The biggest feature would be, wonderlands now charges you for a season pass that ads no content to the story! That's right 4 dlcs of FUCK ALL!
I really hate that once you finish the main game and are singularly doing Chaos Chambers you no longer have Tiny Tina voicing any of the CC runs. Very poor decision on the development of this game as Tina is one of the best parts!!!

Bought the game on Steam recently but did not buy the season pass with it. I am missing a great deal of content without the season pass? should I get it? It is almost 25$ in my region.

It’s better sure but Chaos Chamber is still a slog, 50 Chaos Levels is a tad too much imo
not really. do trials until you hit your wall, then make sure chaos mode is turned on to your max level and go play literally anything else in the game. you'll naturally find better gear. then just go back and do a trial every once in a while. you should progress a few levels until you find your new wall. rinse and repeat.

I specifically said "go back and do a chaos trial every once in a while" and "play literally anything else in the game". so I have no idea how you managed to get "just to go back and keep doing chaos trials and no other endgame activity". that is, _quite literally_ , the exact opposite of what I said.

I loved the game (story), the guns, the magic/spells addition, loved every class and play style all at launch, but I did not like the Chaos Chambers atall, and that has only gotten worse imo.... They should ass chaos levels and being able to raise them simply by player the game/story/new game +...... Chaos Chambers are waaaaaayyyyyyyy to repetitive
Fax i got so bored once i hit about chaos 10-15
I don't mind higher chaos levels, I just dislike the fact the player has to get there. One tough boss like Wastard at level 49 could block progress, yet get Le Chance or another easy boss and your home and hosed. I'm currently stuck on 46 as I'm struggling with Wastard who us the end boss for that run. Feels like I may never get to lvl 50 at this rate

Probably a daft question, I've tried mot looking into gameplay like quests etc and never played borderlands properly, any of them, anyway, which console would be better, xbox or ps5? Don't play with friends and ik not sure if matchmaking is a thing
Whichever console you prefer really. At this point it supports cross play and matchmaking.

I still wish TTW forewent guns in favor of fantasy weapons. Wands, swords, etc. with more of a focus on melee and hard hitting ranged combat. Not nearly enough options there.

@@LoudAngryJerk I mean this game is kinda what I expected since I played the tiny tinas DLC, just a reskinned version of borderlands. Like you said it shouldn't have taken that much time to make because they reused the engine from 3. The only bad thing about this game is the lack of good content after the release. Ive also heard it has bad balancing but I don't have enough time in the game to say an opinion on that.

Did you even get to chaos 50? The game's issue was and still is lack of end-game content variety, the only thing you do is run chaos chambers; the DLC added a few maps to the chaos chambers but it's still only that and you need to already clear it 50 times before you can get the best type of loot to start dropping at which point you need to keep doing the same stuff you've been doing already
Great changes, ye... But for my playstile, the only TRUE change I wanted was the replayable story with the same character (like in the other Borderlands game, the Badass Story Mode). Without it, I think I will never come back, no matter what they do. Farming at end game is not what I like
And actual DLC content that is more like an expansion rather than just another Chaos Chamber-like single map (x3 so far). Are the developers not working on DLCs like we had in Borderlands 3?
I like the game just not the end game. I think the game has less replay value than BL games, which has more to do with the grind of getting through the story. But the game is lovely to look at and gameplay is fun.
technically not much better - there are massive endgame problems, over 50 unnecessary chaos levels to grind, and very little endgame content. the new patch ahs some changes, but nothing that great.

it means it's either enchanted or one of the 4 chaos variants (chaotic, volatile, primordial, ascended)

Ive been very patient and have over 1200 hrs between bl 2 and 3, but is Wonderlands worth buying at $63.99 cdn?

Finishing the main story was actually a grind. Is it just me or does it seem like having the hunt down loot rarity multipliers really dampen the fun? Also does it seem like a lot of the legendaries are kinda underwhelming?
Myself and my 6 year old speed ran it and finished at level 23, I wouldn't say its a grind but legendaries could be better yeah
I just want every class to play well without a ton of grind, i know borderlands is about grind but this game makes it harder because of the lack of dedicated drops, the only class that does well without a nearly perfect set up is the spellshot.
And i want more than chaos if you're not a fan of it (i hate it) there's nothing to do in this game
Last but not least the "Optional stat boosts" from chaos are quickly becoming mandatory because what was 20% is now 80% so... if you play chaos 5? Have fun with that one guy with chaos 50 gear
yeah, it feels like they disregarded casual players completely. its like after you beat the main story all you can do is go to the chaos chamber and grind. and if you aren't using spellshot. your at a HEAVY disadvantage until you have gear that can compensate. its a giant let down that there is no True Vault Hunter mode. one of my favorite aspects of Borderlands game was replaying the story with a much stronger, better equipped character.
the whole system is becoming problematic because it forces you to play a specific way, the further you go into the chaos more bullet spongy all the enemies are and if you don't have a full set of Legendaries (that are actually good, which is only like 10% of the legendaries) at as low as Chaos 5, you won't beat Wastard or Dry'l. and then the customization which I was so excited for turned out to to be pretty bland. not giving us the option to customize our own armor but instead making us hope that whatever armor we picked up actually looked decent with our character. poor decision on their part

