Progress on part 2 is going at its pace, but I just thought I’d clear up some common recommendations or questions regarding this challenge going forward! • Why are you using plant food if PvZ1 doesn’t have plant food? I didn’t think about this going into the challenge, but I’ll be sticking to using plant food due to how PvZ2 is designed around this mechanic. • Why won’t you use premiums from the first game in this challenge? The main reason I’m not using premiums is just to have strategies for this challenge be more accessible to everyone. There are exceptions to this rule, I can use them if the game picks them for me to use. But I’m limiting myself as much as possible in order to make this challenge as fun and “freemium” as possible! Also gem plants and one seed packet plant are exceptions to this rule. • Can’t you use [insert plant here], they were in PvZ1 China? And what about [PvZ2 plants that function the same as a PvZ1 plant that isn’t in the game]? I am honestly 90% sure this challenge would be completely impossible back in the day. Torchwood is the only real way to get through ice age apart from jalapeño. Now that torchwood is a seedium it's doable.
FINALLY someone is giving spikeweed the credit it deserves, it works perfectly against the chickens and dynamite guys killing them with ease and no scratch on the other plants. It literally carried me through wild west along with repeater
The way you commentate over gameplay and encourage people to try this on their own by making it as “freemium” as possible is really good. It has this energy of a good friend infodumping about a game they like. Cannot *wait* to see more.

Wow, utilizing Cabbage-pult's Plant Food on PS 24 was actually insane. I would have never thought that would be the solution. Also, EY EYO EYO "Ancient Egypt." got me.
Plants vs. Zombies 2 is a totally normal game with peak game design and absolutely no glitches whatsoever, whether they be visual, functional, or both, and it has only gotten better with every update. Damn good video.
Honestly I just for some reason really like this type of content. I don't know if it's the way you do it or how I just like PvZ2 played this way(not lvling, I love the game but hate what EA has done to it), or maybe the way you show the content(the commentary and also showing most of the content itself and explaining stuff), but all in all I love it. Massively underrated channel.

I did try this challenge once before, exclusively for modern day because I thought it was thematically appropriate. Never would’ve been craaazy enough to try the entire game like this though. Looking forward to the next episode ^^ Also your editing is amazing-

I don't play PvZ2, but this video ramdomly came up in my recommended videos. Wanted to just catch a glimpse, but I ended up watching the entire thing. Nice video! Also it's nice to see that this guy's channel had 300 subs before this video, but now it has 2,5k+! And I love the edit at 18:10, it made me laugh out loud.
I have ALWAYS maintained thst cabbagepults plant food is good enough for it to b taken when going through story mode and I'm glad it's getting the recognition it deserves
A couple things I remember from future areas is Lost City LOVES forcing you to use specific plants through conveyors and locked and loaded levels, and Far Future oughta be pretty doable

There’s a Rent a Plant button above the Let’s Rock button. Clicking on it gives you the option to watch an ad to get one of three random plants which you don’t have yet for that one level. Restarting the level brings up new plants. After beating the level you can purchase 10 seed packets with coins and 10 seed packets with gems. You can also get adventure plants you don’t have yet with seed packets. Therefore, you could abuse this to unlock plants early. Also happy 2k sub :)
as someone whos ride or die pvz1 and not too big on the other games, i really love this! plus i never got too far when playing pvz2 anyway, so its fun to see someone get farther than i did with the plants ive known and loved for so long :]

19:11 Winter melon’s price is the same as the first game since in PvZ1 You needed to place a melon pult which cost 300 sun then place a winter melon on top which cost 200 sun.
Usually when I watch these sort of videos from smaller creators I don't know, I am always able to watch part 2 because the videos are usually a little older. So that's why it's so frustrating that this video is only days old and I have to wait for part 2 haha. Well, I guess I'll have to subscribe to not miss it...
