Love how torchwood went from being pretty crap and costing actual money, to costing gems on ocassion to being pretty much a free seedium plant that was buffed to pure ascension, powering pea plants, dealing melee and being a discount jalapeno.

Good luck in Neon Mixtape Tour! As someone who beat PvZ 2 in mostly 2-4 weeks around Halloween - November (I did like Frost bite caves to the end because I already was finally fully playing PvZ 2 earlier in time) Neon Mixtape Tour is the hardest due to just pure speed and the annoying zombies. I mean, Big Wave Beach is basically cheesed with Ghost Pepper and Rotobaga (I love Ghost Pepper btw), but that just means it's probably gonna be brutal for you tho. Also in terms of Torchwood owners vs non-owners add me to the group who has Torchwood because of the November log in bonus. Also it's possible to get plants like Magnet shrooms early because of the seed packet mechanic, so if you need to, technically there is an option to get a plant early.

Frostbite Caves Day 23 (the one with the endangered Chard Guards) is possible, as it turns out. You just need to use Cabbage-Pult’s plant food before the Chard Guards have time to knock back the zombies, similar to Pirate Seas day 24. It is complicated for the first snowstorm though, since the plant food appears at the exact same wave as the storm (always in the bottom row). The key is to use a Hypno-Shroom on the zombie with plant food (with plants like Cherry Bomb the burn animation takes too long. Some other instants would probably still work, but Hypno works the best.). Then, immediately use plant food on Cabbage-Pult. Problem solved! Other then that and the other Cabbage-Pult plant foods, play the level like normal! Just like that, the level is possible! Also absolutely amazing video! I loved the presentation! Keep up the great work! (Sorry for the long comment by the way)
hot tip - in the upcoming jurassic marsh. the seemingly-useless-in-this-game garlic can be used in the first column to divert zombies away from lanes with dangerous dinosaurs like ankylosaurs or pterodactyls. with the only zombies in this world capable of one-shotting them being gargs (also rock punchers but they only appear in the expansion levels). you can use them to filter zombies into lanes where defending is more manageable and they dont run the risk of being thrown halfway up the lawn and into your carefully-crafted defense. spikeweed plant food may help in dragging stray zombies back to the start too. and remember. this world is messy to a point where symmetry is barely feasible or practical. so dont be picky with how your lawn looks edit - oh! just got another thats probably more important. quickly use puff-shrooms to act as meat shields for hair metal garg shockwaves. using cheap quick-recharge plants like sunflowers may be a good alternative too

Absolutely awesome, keep it up Edit : this video proves it even more that frozen winds gimmicks are annoying, your only strategy is *fire plants*, also gotta say, they made cabbage pult get outclassed by adding busted lobbing plants like dusklobber, like..., made chomper like the worst plant compared to a free plant like bonk choy and snap dragon, made snow pea worse than other pea plants and then buffed the hell out of a already decent plant in the og pvz by making it a wall nut, a type of damage boosting plant, a jalapeño upon death, and a spikeweed in one plant.

id like to mention that frostbite cave's zomboss could be possible with only threepeater, as long as they're boosted (which you only do in NMT later in the run). i think i beat it once with boosted threepeater and not much else, so maybe give it a try. make sure to place them in front of the zomboss tile for maximum damage.

You're gonna get Garlic in Neon Mixtape Tour Surely, Garlic will be the savior of this challange, I fear this is going to be too easy now that you have Garlic. He is the most OP plant after all
It's always bugged me how dark ages is the world to introduce peanut. And if I'm not mistaken, they even allude to it being a sort of counter to the jester zombies. 9 times out of 10 I would much rather have just had a regular Walnut, since at least the Walnut won't constantly be damaging itself whenever a Jester shows up, a zombie which basically hard counters any plant that uses traditional projectiles. It genuinely feels like more of a detriment than a help everytime I was forced to place one because it was the only wall plant given to me on a level. Sort of an act of desperation.
An interesting question I have is if there's ever another level where you allow yourself to use seedium plants, if you obtained enough explode-o-nut seeds, would you allow it for the challenge? Explode-o-nut did exist in pvz 1, though it did have a very different purpose/look
the fact that it’s been redesigned for PvZ2 is the only reason i can’t use it. if it had worked like it did in Wall-nut Bowling though, i totally could’ve
@@theoriginalalex makes sense, it's a real shame they didn't bring wall-nut bowling in a more traditional sense, I mean the tumbleweeds and bowling bulbs carry it on in spirit, but as you've made plenty clear, acting like a pvz 1 plant isn't enough to allow it for the challenge.
24:22 the sun bomb levels were my favorite far future levels. I thought it was an interesting strategy when to collect the sun and when to use the sun to kill zombies.
Challenge idea: pvz 2 plants only. If plants got reworked (model or an upgrade) you can use them since they’re technically part of pvz2 or, if you want to make it harder for you, you can do just pvz2 plants.

Im pretty sure torchwood is a guaranteed seedium, and if so, wouldnt you have been allowed to use it in fbc for the heating effect?

id like to mention that frostbite cave's zomboss could be possible with only threepeater, as long as they're boosted (which you only do in NMT later in the run). i think i beat it once with boosted threepeater and not much else, so maybe give it a try. make sure to place them in front of the zomboss tile for maximum damage.

It's always bugged me how dark ages is the world to introduce peanut. And if I'm not mistaken, they even allude to it being a sort of counter to the jester zombies. 9 times out of 10 I would much rather have just had a regular Walnut, since at least the Walnut won't constantly be damaging itself whenever a Jester shows up, a zombie which basically hard counters any plant that uses traditional projectiles. It genuinely feels like more of a detriment than a help everytime I was forced to place one because it was the only wall plant given to me on a level. Sort of an act of desperation.

No cap, You can't use Perfume Shroom, you cant even use the best plants in the entire game. (The Primal family)
An interesting question I have is if there's ever another level where you allow yourself to use seedium plants, if you obtained enough explode-o-nut seeds, would you allow it for the challenge? Explode-o-nut did exist in pvz 1, though it did have a very different purpose/look
the fact that it’s been redesigned for PvZ2 is the only reason i can’t use it. if it had worked like it did in Wall-nut Bowling though, i totally could’ve
@@theoriginalalex makes sense, it's a real shame they didn't bring wall-nut bowling in a more traditional sense, I mean the tumbleweeds and bowling bulbs carry it on in spirit, but as you've made plenty clear, acting like a pvz 1 plant isn't enough to allow it for the challenge.