The did some adjustments but it doesn't mean it's really any better. Don't get me wrong, the main story was excellent but the dlc was robbery for anyone who bought it. Luckily I bought it on sale but still was not worth it. Been playing since the first BDLS and this dlc was a huge disappointment. They need to go back to there roots. There is a reason BDLS 2 was so popular and played over and over again over the yrs.
Level caps are not good in chaos and even in most Borderlands games. No one likes re-farming constantly and the chaos tiers makes it worse. The boss run should have been chaos chambers, and we should have proper dungeons packed with enemies and traps that are linear rather then chaos rooms. They just added two knew items that completely ignore what is wrong with melee by them dealing melee dmg and not being an actual melee source, the spell ok maybe be good to actually throw a hammer as a melee build. but the face puncher is like saying hey melee builders fuck you, and punching them in the face as a wizard and warlock build is the new high dmg melee meta with a wand and a shot gun. Now the barbarian and knight are even more shoved in the corner. No caps on myth rank or the ability to disable myth-rank node’s, if myth-rank is unlimited then difficulty should also be unlimited, I can’t enjoy playing with my friend as his myth-rank is so high it’s like every thing he uses is modded but it’s just skills adding over 120%+more damage. Even chaos level 50 is a breeze for him no matter what build, making class choice have less meaning. The community is still declining 2K has to pay content creators to actually cover the game as most of the main creators left. I want to play but no one one wants to any more and my actual tank melee build needs a support class to kill bosses as melee barely reaches most bosses.

The story is fun, the game is different enough to make it fresh but holy hell did they drop it with the DLCs.
BL3 had a mediocre storyline, yes but that dlc release schedule was perfect. Every few months they'd drop one and they'd be story based with arena type drops at the end.
TTW is repeating the same mistakes the TPS had.
Dialog is excessive AF too. At least set the next mission objective while it's going instead of having to wait.

TTW is just the pre sequel but with newer tech. It had a good story. But it was just for the streamers to make them money.
The vast differences between BL3 and TTW are mind boggling.. totally dropped the ball with this, could’ve been top tier with how fluid they made the gunplay.. very unfortunate
Having only 1 or 2 skill trees is ridiculous why wouldn’t they just keep it like BL3?
Here's my take! They should have give us 3 trees. each class should have come with 2 trees right from the start, a main tree focused on said class. and a secondary tree. which would act more as a balancer that can work with any class but still is predominantly helpful to the main class. then they could have the multiclass system pull from each classes secondary tree and have the level cap at 50.
Basically if you were a Brrzerker x Graveborn it would be.

it would follow the classic Borderlands Formula and if they increased the level caps with that formula instead of just increasing chaos level (or both at the same time) and gave us the option to reset story in a True Vault Hunter like mode. casual players wouldn't feel so left out.
The problem is they already put themselves in a corner by limiting the skill tree. so all they can do is increases chaos and not everyone is eager to play chaos chambers over and over again.

The situation with the 'dlcs' has kind of put me off Wonderlands. I still enjoy the game as a whole and it's a blast with friends [hopefully the Mimic Chaos run comes back] but the fact this game only exists because of BL2 dlc and we have, well what we have, is very disappointing.

This game lost me. The endgame is terrible. The PLCs are a cash grab with embarrassingly short amount of content. I feel like I wasted my money and worry about the future of BL, TTW, and GB in general. People want more content not increased difficulty. GB needs to get a clue.

I’ve been wanting that 3rd person mode since BL3. I was hoping that they would at least implement it on the Sanctuary but switching from 1st to 3rd during gameplay would be amazing.

All the previous games had a CE table that included 3PS- this one should have one too.

@@briankinney3140 it mods your game so that you can play in 3rd person. If you search "Borderlands 3rd person" you'll see what I mean.
The only problem is that Wonderlands doesn't have one yet, but it hopefully will in the future- based on previous entries.

@@metallicnole4514 this is also DnD themed, in DnD you can have many campaigns, they should have just keep committing to this. A Torgue or even a Roland inspired campaign would have been full of content.
