I'm not sure I'd pay their full asking price of $449 but $299 is a great deal right now. Having Damage 2, as I have, knocks an additional $50 off the sales price so you can actually get it for $249 for a limited time. At $249, I am very happy with the purchase. Thumbed up for the great review. Best I've seen covering Symphonic Destruction.
Ugh. This sounds great 😩. Need more cash coming in. Screw this damn profession!! All I want to do is spend the money I make on new tools. This is *exactly* the kind of orchestral library I need. A fantastic compliment to Albion Neo. First world problems of course haha
Have you looked at Orchestral Tools Berlin Orchestra? I'm trying to decide what to buy next and while Berlin Orchestra is more expensive, I'm wondering if it's worth the extra money. I'm also waiting to see if they'll have a November sale.
@@utubewillyman Berlin sounds amazing and is extremely highly regarded it seems. I don’t do any pure orchestral music though, I’m an Alternative/pop/rock writer and producer. So my wants for these kinds of libraries are different than say a film score composer. I like easy and fast and mainly care about the core aesthetic of the sounds in the library. Why I love Albion Neo, it has a kind of intimate, unassuming Indie charm to it. Surprisingly great for pop music IMO that needs some cinematic intimacy. But cinematic bombast? this library has that and I want it 😂
Hey all! I have Spitfire's BBC Orchestra Pro, so I'm quite content with my selection of 'natural' sounds. I'm wondering about people's opinions on whether Symphonic Destruction is worth it if it's primarily for the more distorted, less 'natural' stuff. Thanks!
Hi thanks for the great content! I'm a former touring musician and I'm trying to get a scoring portfolio together. I'm debating between buying Symphonic Destruction, Gravity, Damage 2 and Aeon...I know they're all different but if you had a gun pointed at you which Heavyocity would you pick for your wheelhouse. I have a lot of great libraries from Spitfire (Abbey Road, BBC collection, Bernard Herman, Olafur, Polaris, Hammers for drums by Charlie Clouser) Thanks!
I want it, but being mostly a songwriter/writer of pop songs, I don't think I really NEED it. In fact, I probably don't. But is does sound too great not not have it.
Just take my money. This library is so good!
Your demo track is quite awesome!
GETTING THIS FOR MY BIRTHDAY. 😊❤

Could I ask you how happy you are with it? I can with my cross-grade get it for 179$ now. Would you say it's worth it, or is it too niche? Gimmicky?
This made my must have libraries for 2021 just behind 8Dio's Soundpaint render engine.
Thanks for the thorough review :-)
