I have the Leki Cross Trail FX Superlite's and am about to use them for Minotaur and then I'll be using them for Lost Souls 100k. They are incredible so far! Especially if you've just used more traditional hiking poles. The glove is fabulous and is super easy to use once you've test ran them them a couple times!
I'd say these have bothered my hands less than the traditional hiking pole straps - you still feel some wear on your hands. But I haven't gotten the same awful blisters like I did with other poles.
I also have the Salomon vest and quiver and these slide in e-z!

Nice. Appreciate the feedback and good luck at Minotaur. Guess I will see you at Lost Souls ! Also interested to compare notes on the FXOne’s to the Superlites. 👍🏻

I use Leki Shark poles for Nordic walking and replaced the supplied mit (which irritated my hand) with Leki fingerless gloves; so much more comfortable. I also have full Leki gloves for winter use.

@@AlanBD1 Thanks Alan. I can see how the gloves could irritate. They feel pretty stiff at first.

Interesting, looking forward to hearing more about these.
I use mine without straps, but I see most people use straps.
Also, it is strange that you can not adjust the length of the pole, some like to
make them longer going down hill.

I got the heavier version of the leki ultratrail. For amateurs like us they are better and seem more stable. Have run 2 ultras with them (100k + 5000m ascent each) and they were great. After hours of continuous use the gloves may get tend to get stuck to the pole, so using a bit of hand cream helps every now and then. For the less technical races I use the lighter version without the gloves.

@@willneverforgets3341 Thanks Will. Great advice. I’m running 100km tomorrow which will be the longest I’ve used them at one time. 😎

Just took my first run today and I love 'em already! However, I was trying to take the baskets off (to make them easier to get in and out of my waist pack) and when to the directions. The illustration shows just unscrewing them. Even with pliers, I couldn't budge them. Any clue from your experience?

@@warrennelson7949 Nice! I haven’t tried to take off the baskets yet though. Glad you’re loving them. I’m using a Salomon quiver for mine so it hasn’t been an issue.
