I was just thinking the same thing while watching this but he’s sitting with men who all can handle his intense cue maker personality. A lot of ego in that room but that is great for the folks wanting to see great custom cues

THATS WHAT I DO. SPEND THOUSANDS ON CUSTOM CUES AND DONT PLAY WITH THEM. DONT WANT TO BRING THE VALUE DOWN.

Just because a cue design is original doesn`t mean its good, all designs that are new are taken from whats been done before.
For me a cue is just a tool, period and all these fancy inlays, rare woods and materials,is wasted on me.
Yeah thats a nice cue but you can`t run more than 4 balls.
A cue that cost around $600 thats made well will perform as good as these cues that cost 5 times more, your paying for cosmetic touches, thats it.

I hereby announce a new rule for humanity: Henceforth, all leaders of all industries and all communities and all countries on the planet earth shall regularly participate in a round table discussion with their peers. The word "participate" is key.

Bender didn't say a word at all but his cue hits very solid and is a piece of art. I also have owned Mcworter、Nitti、Capone and Tonkin.

I really like Nitti’s work and have for some time now. Never played with his cues but would love to hear your feedback if you ever feel like taking the time to respond.

We want to thank Justin Collett for his hard work in the industry! As always, he pulled a group of individuals together who are at the top of their craft! Amazing video to watch and lots to learn! Thank you Justin, TAR and all the participants!

MOST OF THESE PEOPLE WHO CALL THEMSELVES CUSTOM CUE MAKERS ARE NOT AT ALL. THEY INLAY THE POINTS, NOT REAL SHORT OR FULL SPLICES, DONT EVEN KNOW HOW. INLAID POINTS. THEN DRAW SOMETHING ON A COMPUTER SCREEN, LINE UP THE CUE IN A CNC, THEN CUT INLAYS ON CNC, GLUE IT TOGETHER, AND CALL THEMSELVES CUSTOM CUE MAKERS. THAT IS AN ASSEMBLY LINE!

WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE ONLY GUY STANDING IN FRONT/BACK, WITH BLACK HAIR, ASKING THE QUESTIONS?
LOOKS FAMILIAR, BUT CAN'T THINK OF THE NAME.

To me, I feel a Cuemaker is a craftsman with having a creative side to design work and the know how's of technology to making a cue, one of a kind

THEY SHOULD HAVE PUT NAMES ON THE TABLE IN FRONT OF THEM, SO IT IS KNOWN WHO EACH PERSON IS.

HUNG OUT AFTERWARDS WITH JUDD FULLER, SMOKING CIGARS, DRINKING FINE WHISKEY, SHOOTING POOL, AND OH, ON THE 30TH FLOOR OVERLOOKING CENTRAL PARK,

There was definitely some ego banging in that room. BTW, RC is pretty much dead on. Also as this film is quite dated, I guaranty very few makers use bolts any longer. No way I could listen to more than a few minutes of this.
