Anyhow, your video was fantastic and fixed my doc. Concise and instruction tempo was 100%. THANK YOU! Also, my issue was in Google Docs and the formatting tools were in different locations, but your video was all I needed to understand enough to look at the Format tab. For those using Google Docs you will find this at: Format>Paragraph Styles>Borders and Shading.

*FYI:* When you type a series of hyphens or underscores and Word autocompletes it into a full line across the page, it appears that Word formats the autocompleted line as a *border.* 'You' didn't add a border - Word did.

Hi it worked for most of my borders but I have one that just won't delete. I tried both options. is there another strategy I am writing a dissertation paper using tables and figures and it is noticeable since it looked bolded. I have no idea what I did for it to not delete.
@@Forevermoretraining No worries - I figured it out. It is a footnote separator. Change View -> Draft, References tab -> Show Notes, Footnote drop-down option box and select Footnote separator, then you can delete the line.
