Yep, the only way I could eat an egg was scrambled and topped wjth crumbled bacon and melted cheese to cover it up. A full plate of gross fat and chemicals. I honestly can’t even stand the thought of scrambled tofu or that black salt used to make it taste like eggs. But I’m not missing anything because there’s so many other wonderful plants to eat instead!!
Seitan in the breadmaker...I love the idea. Although the traditional methode is already easy, i have the feeling I will lovve this one even better. I will definitly try it today in my mini meal prep. Thank you. 🙂
Every time I watch your videos I get tonnes of ideas. You're such a life saver when I'm stuck in a cooking rut, plus I love how you actually make things uncomplicated. Thank you 🤩🙏
wow seredipity that yt served me your channel right now - I had been toying with the idea of making seitan in a breadmaker for a few weeks. Finally got one on fb marketplace last week (which happens to be the same one you have!) and then found a recipe (the same one you used) and made my first loaf today (It was baking when I saw this video)! I'd love a video of you trying different tweaks! I have a list of things to try (adding blended beans or tvp or pea protein or even diced veg, subbing Worcestershire sauce for faux chicken broth or taco seasoning or maple syrup, playing with ingredient ratios, using the express cook setting)
Love these recipes as I also eat a sammich everyday practically. I am the only one who eats vegan in my household and was wondering what is the expiration date on leftovers. Thanks so much!

Oh man! I try to make sandwiches all the time. Most all are fails. I use the wrong bread, which makes a difference. It is not pleasant when you bite into a sandwich and it smooshes out the back end. I made tofu egg salad before but you use other ingredients im gonna try. I also can’t wait to try the soy curl bacon one. Im gonna try all of them. But really the bread is what makes all the difference. The right ingredients with the wrong bread or roll will ruin a sandwich. Also the right sauce or spread makes a difference too. Can i use the satan recipe and bake it? I really want a vegan Italian hoagie/sub. Do you have any ideas for that?
I literally eat a sandwich every day; as a college student, it is the easiest lunch and super budget-friendly. I love sharing my weird sandwich inventions on my own UA-cam vlogs and what I eat in a week, but you are so right the wrong bread ruins a sandwich bread is just amazing 😄
Yes the bread is everything! and the sauce. Which is why I eventually just started buying vegan mayo because it made it so much easier and tastier. The soy curl bacon is SO good! I haven't tried baking the seitan but let me know if you try it!
One of my favorite things about this gal is that she has so many ways to cut the time required to make things - like rehydrating soy curls in a marinade, then cooking them to crispness. I’m also a big fan of the vegetable chopper box; it saves so much time and effort. . And I’m amazed at how she makes seitan in a bread maker. I have never seen that anywhere else.
Wonderful recipes. And I’m just shocked 😮 you made the Seitan in the bread machine that’s genius
It is really easy. I can't imagine making it any other way! ha ha
Saved! I’m tempted to get a bread maker instead of kneading and steaming my seitan. Great video!
You can probably find one at a good second hand store. I got the last one that way
@@karenarmstrong7495 Thank you, I’ll look!
It's totally worth it! I love using my bread maker for bread too!
That first sandwich is gorgeous! Anyone would be excited to have that arrive at the table while eating at a restaurant ❤
And it tastes good too! My kids LOVED it. My daughter has declared it her new favorite food. ha ha
You really changed the game with that last one. I didn't even know you could make seitan in a bread maker.
Yay! I am so glad!! It makes it super easy!
yeah, eggs were my gateway aversion that led me toward plant-based living. these options are way better, awesome job! *high-fives*

ha ha yeah, people complain about the texture of tofu, but I'm like--but you eat eggs and that texture is so similar!
@@pilatesbyalisia7015 seriously! and the tofu has so much less horror attached to its production.

Awe! You just made my day!!
Missed opportunity! (My daughter is allergic to casein/dairy) I would definitely sprinkle a smidge of nutritional yeast on the tofu..
This is perfect for lunch meal prep. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
5am here but my mouth is drooling..
ha ha ha that's amazing!!
Yummy 😋 vegan high protein sandwiches Ali and thanks 👍 for sharing. It is appreciated and love 🥰 the video and love 💗 Ali and family.
David, YOU are the best!! Sending so much love back attcha!
I so look forward to your videos. You teach me something all the time. Thank you!
Yay! I am so glad! I'm always learning too!
All of those looked really good!!
They are yummy! And easy!
I didn’t know tofu didn’t have to be cooked! (I’m new to this life style) can’t wait to try this vegan egg salad ❤️✌🏻

Love these ideas!!
Love the seitan one, i don't have a bread maker so will try without. I've made seitan recently by steaming, but not these ingredients
It is a yummy recipe!
I steamed my seitan as well and it’s better than any vegan processed lunch meat for sure.
The first one looks so good! Allergy to soy so I wonder if i had smashed white beans or chickpeas instead. Everything else looked so good.

Great ideas, really like the caprese sandwich and the soy curls BLT. I have a bunch I need to use up!
Fantastic sammivh ideas ❤ yummmm
Thank you!!!
Yum! 😊
thank you so much - was waiting for the seitan bread machine recipe! The recipes are so inspiring!!
I am so glad it is helpful!
2:22 gotta try the sandwich, genius
What model bread machine are you using? Love the recipes!
Where have you found low fat vegan Mayo? The only one I've ever found is Waldon Farms Amazing Mayo.
where do you purchase your soy curls and liquid smoke?
What if you dont have an air fryer?
Yummy 😋😋
Thank you!
Thanks for the Seiten recipe using the bread machine. It feels less intimidating.
I just love vegan high protein stuff..
Yay! Some people hate it, so I am glad to hear it!
Yummy ❤❤
Vital Wheat Gluten is available at supermarkets now.
I will have to keep my eye out for it!!

There's gotta be a way to make that seitan without a bread machine; I'll search for a recipe.
❤
Very nice. But I'm surprised no black salt in the faux egg salad. PS The children are so adorable. 🧡
I’ve seen several of her “egg” videos and she doesn’t use it. I always wonder why since it really does give that eggy taste!
I actually need to buy some black salt! ha ha I haven't used it yet!
Easier to put the tomato & lettuce on the tofu then place bread on top instead of try to marry two sides together.
ha ha you are totally right! I clearly didn't think about it thoroughly when I was filming.
I thought u were suppose to rehydrate soy curls then ring them out THEN add flavor🤔

@@terredee I’m DEF trying that one. I’ve only ever made it as nuggets and there were a bunch of steps the bread maker sounds OUTRAGEOUSLY easy 🤯
@@terredee that chopper is life! ha ha
try the recipe as is.... it is so good!
Too much bread with those bread rolls
Quarter cup🤣
I know, right? That ‘a fourth a cup’ is so awkward and funny!
ha ha that never even crossed my mind. I'll have to remember to say it differently.
