- Have you ever had a line appear on your document that you can't seem to get rid of? It could be due to a built-in line-generating feature in Word. In this video I show you how this feature works, how to control it, and finally discuss how to get rid of those bothersome lines in your document.

As usual, excellent video!!!
I have a short, horizontal gray line in the left margin next to some, but not all numbered paragraphs. The line prints with the page. I can't figure out how to get rid of it; it is not the vertical line associated with edited text in track changes. When I hover over the line the small font/formatting menu appears with the drop down paragraph numbering icon highlighted, but it's not clear why that line appears next to some but not all of the numbered paragraphs. Help. None of these videos seems to address this, and I can't find any help with the Word help info for characters or lines in the margin.
Same with me.. not able to solve it
