He was given a full explanation on how it was not illegal, he acknowledged that it wasn't, then still said he would seize the drone.🙄 DJ would have put it back up to prove the point.
That sergeant was completely broken, clearly lacking in any self confidence and needed calming down. He was clearly out of his depth and struggling on a basic level.
I see your point but being paid for by the tax payer doesn't always give the tax payer the right to be there. Otherwise we'd all be able to walk in and out of prisons.
The bearded cop has a desire to escalate the taller shaven cop is exceptional- great demeanour, inquisitive and respectful- let’s be grateful for cops like him ..
Btw, the sergeant is such a rogue tyrant, shouting directives at members of the public, when there is no crime involved...and he has such a self entitled ego that he feels he can shout at the members of the public
It doesn't matter if you are a billionaire or living on the street... MANNERS and politeness costs nothing and is worth ALOT (especially IF you are uninformed, as NOT using them make you look like an oaf)
Well that Sgt made him self look like a Fool, condcending as all get out, the Effluent dribbling out of his mouth was Uninformed and might possibly lead him to take actions that may contravene the law.
Police Drone Officer was excellent. Really good interpersonal communication, polite, very knowledgeable and great interaction. A role model for all police officers dealing with drone operators. Positive interaction and engagement, everyone goes home happy.
The lad that hung back is exactly what the community needs. He's not a know-it-all, a chronic escalator or a jackboot... he's just a genuinely good lad who understands his role is to serve and protect his community. To learn... to build trust... to establish links... that's 90% of the job! We need more lads and lasses like him. Sure, you do need jackboots sometimes, but it's exception circumstances. And isn't always a good chat when the police drone guys turn up : ) Gotta love those lads. It's like a Cessna pilot getting to chew the fat with a 747 pilot ; )
That tall young guy was amazing and so was Shaun, if only all police officers were like this this, as for the SGT, hes just too old school and these officers knew that. This is an old video but well worth a watch again.
The seargent was not only angry and confused with his laws. He was unprofessional and was very rude. But the other officers were more professional and it is good to see
Brilliant drone officer right attitude explains things and gives information, he could do with writing about drones to give to other officers in any police force ! 👍👏
🤔What a difference, between these cops! ... "Drone Cop", saying he is proud of being professional, is a breath of fresh air! ... Cop one could really learn a lot from this video! 🤪👍
lol he got you with the NOTAM jargon. Even airline pilots dont HAVE to check NOTAMs. It is there to be used at your own discretion to alert yourself of any potential hazards that may be encountered during your flight. Also you literally checked your NOTAMs via drone assist at 13:05 just you didn't know the jargon (which is what he expected clearly)
Great to hear the drone expert PC i think all could learn alot from him. It was a very informative conversation.Send him all around UK to educate people especially the Sgt who lost it a bit until he realised quickly better get inside. Actually he’s (Sgt) probably a good bloke outside work but old school similar to myself!
Police Drone officer was polite , Pleasant and Respectful!, And nice to see the young police officer educating himself in the drone laws by tuning into your conversation!, No doubt this will come in handy for him for future incidents!.👍🏴
Have you wondered why they are now so touchy about reg details. Because they know we have bent coppers. And bent DVLA Staff. Who sell the details attached to car reg. On the deep web. 500 Quid a shot mate.
Great audit...watch Yardley ski masterclass in dealing with the police...by the way dj always get the police to identify themselves they change attitude if you do it 😊
Sargent was a disgrace considering being in that game for 27 years! The two young officers double checking with thier own Sargent was brilliant and the drone specialist... just awesome!
Absolutely fascinating, great interaction with the two officers - the extra drone safety info regarding fly-aways and FRZ cones was news to me and duly noted.
Hes rude as fuck, definitely needs to be suspended at least. The police wonder why they have a bad name and they employ people like this guy. Cant speak to the public like that.
I would tell the cops call force solicitor & talk to them before they illegally threaten you with seizure of your property as you will take them to court & professional standards
Haha paranoid or what!!! A bit of a hothead that one. Act now, think later. He is quite happy to overstep his powers any time and cost the tax payers claim money.
I would have told the Sergeant, ''confiscate my drone and I will sue you for loss of earnings, damages and legal fees, I will send this film to your Chief Constable, you don't know the law, you will lose your job and I will get lots of money and my drone back''.
Liked young officer , as he says he didn't want Sargent to do something he shouldn't. That's a police job and probably need a lot off officer's just like the young lad
Oh wow, you know how to ease the egos of some of these know it all coppers. That first shouty sergeant was just a silly bully. Then came Mr Drone & you tamed him beautifully. Great cop wrangling skills mate.
That Sargent is a disgrace, unprofessional clueless, you can see why there is a disconnect. Retired lifeboatman
lol

Drones haven't been around for 27 years.
First drone was invented in 1804 by Albert Eindrone.
@@Gnounz 😅😅😅😅
What a triggered sergeant. He needs anger management!
Or an encounter with a piece of 4'2" or a 1936 Morris Starting Handle!
How can private cars be driving on public roads? This cop is a Tyrant. These cops need updated training on Drones.
That's what bugs me... even when they know their wrong...they stick together...and we're supposed to trust any of them
Haven't met a cop that didn't lie yet
A basic but important truth
Even judges see that @robl1613
They all stick together and also have that secret members society.
@@rickwos961 The young coppers couldn't say much about the ignorant sergeant without repercussions but they knew he was wrong.
That sergeant was completely broken, clearly lacking in any self confidence and needed calming down. He was clearly out of his depth and struggling on a basic level.
If cops come out heavy handed for someone doing a lawful activity, then they shouldn’t be a cop,and interacting with the public makes them a liability
Why?
If that nippy little bar steward has kids, I'd be worrying about them. He's unhinged.
He would arrest them for drinking out the milk bottle 😂
Is he a friend of Wayne?
@@S.Trades looks like it. Watch his future actions in the, "I told you so" mode.
How can a police station be private property when it's paid for by the public 🤔
We, as the public, permit them to work in the property too.
This bullshit again there are plenty of public funded places your nor allowed to fly.
I see your point but being paid for by the tax payer doesn't always give the tax payer the right to be there. Otherwise we'd all be able to walk in and out of prisons.
What has publicly owed got to do with access…

Hey DJ, the Sergeant's 27 1/2 years of knowledge went for a Burton. 😂
The last copper summed up the first coppers conduct by stating "when Sergeant came storming out" !!!
Sergeant 4616 Robert’s, you have been tried by your piers and are guilty of being a Doofus! 😂😂
That Sergeant is exactly why the Police are hated. What a complete prick
Sergeant Roberts is the type of cop that punches you while handcuffed and strapped.
I wonder if he's related to Harry Maurice Roberts
I thought he was shouting "put the gun down now" which would be understandable, then I realised he said drone... what a drama queen 🤪🤣
Something you only here once in America.
Drama queen 😂😂😂 maybe he is she... I mean queen
The bearded cop has a desire to escalate the taller shaven cop is exceptional- great demeanour, inquisitive and respectful- let’s be grateful for cops like him ..
the drone cop was really fantastic & professional
I’ve seen him in other videos so not his first rodeo . He did well
i wonder how nice he'd be before people started filming

Old video but i really hope that guy is educated on drone laws and how to engage with public.
Dirty snots must have got the original taken down
Its okay for them to pull drones out, but when someone else does it. One rule for one, another rule for tuther.
The 'Drone Cop' was extremely pleasant and informative.
What a refreshing change 😌
Yeah but he parked across two disabled parking spots. The irony. lol
