    I really enjoyed this! I bought SD on sale and while i've gotten some good stuff out of it, I do find that the amount of tweaking needed to make something "unique" from the factory sounds has prevented me from using it more. I kind of wish they let us add our own source audio to the engine.
    Would love to see more tutorial videos on this if you have them!

    Between SD and Gravity, creativity seems limitless.

    Very excited to find your channel. I’m learning media composing and actually watch The Challenge. I’m always listening to the music and thinking about how I could make some of the sounds. Just picked up Symphonic Destruction as well.

    Great Video Nathan, learned something new about one of my favourite libraries. Thank you! When will we see the other videos with the over 4 hours of material that you already recorded?

      Oh man, thank you. I’m glad it helped. Yeah I browsed through all my recorded content and for some reason worried that other videos got posted before me. But that said when I watch other videos I don’t always learn what I want or as quickly as I want. So maybe I’ll go back and edit it quickly re-record and post - even if other videos might have been posted in the mean time. I only want to post valuable content (even if sometimes it’s highly specific).

      @@NathanDavidCarltonSoundbed hahaha ha, I know what you are talking about, published a video about SD myself recently, always hoping to tell something that wasn't mentioned before, but that's nearly impossible these days. Nevertheless, I really enjoy your videos, full of good content and positive vibes

    So helpful man. I could not figure out why the effects wouldn’t change with the mod wheel.

      Yeah! Isn’t is funny how something that seems so “buried” suddenly makes sense when you see how it connects? :D Cheers!

    Hi Nathan thanks for the great content! I'm a former touring musician and I'm trying to get a scoring portfolio together. I'm debating between buying Symphonic Destruction, Gravity, Damage 2 and Aeon...I know they're all different but if you had a gun pointed at you which Heavyocity would you pick for your wheelhouse. I have a lot of great libraries from Spitfire (Abbey Road, BBC collection, Bernard Herman, Olafur, Polaris, Hammers for drums by Charlie Clouser) Thanks!

    Hi Nathan - EXACTLY the kind of video I was looking for. Yeah so THANK YOU!!
    Question, i do have SD, and was thinking on buying the Mosaic Bass and Mosaic Voices since that are on sale right now.
    Do you think I should buy or does SD provide the same (somewhere in that vast instrument that I have yet to even scratch the surface of?)

    • @NathanDavidCarltonSoundbed
      @NathanDavidCarltonSoundbed  3 роки тому

      I don’t have any of the Mosaic series so I’m really not sure but I’d guess if you’re interested it will be worth getting them separately. SD doesn’t come close to Forzo, for instance.

    Really helpful stuff Nathan. Heavyicity's own 'content' & 'walkthough' videos are not very helpful at all, when it comes to the operational details. Compared to other leading plugin design houses like fabfilter and iZotope, Heavyocity seem to be happy to just bomb their customers with a horde of pro demos that showcase the application of their product in a good light, but then merely 'summarise' the general functionality, leaving it up to the user to wade through their User Manual. Not sure if it's just hubris, arrogance or ignorance.

    Your voice is far too loud compared to the instrument playback, great demo and features though, appreciate the ways to use the tools and overview

      Thanks! I'm a little confused though ... this was a talking video, not a play through. I was mostly talking through features... and not really demonstrating the sounds.
