Good to see you get out. Hopping to get out myself this weekend. I discovered those barn quilts myself after I got my cabin. My cabin is close to an old German settlement. Each pattern represented a family. Hope your wife has a full and speedy recovery. Good for her to get out there.
Good to hear from you! Yes it has been a long and challenging year. Long winter, record snows, then add in the health issues. Things you don't plan for...right? Talking with the wife, I guess the pattern she chose was the Alaska Star pattern. Thank you for the get well thoughts! I will be looking for your adventures.
Hey 1968, if that starter is spinning that means your problem is most likely not a wiring issue. More than likely the solenoid slide arm is just sticking and might need some cleaning and a bit of lube. You may be able to tap on the solenoid with a screwdriver while it is cranking and get it to engage. I hope you can get it working. If you need a hand get in touch with me. Enjoy your quiet time! -Dusty
That was my thought to! I've had many auto solenoids that the disk gets burned in one spot or like you say, the shaft or arm sticks. But there is no voltage coming thru...from the ignition switch when you turn the key. Thats where I found the bad....Ooops next video....almost gave it away.
You made it! Glad to hear that. Have to admit I've lost track of everybody and whats going on. Keep your chin up and keep plodding along this summer, you have all winter to sleep! /grin
I have spilled more gas with the new safety, environmental safe cans. 100% agree, hate em. I have used this generator for over 10 years, the Yamaha. My Son uses the Honda. I recommend them both. My favorite though...so far is the new little Cummins 4500i.

Nice to see you back at the cabin :)
Thank you, and it feels good also. Happy Place. How's that pup doing? :-)
I absolutely hate the new gas cans. Do you prefer a Yamaha or Honda generator?
