This show illustrates the "cluster B" personality disorders so well it should be used in training and universities. The actors who portray all forms of mental illnesses deserve the highest praise, they truly capture the symptoms.
I've dated a psychopath, and I've been told by everyone who knows both of us that this show would trigger me. Interesting to see that professionals agree.

I really liked Black Noir. I honestly was never sure if he is good or bad and that might just be why I like him so much... He never had to spoke to tell anyone. His allergy as well was super funny. He did some good gestures too.

Those people gaining superpowers might not be so bad(though it still could go south), but being born with superpowers before those moral values are formed would more often than not turn out bad
Usually I'd hate a character because they are the villain, or love them despite that because of their charisma. Homelander is very different. He's the only villain that actually scares me. Even when he's not doing anything wrong, you know something's off. It feels like a long gone primal instinct whenever my ancestors felt the presence of predators. I haven't even watched the show yet and somehow I can feel how terrible that guy is.He just gives me the creeps. Anthony Starr really did an impossibly good job in this.

Yeah, the show is graphically very violent but there's stuff in the comics that I doubt they could show on television. In the comics Starlight sucks off three guys at the same time to join the team, one of the Seven eats a live baby, and... well... lots of messed up stuff that TV censors would never approve in a million years.

There's something about Homelander that makes him very believable as a psychopath. He's good looking and powerful, he even smiles but there's something he does with his eyes and mouth that shows what he's really thinking about. Props to the actor (and director too) for that, it really sells the show.
I disagree. There are no superheroes that are "meant to be" anything. That's why there are different iterations of them all the time. Someone could have a different adaptation not faithful to the source material, as long as the character stays true to its portrayed variation, it is a solid movie. Whether I'd like it or not is a different issue.

It a nice show. Like you won't regret spending all your time watching it. Its a great story, but poor scripting, a handpicked good actors, horrible backstories. I was a relieved when I knew it was based on comics because who gives names like Mothers Milk to characters. And season 2 was a shitshow.

Honestly Giancarlos is an amazing actor and he's just getting so much work right now it's like no one told him how famous he actually is so he feels he has to say yes to every project and I am here for it. In the comics Starlight sucks off three guys at the same time to join the team, one of the Seven eats a live baby, and... well... lots of messed up stuff that TV censors would never approve in a million years.

There's something about Homelander that makes him very believable as a psychopath. He's good looking and powerful, he even smiles but there's something he does with his eyes and mouth that shows what he's really thinking about. Props to the actor (and director too) for that, it really sells the show.

I disagree. There are no superheroes that are "meant to be" anything. That's why there are different iterations of them all the time. Someone could have a different adaptation not faithful to the source material, as long as the character stays true to its portrayed variation, it is a solid movie. Whether I'd like it or not is a different issue.

It a nice show. Like you won't regret spending all your time watching it. Its a great story, but poor scripting, a handpicked good actors, horrible backstories. I was a relieved when I knew it was based on comics because who gives names like Mothers Milk to characters. And season 2 was a shitshow.

I love how amazon, one of the biggest corporations in the world, produced a series criticising capitalism and superhero pop culture. Then marketed it like crazy alongside the very movies and marvel/DC UA-camrs it was criticising.

Honestly Giancarlos is an amazing actor and he's just getting so much work right now it's like no one told him how famous he actually is so he feels he has to say yes to every project and I am here for it.
