I fucking love unskippable dialogue in my shooting game!!! I want to listen to several unbroken minutes of potty jokes and 2014 tumblr meta-humor about DnD!!!
I love dying because I'm in that weird early-mid-game level void where I fucked up my build, have no money to respec, enemies/quests I can kill/do give like no XP, and anything that would give XP is too powerful/difficult.
The borderlands games are fundamentally pretty fun games that are completely held back by the fact that the developers don't want you to actually play that much of them at a time.
god yes. the gameplay of 3 and this are some of my favorite if not my favorite fps gameplay. BUT all the standing around talking at u and poor story moments that drag out just pull you out of it

It’s honestly incredible how much content gearbox has been able to milk out of BL2. That game was so good that we got the pre sequel, BL3’s DLCs, and now this game, and none of them have been even kind of as good as 2. I mean at some point you have to wonder if they made 2 that good completely by accident and they’ve been scrambling to capture lightning in a bottle ever since. Hate to see it
I'd say let's just be glad we got BL2 at all. It's amazing that they managed to make it, considering how bleak BL1 was (the gameplay was there, the character was not). It's a sequel done right, it made the first game look like a beta. BL3 is like a fan game.
BL 2 was too good to be so easy replaced by a better title. Pre sequel could be done it but since it was a pre history and the history was rushed it would only be good, the mechanichs inserted there were pretty good. BL3 get good mechanics but history was literally trash...the point where it looked promising was Troy betraying his sister which was hinted but never happened...even in his battle it looked like he was going to kill her.

Maybe if she sacrificed in the end to stop troy and save Pandora it would be better but neither of those two things happened (troy betray and ava sacrifice)
Honestly, Tiny Tina's WonderLands is amazing. I am enjoying every minute of it. I really wish they'd make a game out of Zombie Island now too. Regardless, I am enjoying this game.
i am 20 hours into this game and I'm loving it I played the shroom thing because I thought the mushroom looked stupid Edit: I am now level 40 and haven’t completed the games yet. A lot of side missions to get though. And also I just checked on epic it’s 24 hours however the game time says 15 so it’s a pretty short game. Editedit: so I have played all Side missions and main missions I’m on chaos chambers now (they are quite fun) and my playtime is 18 hours which is quite short of a game compared to borderlands 3 however this game has no driving so it makes sense. Overall I would recommend this game, it’s just a fun time.
I chose that class because I the bow looked really cool and the mushrooms poison seemed appealing and then when I multi classed I chose to multi class into the class that gets a pet wyvern so now I get 2 pets

Since you asked nicely, I much prefer the overworld to driving. They could've made the overworld all tall grass, all characters funkopop and played bagpipe music and I still would've preferred it.
The game seemed short I got it on the 25th I worked so I just beat it on my day off yesterday. Already at level 40 and the Chaos Chamber sucks. The devs mentioned this op Chaos gear you get I am not seeing it at all also just running basic weapons and easily clearing enemies out. I played on Intense and it didn't offer me a challenge
@@chronics3710 That's subjective. To me: it's just an easier version of OP levels from BL2. I did rather enjoy the way they implemented the raid bosses though. That felt much better. But the whole game feels quick, cheap, and hollow.
The only thing they could've added was leaning a bit more into the fantasy and have bows and the guns be repeating crossbows. Still this is based off of Tina's imagination and she doesn't quite know what was in a medieval fantasy setting or not.
This game honestly feels like the Borderlands game they wanted to make but they felt they had to make BL3 first, it has so much more authenticity/character than BL3 did IMO.

But Will Arnett is funny, is really cute hear Bojack trying to be a Villain he is good, Andy Samberg and Wanda Sykes also do a Fun rol, I believe this 3 actors are funny because they are funny, not because of the script, and Ashley B. always do a good performance so no complaints.

He does rely on his cynicism a bit to much for his humor. Been following his channel for a real long time and I enjoy 99% of his content. But that is one of his only few flaws. He can be a bit overbearing with how much he criticizes things incessantly, its fun to rag on "g-box softies" and make jokes about the quality of certain content, when it clearly isn't bad, and lets be honest most of it is an exaggerated act. But sometimes I just want oboe to just be chill and genuine for just a few minutes. Maybe he does this because he doesn't want anyone to notice his flaws so he always points out those that are part of himself; in the game.
That's if you even agree the borderlands franchise even needs saving, I certainly don't think so considering bl3 was the best selling game in not just the borderlands franchise but the best selling game gearbox has ever made, bl3 sold twice as many copies as the beloved bl2, franchises that are more popular than they have ever been and making millions of dollars in profit don't need saving, judging a looter shooter based solely on it's story is like judging an indie or free to play game solely on it's graphics, it's pretty obvious story isn't a major priority in looter shooters, whether it's borderlands, Warframe, destiny, the division, anthem or outriders, these games are gameplay and progression focused titles and I wouldn't want it any other way, why spend thousands of dollars to hire a good writer when you could take that money and develop and polish the gameplay further, considering that's what you spend 90% of these games doing anyways
I will agree to this point on everything besides anthem. That game was a absolute pile of shit I wouldn’t even consider it being a looter shooter, more like an attempt at one
BL3 was hyped to the moon and back and completely shit the bed on story, humor, and character development, the main things that separated it from the competition.
@@dc7981 Chaos is a joke. Running the chambers up to level 20 just to get next to no real improved gear is fucking WACK! Mayhem was full of bullshit but at least it felt like you were getting stronger. I've literally gotten chaotic versions of guns that are weaker than regular rolls. This shit is pretty bad. So much work to grind up to chaos 20 for literally next to no real fucking pay off. Also it feels like there are next to no fucking legendary GUNS in this game. Just shit tier spells and melee weapons out the ass. I'm pretty bummed tbh.

I think it's pretty fucking dreadful tbh and I'm kinda shocked they made this decision. Couple that with super boring feeling legendaries and I'm just lost. Waiting to see if this is a me thing of just another one of my really early to the party things that will become the majority opinion once people have gone as hard as I have. I only have the SDU's to buy for the completion but gold is a joke to get in this game and I'm not gonna grind. Just putting it up for now until changes or until the first DLC comes out. Fastest a Borderlands game has EVER died for me. Including Presequel where you couldn't even technically "farm" anything because it had no dedicated. It still somehow feels better than this game tbh IMO.

Chaos is the best end game content we've ever gotten on launch lmao. As you get a higher chaos level you have a better chance to get that loot
