One positive thing about bl3/ttwl I'll say is that the designers/modellers for the creatures, npcs, environments etc. are really fucking good at their job, this dlc is a great example. Pity the gameplay designers are stuck in 2009 and the writers can't close r/funny.
I seriously think they just need to hire better writers and story directors. They really need to stop trying to tell jokes that were used up 9 years ago and expect them to still be funny.
This is the first time in the game series that I stopped listening to the main plot. There’s waaaay too much dialogue happening too frequently and it got annoying, especially when on a roll. Edit: Obviously they wanted more writing/dialogue in the game since it’s reflective of DnD and its supposed to add/fill in Tiny Tina’s backstory, but during the pandemic, people got really short on attention span. This is the exact opposite of what should’ve been done during this era. If the game came out pre-2020 then the dialogue would’ve been more bearable.

The new characters, with well-written dialogue, it was touching and sad at times, while hilarious at others. I hope by the end of this game we have three different types of XP bars, and at least half a dozen different currencies.

Fun fact: this DLC is 10.1 MBs in size. This is the equivalent of a downloading a Cosmetics Pack. This shit was already in the game! You had to pay to unlock it!

uhh i bought the base game and I somehow have access to this. I have no clue either, I just seen dreamveil on the world map, then looked it up and seen it was dlc1. Anyone else? Edit: So everyone gets the dreamveil area but the dlc is behind a paywall by clicking on the mirror. I didn't understand why they would add a new area for people without the dlc but after thinking about it, it seems like its luring you into buying the dlc. idk just my opinion.

The difficulty time gate is a lie. If you play offline you can go past the current difficulty. I stopped at 4 to see if they did an invisible patch or something, went online, and was stuck at 2 again. Went back offline, could do 4, and raged. I enjoyed the base game. I love to poop big poops wanted more from the DLC. It wasn’t so annoying until i discovered this was all a lie. Don’t even have to change my Xbox’s date/time. Just play offline. Spoiler alert: The change in difficulty 4 is you have to…get this….destroy the barrels instead of looking for the 2 chests.
Too honest a twisted borderlands style with dark soul elements would be hilarious I think dark souls looks boring and too difficult while in a imagination of a world with loot guns and elements took from dark soul elements is just the type of game I want

Did it have a single player mode? If so...definitely a game that you should play on stream.

Bad AI, poorly balanced, short story, repetitive content, boring endgame, immunity phase galore, etc… Wonderlands feels like an overpriced, passive aggressive apology letter to fans that makes no real improvement on age old mechanics due to the forced (although creative) implementation of new ones.
