Tom toms to “ring” after it was hit: the more of a ring you can hear the more accurate the playback. You can clearly hear the ring on both speakers.

Your analog setup is significantly worse in quality than your digital one...
The speakers look and sound great! I don't think this amplifier is the best choice for them...

It's hard to give a definite answer. They are different, but each has its own advantages. For home use, I use Cobra. Within a month, I will make a comparative video. Thanks!

i like the amp but ifi zen streamer is so so buggy ...i sold it right after i purchased it...why was the hum when you first hooked it up?
Yes, I agree about the iFi. I sold my streamer shortly after recording the video as well. As for the hum, I got too close to the power transformer with the on-camera shotgun microphone, and it amplified that hum.
How does the OTO compare to the Cobra?

Thanks for the video! I'm curious to hear how you would compare the sound from this Oto with Audio Note Cobra?(I saw that you have a Cobra amp.)
Not even close. Oto much better. Cobra is a joke for youngsters.
It depends which Oto, Cobra is more (for me) interesting than oto PP, hard to choice between 🐍 and Oto SE, and Oto Signature is a winner for me in this case, but its also more expensive.
The bass volume or presence is somewhat limited, of course so is this medium.
In the next video I will record the sound of the Cobra amplifier and you can hear for yourself :)
Cobra, in my opinion, is more interesting than the standard Oto.

I always get irritated by nitwits who are judging a system via their internet, reproduced on their computer. If it sounds great, you don't have to look further, you already have what you are looking for! Btw, Peter Qvodrup and I know each other personally over 30 years, he knows my love for most of his products, but in my home, not here!

That is the best audio system presentation and comparison i have seen on YT. Many presenters on YT and hifi shows only play non demanding music (voice + guitar only) to hide the weakness of the system. Here the drum track tells everything about dynamics and timing. The antique desk is beautiful. Well done!

Honestly, not great, especially for the price. It’s let down by the speaker placement, as you lose much of the magic of the AN-E once you pull them out of the corners.
What veneer on the speaker?
Olive wood.
Sounds good, but I think the Meishu amplifier would need AN E speakers. Presentation of video material as always without complaints.
Yes, you might be right. This is not my amplifier though, an acquaintance of mine gave it to me for testing... He actually uses it with AN-E speakers. Thanks.
