Excellent list, thank you so much for showing us the love! This album was a labour of love for us, and it means the world to us that other people are loving it too. ❤
So happy to see Reconciliation made it so high on your list, thank you for the love and for showcasing it again. ❤
I am really enjoying Tarot - 'Glimpse of the Dawn' released about 1 month ago. They are an Australian band inspired by classic 70's Hard Rock: Uriah Heep, Deep Purple and Rainbow. Lots of catchy riffs and Hammond Organ and a great singer! This is Tarot's second album
Excellent list. My favourites from first half of the year are Sean Ono Lennon Asterism, Magick Brother and Mystic Sister Tarot part 1, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats Nell Ora Blu, Marjana Semkina Sirin, Sykofant S-T , Pond Stung!, The last Dinner Party, Monkey 3 , Kyros, Slift
An excellent list!!!!
Our lists were pretty similar! Pretty sure i heard of Almo from you, so thanks for that! Also, Lemon Twigs is my #1 because, yeah, it's so damn happy, catchy, and nostalgic. Your remix version of A Dream is All We Have is probably amazing, too, I gotta hear it :)
Here's my favs so far:
1. The Lemon Twigs- "A Dream is All We Know"
2. Francis of Delirium- "Lighthouse"
3. Lizzy McAlpine- "Older"
4. Aquilus- "Bellum II"
5. Caligula's Horse- "Charcoal Grace"
6. Imminence- "The Black"
7. Kacey Musgraves- "Deeper Well"
8. Benjamin Francis Leftwich- "Some Things Break"
9. ALMO - "Reconciliation"
I0. Arooj Aftab- "Night Reign"
11. The Decemberists- "As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again"
12. MGMT - "Loss of Life"
13. Taylor Armstrong- "When it Rains"
14. Angus & Julia Stone- "Cape Forestier"
15. Andrew Bird- "Sunday Morning Put-On"
16. Hot Water Music- "VOWS"
17. JJ Grey & Mofro - "Olustee"
18. Waxahatchee- "Tiger's Blood"
19. Psychic Temple- "Doggie Paddlin' Thru The Cosmic Consciousness "
20. Tyler Ramsey- "New Lost Ages"
Interesting list and your taste in music because it flips in a crazy way through out your list. Thanks for sharing your list! A couple of these albums I do enjoy. I believe that Nimeton Hauta band is a late 2023 album but it sounds pretty cool. Cheers!
Yoooo love it
Interesting stuff here. Kyros, absolutely. Almo, however is way too close to Haken for comfort; very good, tho. For the moment, "Ilion" by Slift is on my top, along with In Vain, Borknagar, Darius (Swiss post-hardcore) and Mr Bison.
I am really enjoying IZZ and their album Collapse the wave! Very fun record!! Nice list bud!!
My Top three Albums so far are
The Dry Land by Huntsmen. Modern/Post Metal from Chicago.
Those We Knew by Homecoming Post/Sludge Metal from France.
Voidkind by DVNE.
Just listening to The Last Dinner Party- Prelude to Ecstacy which I bought after watching this video, it is quite extraordinary, thank you 👍. Remarkably, my wife likes it too 😁
