Avatar is nothing short of a masterpiece, I cannot fault it. First season is abit more of the kid side but after that it's amazing, make it to season 2 and youl be a lifelong fan. Characters:flawless Soundtrack: stunning Action and comedy: constantly strong
@@frozenwaffle206 i think korra is kind of the best one because achieved the biggest feat of everyone, reconnect the spirit world with the normal world, wan did separate them for what he tought would be the best, but finally died on the battelfield not achieving peace, all the next avatars worked to keep the status quo and peace, avoiding changes to the world, and worked on a lower scale. Korra did change the world like no avatar did before. She maked a lot of mistakes but the world was very different, more connected and industrialized, and benders were also very developed, with more advanced techniques, in aang times there were few benders with advanced knowledge, in korra time lightning and metal bending are very common, and technology too. Aang had and advantage being the avatar, korra not always.
There was actually a lot of character development for Azula that is very subtle. She goes from crazy confident wonder child, to a child being pushed towards perfection by her father and believing her mother hated her. She develops cracks in her armor and eventually has a mental break by the end of the series.
My headcanon is that Mei and Zuko got a cat and Mei named it “Your Honor”... Probably so she could say things like: “Zuko, I found Your Honor; he’s stuck on the roof!”

Fun fact: Dave Filoni, the True Heir to the Empire of Star Wars, directed some of the most pivotal episodes in season 1, and Lucasfilms was so impressed with his work on Avatar they hired him to colead their animation project alongside George Lucas himself.....The Clone Wars. And the rest is history. Everything that man touches turns to gold
Ok, but also, like the fighting animation with the bending is absolutely STUNNING and that final battle was nothing short of epic...just wow. And of course, I cried like a baby at the end because this show was so freaking good
has anyone ever realized that air bending is actually op. like, we can see the air effects because they animated it for the audience, but the director has said that the actual characters in the show can't see the air effects, to they are literally fighting air, aka an invisible force that they cant see. how do u fight something or even dodge something you cant see?! plus, the little air ball scooter aang uses is probably invisible too, so we see aang on a ball of air, but the characters see this kid literally hovering and flying mid air
@@hookedj7184 In ALOK (legend of Korra), Zaheer (one of the villains) suffocates the earth Queen by literally taking the air out of her lungs, and putting it into a ball around her head to prevent any air entering.
