This is very sad to see, as mute swan numbers in some parts of Europe and in the UK are falling because of avian flu as well as all the other usual problems, it is a shame they cannot be shipped back to Europe or the UK.
Let the mute swans be! The Canadian goose is far more invasive! They are a much bigger problem than mute swans. I’m making reference to the U.S., not necessarily Canada. They stay down in the U.S. year round now. Ugh.

The difference is Canada Geese were not introduced to North America, they are on the move due to climate change.
